I created this subreddit to help start a community to keep track of the best ways to visit Grand Prix Circuits. Doing research for travel to various MotoGP and Formula 1 races can get kind of tedious and leads to scattered posts all over the internet.

Hello Race Fans.
I just booked my AirBnB in Melbourne for the race, only to realize tickets have sold out and secondary ticket markets are a bit different in Australia than they are in the USA.
I signed up for a waiting list on Ticketmaster, but otherwise how do I go about securing Park Pass tickets for the weekend? Are there re-seller sites I can use that are generally safe?
I've used StubHub and others a million times in the US and never had an issue, but it sounds like things might be a bit stricter in Australia?
Tragic news of his mum passing away yesterday. My condolences to Eminem and his family. But do you think he will still perform this Saturday?
Hey everyone! I really love f1 and want to be a part of it! Can anyone help me on how I can volunteer in the Monza, Imola or Monaco gp? I have no prior experience in volunteering at a gp.
Thank you so much!
Hi, I'm going to Japan next year in time for the Suzuka GP. This will be the first time I'll be watching the race. Would it be possible to buy tickets for the race day only? I checked mobility station and it's the 3 day package.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi! I'm doing a project on Yas Island, specifically the W Yas Hotel and the Yas Marina Circuit. I was wondering if someone could tell me the average cost/what they payed for a room at the W Yas Hotel for this weekend's race in Abu Dhabi? (All rooms are sold out so I can't see online). Also, if you got a room, did you also get tickets to the race or do you plan on watching from the hotel? Thanks!!
Traveling to Barcelona for the F1 next year and trying to workout the best location to stay. Looking for close proximity to railway station, but also an area that will have a lot to do post race.
hi guys i want to ask coz im planning to buy tickets from tnext year so i want to be prepared, is there anyone who was able to get pitlane walk if they bought GA?
Hi all. I currently have booked a lovely apartment in Como beside lake Como the week of the Italian Grand Prix. I have tickets for the weekend and plan to stay all week and into the next. I thought Como would be great to travel around the lake. I have also heard it's a better route to take to Monza rather than Milan where the trains can be a lot more hectic and busy. I understand the main transport issue is getting from Monza station to the track correct ? I can see that shuttle buses can be very busy and take a while, however I see no other option as all accomodation close to the track is either extremely priced for what you get or sold out. I am happy with seeing and staying in Como but does anyone see any issues with this travel wise ? I know the train to Monza can be there in 30 mins ? We are young and have to be there for 8 am anyway to get a good spot in Gradinate Interno Parabolica. I have just heard mixed reviews in general on transport to Monza which is scaring me but taxis seem so overpriced and will be booked out on the day.
Let me know what you think/ any advice. Otherwise I'm super excited for my first race and to see Italy 🇮🇹
This is my overall pros and cons of the Singapore F1 that I went to this year, and I had a Premier Walkabout ticket to reference! This is to give poeple ideas on what it is like before going and my friend said this would be helpful to others! So hopefully this is the right place! This is just my personal expirence and I would love to hear other people's expirence if it was similar or different!
Pros
The volunteers that worked there were very helpful! There were many and they were able to help which made locating places much easier and they were all very approachable and friendly!
Amount of viewing platforms. There were many to choose from to get different views so there was lots of choices!
Lots of food options! 😋 There were food stalls in each section, with multiple types in each so there was lots of food to choose from.
Very safe country! As a women I was less scared to travel here which made the expirence less stressfully.
Singapore Flyer! It came free with the ticket and was great to sit during FP, it was air conditioned which was a nice break from the weather and had a complete different view you can't get anywhere else. It also basically had no line since the Flyer can hold many people at once! So I would recommend going right before the session starts to maximise the view of both the F1 cars and the scenic view!
Decent amount of water stations and in different places!
Public transport is really easy, quick and cheap to use! I honestly was kind of confused but just followed the crowds of people wearing merch the first day and learnt my way!
Cons
Lots of latecomer shovers. I had waited quite early on race day, so I planned to wait at a good spot as close to the front of the platforms as possible, by doing so missing the entertainment activities that day. (Which if you are only there for F1 not an issue) Few people had camped out, or left thier stuff at the front taking up the entire front. Then closer to the race people would come back, and others would move shoving thier way to the front, or moving to the back in which right before the race would shove right infront. So if you want to view as many entertainment as possible, or can't handle pushing then I would recommend grandstand. Which is what I will do since it really did ruin the expirance I had and my biggest negative.
Bare concert ettiquite. Similar with the last point, many people at concerts will shove and barge towards the front, throw stuff like rubbish onto the floor onto your feet, elbow people.
The weather, which was obvious 😂. Wear short clothes and breathable materials, bring handheld fans and drinking lots of water are a must! There are not alot of fanned areas so you'll be sweating alot 😅
The toilets were really gross, the first day within the first few hours I was expecting it to be clean but already there was urine on the seatsand water from the toilets flooding everywhere in multiple toilets.
The internet is really slow, which might be because of my sim card but many others around the platform in turn 1 also had slow to no Internet.
Overall- It was an amazing experience still getting to watch and I'm very grateful! However, if I was going to go again I would 100% get grandstand tickets because the amount of cutters is not worth it and made it a bad expirence with walkabout. As usual there will be good people and bad people with events, however it seemed like some will go almost anything, which people should recognise everyone there is an F1 fan, wait early and get good karma!!! It is a great place to travel especially if you're alone, and it is easy to make friends with others there if you find the good people! You'll likely be sitting next to them for the whole weekend with walkabouts so better to make friends then enemies :) Prices for living were okay as food and drinks are meh on track, but off track is really cheap! Transport also! Accommodation for a decent place is not as expensive as I thought considering it was during peak but it wasn't a lavish place.
