Disc shaped projectiles? (Coins)

Has anyone experimented with disc shaped projectiles? Given that making the barrel would be just bolting together a bunch of steel sheets. (No not talking about a stack, like how taofladermaus sends them, I am talking about the frisbee motion)

I know, I know, accuacy shmaccuracy... But still..

Seen lots of non-firearm videos.. but anyone ever tried making it into a firearm?

I have a concept I’d like to test, but I lack the necessary tools. Would anyone with the right equipment be willing to help?

The idea is to make the gun hobby more accessible than ever.
I have seen some people discussing ways to make primers for .22. But I think I have a better idea. Why not just an electric Spark to light the powder.

So the first thing would be to find the best way to ignite the powder.
I found two ways that seam to work best to ignite the powder, to light a thin wire like a light bub, or what the CVA Electra uses seams to be some kind of plasma generator. Probably there are easiest ways, used in small rockets or fireworks.

Then there is no need for the casings, so a paper bullet can be used.

I would like to test the proof of concept of a simple bolt action rifle with ignition system inside the bolt and paper bullets or black powder.

If this can work, more complex design can be envisioned.

are ex 22 bolts supposed to have an extractor attached to them?

I've been trying to complete a ez22 rifle but have had all kinds of f2f's and failures to eject. i feel like there must be an ejector arm on the bolt but i cant find any references to one anywhere can someone please advise?

Real life working black ops blundergat

This gun was my favorite wonder weapon in black ops so after my double barrel build I figured out i could atleast try to recreate this. The only thing confuses me is the hammer and the trigger mechanism any help and ideas would mean so much to me.

I need help understanding chamber geometry for volcanic pistol style bullets

I am working with boollits that are made from segments of copper rod with holes drilled halfway and red percussion caps inserted to the end of the hole, some urea stabilized nc as covering on top of the percussion caps.

I need help with designing the chamber where above-mentioned ceaseless boolit would sit, the percussion caps I am using needs pretty strong strike to blow out. How do I make the boolit stay there snuggly to take the impact of firing pin while still not getting jammed upon striker ignition due to being too tight?

Help please....

Sleeving a 3D printed 9mm FGC9 barrel

If we take a piece of square steel and drill a hole through it with a power drill large enough to JB weld in a 3d printed 9mm fgc9 barrel with a chamber would that work? With enough thickness we maybe can use regular steel that's easy to machine. Would the JB weld interfere with the heat transmission of the barrel to the steel?

Into the bullets we could press the rifling with a 3d printed press.

It's just a theoretical question, because I had a shower thought

PM-63 jig dimensions and striker conversion

Does anyone have the dimensions for the PM-63 welding jigs? I have access to a fairly well equipped machine shop and don't feel like spending $120 on a block of aluminum.

Also, has there been any progress in the striker-fired conversions? The tube in the back of the slide seems almost purpose-made for it, but all I can find online is mentions of projects with no info or links.

Lastly, is the firing pin a separate piece pressed in or a part of the slide?

Edit: actual last question: What type of finish is on the frame and barrel?

Question about ECM

If i have an unequal piece of steel stock and would put it inside a copper tube with 3D printed endcaps to hold it perfectly center would it become round and would it become tolerance wise equally round?

Because the closer the tool(copper tubing) is the more mterial gets machined away and the result is a workpiece within tight tolerances.

Is this correct?
