What do I do here? I have cleared cache, storage, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my device. Cleared playstore and play services storage and data and reset everything possible. This still won't allow me to login. Further, I don't use a VPN or so. Tried both data and wifi but didn't help. Any help?

I created an account in 2018 and thought I deleted it when I was done. I recently checked this year and the account username and password worked to my surprise. My profile picture was still there but no messages or other info. Does this make sense? I thought Grindr deleted inactive accounts after 2 years? Any input would be helpful.

They can’t even get their messaging system right and now they think they can do Ai?!

At least they asked but what market research said people wanted this?

My block button has been replaced with a hide button. Is there still a way to block other profiles?

Today, a splash screen appeared upon opening the app asking if I wanted to give Grindr permission to essentially have free range access to my account, likeness, AND PRIVATE CHATS 🫣😳 in order to generate AI usage beyond the scope of its intended usage. If allowed:

1: What does unfettered access mean to a company that’s homophobic-owned & operated, and can now auto-generate a “list” of end-users ANNNNND all personal data contained from their device - so when the next Administration decides to round up the LGBTQIA+…. Yeahhhh. 😐 and;

2. Will this constitute Grindr now technically CREATING content? If so, Section 230 will no longer apply to them. 🙌🏽😉

I have the free version, and I’m trying to use Explore. When I go to search a place (eg, Belgium, where a friend lives lol), the Roam and Browse buttons are greyed out. I can’t go back to the Grid except to tap X, either. Help!

So there has been many post about the Grindr app making refresh sounds frequently. Ones happening without actual refreshes. Others when not even in the app. But my issues seems to be a new one.

When using the app, it’s constantly refreshing. And when I mean constant, I mean my phone sounds like it has a sprinkler turned on. Turning off background app refresh does nothing. Anyone else encounter this as well?

So I have two accounts (don't ask), and I have the gender filter on one, but no gender filter option on the other.

Why is that? How do I get the gender filter on my second account?

I don't really have anything against the app, nor do I use it frequently. But my childhood best friend does and he uses it sometimes to obtain drugs. As a recovering drug addict, having access to Grindr is hindering his recovery and he has consented to being permanently banned, if there's a way to do it. Does anyone know?

I've had the app for a quite a bit now and i've never payed for the subscription but i've always had access to some profiles but now i can only see 10 max and if i out filters it only showers 3 profile.
