Long time lurker. Finally built something worthy of this sub. Needed a way to mount an optic for accuracy testing for load development, and I saw no other choice.
It’s just so blursed I want one just to say I have it, plus I can never have too many hunting pistols.
I have been messing with this Ppsh-41 semi dual/split hammer conversion for a number of years, got it running great on original tok ammo with the 16"..and am now finally making the 9mm switch/journey after burning up all the surplus I bought.
Yes, I bubba'd a small section of pic rail to a 1944 KE 3 stamped upper. I really felt the need for some red dot ease when putting my first 500 rounds through this gun, something I can throw on quick and take off. The rail is removable and not welded at least. I also don't have a matching bolt/lower/stock combo wombo so it's no pretty peach anyway. Had it apart today to work on my last two denials and bolt travel before some final metalworks and coating..and wanted to see what reactions this stirrs.
I love this thing, it's my first true build from a torched kit. It already runs like a top, and I am sure adding on proper feed ramps, correct barrel length, etc will only improve things.
Lower rail and grip would round out the SBR nicely....just kidding lmao or am I?? AR style rear end conversion too??? Lol
So I’m poor as fuck. By choice. Mailmen make a fair bit of money, but I don’t like spending it even on things I really really want. I could buy a new gun every month but I like saving money! So I’m gonna buy some 4140 billets and drill and tap them to create a base, stand, and head, after that, I’m gonna attach the motor, pulleys, and belt from this, to the homemade mill, and purchase a coordination table off some random honkey on Craigslist. Hopefully I can have an American made mill by July and then I can use that to start cranking out nice ass receivers.
Smith and Wesson Model 39 work-in-progress frame. Despite being at 5% infill for the fitment test, it's surprisingly strong. I have no doubts this will be a solid frame once i am done with designing!
Can anyone tell me how to build a slamfire shotgun saw some instructions online but I'm still confused.
It may not hold zero but it might hold 40
If I were to sand cast a barrel out of steel or titanium would it work for .38 special.
I bought a balls kit from inmc but never got around to building it. I got a great deal on a bambu A1 and have been looking to jump back in, however I would like to start with an easier launcher. Wondering if anyone has found a way to make or buy a metal breach face?