Not sure if people would consider the F1 Ticket expensive but it was around 600 SIN I think from memory! It was all three days and allowed me to go to all the general places for the platforms and entertainment!
LAME
I just scored a free place to stay in Longueuil Canada during the GP. So now I need F1 tickets and flights. I've never been to Montreal.
Is https://gpcanada.ca/ the official site to buy tickets? If yes, it seems like there are a lot of tickets available.
Where is a good place to sit that we will have individual assigned seats?
How long do you suggest we stay in Montreal/Longueuil so that we can see some sights along with the GP?
Any suggested must-see's while we are there?
i just make up my mind and decided to go abu dhabi grand prix, the price of accommodations are crazily high now, any suggestions? budget cap at $1400usd for 4 nights(thurs-sun)as i’m getting ticket from reseller which the price is also not desirable
Does anyone have any recommendations on which hospitality ticket to buy for Las Vegas 2025? Budget is around $5k and looking to get the best view & food/drink for that budget.
I have a feeling $5k may be a bit low but thought I would ask anyway, Thanks!
Going to spend about 300 euros on grandstand tickets for quali. The grandstand tickets my group were looking at are 600 euros a person on Sunday. We are 5 so that’s a total of 3k. Is it possible to buy tickets to someone balcony for something around that price point. Is this something we should buy now, or try and get last minute cheap access.
Thanks
Hi,
This is my first f1 race. I was wondering if there are any organized meetups? A friend of mine went to Miami GP and met some people at his hotel. They went to some organized event for F1 fans. I think he said it was an instagram page.
Anyone have any experience sitting in the Mitte (center) grandstand? Just bought tix for section A today. Would love to hear your experiences or get any Austria GP advice!
Hi -
I’m looking at going to either Spa, Austria, or Hungary’s 2025 race. Which would you choose in terms of organization/ease of access? I’m looking at going general admission if that factors in your advice in any way!
Thank you in advance!
Post feedback, reviews, tip, photos and a quick note on your experience.
Where did you park or get to the circuit? How did you get your tickets?

For my first F1 race trip
I live in NJ. I wanna attend my first ever F1 race in 2025. Which one would be most fun and not to break the bank between Miami - Vegas - Texas. Not need a deep analysis or something. Just your suggestion which one to aim for.
I know there’s loads of options for getting food inside the track and campsites but just curious if you have a weekend ticket and camping ticket are you allowed to leave the campsite and come back?
Going for the 2024 Abu Dhabi gp next week, and I wanted to know if my dslr a Nikon D3300 is counted in as a professional camera with a 35mm and a 55-200mm lens. Do I just take it, do they have lockers so I can store it safely, if denied? Need to know ASAP
My son and are going to Spa and are in Gold 2 trying to figure out which campsite would be best in walking and atmosphere ,the boy is going to be 21.
I went for the sprint race and qualifying today with my brother and uncle with reduced mobility due to a back condition and it was a disaster. The organisation from getting to the venue and eventually to your seats and then exiting after the race could not have been handled more badly.
Getting there - We used Uber to get there. After 100s diversions and a long holdup due to all cabs and busses crammed into one small road we reached what was supposed to be the taxi drop off area. This area is long long way from our seats (T2 Grandstand). Once you get off, there is very limited provision for people with reduced mobility and he had to walk quite a bit to eventually reach our seats. The volunteers won’t help until you ask them to. There were bottlenecks at every point.
Once there - We were given seats in the special area for people with disabilities. The volunteers here were helpful enough and the race and qualifying view was amazing. The same cannot be said for the food and washroom situation as the queues were long (took 30mins to get something small to eat). There was very limited to do around the T2 grandstand during the breaks.
Exiting - Now starts the worst part. For some godforsaken reason, the shuttle bus that brought us eventually to the T2 grandstand area stopped running before the end of qualifying. Which meant a good 2km walk from our seats to the taxi area. There were no golf carts so I had to take a wheelchair for him. After doing the 2kms I could no longer take the wheelchair as it had to be returned. And to my surprise there was another 1-1.5 kms to cover still. After waiting for 15 mins we luckily got a golf cart, but for some reason it could take him only some 200m and he had to walk again. After somehow making to the place that was supposed to have taxis, it was announced all taxis have gone (BTW they banned uber for pickup at the venue to promote the local Karwa taxi). Now they were filling thousands of ppl into busses and sending them off to a metro station that was far off. Luckily we did not have to wait in the long queue for these busses. And then we were paraded from one bus to another until we could find a seats in one of them. By this time my uncles back has gone and he has decided he cannot do this again. At last we are dropped to a metro station where there are hundreds trying to figure out how to go to there accommodations. We got an uber from there after 10 mins and were at last able go to our hotel.
We are not going for the race tomorrow. It was a lifelong dream of his to watch a F1 race with me and my brother but we will have to be satisfied with Sprint and Qualifying due the shambles that they have created.
Hello guys, I'm going to get a ticket for the Netherlands GP next year, but I'm sadly on a budget and I wanna know if there are any promo codes or coupons out there for general admission tickets. Thanks for the help in advance y'all.
Does anyone have a contact at F1 Hospitality or know when the standard paddock club tickets might go on sale for the Montreal GP rather than the F1 experiences ones?
Hey guys I’m living in Dubai and attending the GP, and I really want to avoid late night driving Do you know about a private company organising shuttles between Dubai and the race track?
As above. Not expecting that you can, just wondered if they open the gates like for the European GP's. I'm in the north grandstand for it
