Just picked up Granblue Fantasy Relink yesterday, and I’m having a total blast. I’ve had Versus Rising for a long while now and also loved that. It got me thinking, and obviously just speaking from my cursory personal opinion, but: generic shonen storylines seem so much more tolerable, or something I can ignore within a gaming context. I’m supremely familiar and immersed in Shonen Jump and the many adjacent titles to the digest. I’ve been familiar with it throughout more than a few years, and some I love and most (the more you steer past the 2010s, barring a handful) are just intolerably generic trash that gets me frustrated at how many people gobble it up uncritically, and without seemingly any distinguishing taste. Anyways, to some people it might feel super obvious why those adolescent male tropes are more acceptable in gaming - because games have…actual gameplay lol, something you can relish in and uncover and enjoy in an active sense compared to the general passivity (I don’t even fully agree with this but bare with me) of ingesting a show or TV, there are things about games that you can appreciate while not enjoying/ignoring some of its thematic or narrative elements. But to me it doesn’t feel super obvious and I’m perplexed. Wanted to post this and see people’s thoughts.
Was just wondering if there's a way to change the character splash art in the menu through the game files. I only really care to change the image in the character menu, nothing else.
Anyone know if it's possible?
Thanks
Hi there, I came back from a long break from gaming. I was wondering if there's people still playing online? I've been trying for a couple of days on the highest difficulty missions (Not the Lucilius one) and am not finding people to play with.
can anyone help me defeat this boss? i'm really having a hard time defeating it. i would really appreciate it if someone would help me. i'm in asia server
Context, around 60 hours in, main party is around level 80, midway through extreme quest completion, 7/8 of rolans journal, solo with AI. This feels far too difficult and grindy for end game progression. 150 msp for nearly 10 minute extreme quests barely unlocks a single msp node. I must be missing something, right? I'm using Percival, Rosetta, Id, and the MC on support. Nearly getting 1 shot from the massively nearly unavoidable aoe hits. Any help at this particular stage of the game, or farm focus i should be doing to make this feasible would be appreciated.
I currently have a party with Lancelot (PWR 19380 - no Terminus), Narmaya (22915 with Terminus), Rackam (21772 with Terminus) and Rosetta (20059 - no Terminus). I have 7/19 (Io, Vane, Percival, Siegfried, Id) terminus yet. But in some fights like Lucilius and Behemoth my AI's are dying more than I expected (specially Narmaya).
Eugen was on Narmaya's place before I get her Terminus. But I believe that having a party of non meele I'll be able to deal more damage and with a wide hit box is easier to dodge some attacks.
I saw some Tweyen builds very powerfull, I'm thinking on bring back Eugen even without a terminus and swapping Rosetta for Tweyen.
I only have one war elemental (200 hours) but rng hates me. I still don't have any Alpha/Beta/Gamma sigils but I can farm. My objective is getting the lasts 12 terminus and the platinum trophy. But its being boring as hell fighting only bahamut over and over.
But thats a change that I'll have to spend some time and resources, and for that I came here asking for suggestions. Can you give me some advices? Tyvm
So I just had the biggest map so far offered to me with no safe points. I haven't had to struggle. I only died to the level 49 beast in the ice level. But why the long slog now when before there was a green gem to save at every fifteen minutes?
I just starting playing the game a few days a go , went through the main story and about to reach the endgame , and the point where I usually look up some tips and tricks or guides . I have seen that about 80 to 90 % of the YouTube videos made in terms of guides and tips are about 8 months old so basically when the game came out . How useful are those ? Has the game changed much since then , do you guys are a more recent suggestion regarding endgame guide or tips ?
Hey guys,
Quick question about CC, do they cause a boss to lose bloodthirst? Specifically asking about Lancelot's freezing spell, as I'm maining him at the moment. I'm running all damage skills on him ATM and wondering if it's worth trying out the freeze spell as I play solo.
Sorry if this is a noob question.
i use lancelot for the original lucilius to mash the triangle build. i'm not doing enough damage for zero quest, so im trying out sandy. i'm doing around 600k damage in the archangel form using triangle. but i can't figure out how to do the guard cancel. just mashing triangle in 30 seconds gives me around 26M damage against the dummy, so i'm hoping to go higher. i tried mashing both buttons, one after the other, same time, randomly. tried moving away while doing it, moving towards while doing it. but i'm still getting around 25-26M no matter what. im looking for youtube videos but not getting much luck. is there a trick to when to time the guard cancel?
So, I've finally reached lvl 100 with Narmaya. Got one of her unique sigils and all, reached maniac level on the quests, and now I have 10 crew cards (and obviously all the non acquired characters are at level 60), but there are 11 characters to unlock. So my question is: is the last crew card ONLY available through the gold tickets trade? If it is, am I obliged to play online? Cause I can't at the moment. And I made sure to check - not one single mission on the maniac or proud difficulties have the last crew card as a reward.
Because we like dreaming that maybe one day this game will get more updates after waiting so many years for it.
But no, actually, I was wondering more in details who would you think would fit for diversity in gameplay, design, or simply because they are your favourite character.
Who would you like to see added? And what kind of role/gameplay do you think they would have? Say as many details as you wish.
(Totally not using this for maybe a video recollecting ideas to keep hopes up)

I got up to chapter 7 in the story before I stopped playing, would it be better for me to restart the game to relearn the story and mechanics or just start back up after chapter 7?
anyone care to join me finish all this quest? i'm having a rough time completing any of them LMAO or suggest tips with sub-characters! btw i'm from asia server
I'm pretty early in the endgame, still trying to finish the jobs Rolan started, and I'm at the point where quests recommend 7k power. My main characers, Vane and Vaserage, are apporaching that at about 6800, but I'm stuggling to get them past that, and the rest of my party, primarily Cagliostra, Id, and Zeta, are still about 5500. I'm trying to grind to forge and upgrade their weapons, but I'm running out of rupies constantly.
What should I be doing to get past 7k power? And is there a good way to farm rupies at my level?
Hello!
I generally enjoy playing wizards in action rpg games, so I immediately mained Io.
I did unlock only Cagliostro and kept my tecruting cards so far, with my team being Io, Cagliostro, The Captain and Eugen.
I honestly neglected the AI characters and focused every resources on Io so far.
My question is, now that I will be slowly moving to endgame, will I feel hindered by maining a starting character and specifically Io instead of an unlockable one?
Thank you!
Title.
I loved the game and got what I wanted from it for the most part. In the end I was just never a fan of most of my build needing dmg cap in several slots + war elemental + and i forget what else but there was little room for build variety as far as I remember.
If it hasn't changed I might take a crack at this midnight mod I watched a video about. Only problem is no where in the video was it explained what the base game was like now after the updates.
Either way thanks for reading.
Wondering if anybody has clean versions of all or some of the stickers from the game. More so looking for the Relink exclusive stickers as I know there are ones shared between this game and the mobile game.
Is there a combination of settings that make whatever character that has the elemental advantage start the SBA chain?
Hey guys, so I'm new to the game. Loving it so far and I'm about to encounter the primeval God in the snow mountain area.
I've been using Gran, Kat, Rackam, and Rosetta since the beginning and haven't touched Eugen or Io. As I was looking over my party, I noticed that both Eugen and Io are more powerful than my main party, being both level 19 when my main party is high lvl 17 to 18. I haven't even touched them and I've just been doing side quests here and there along with the main quest line.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening? I'm super confused.
Thanks in advance for anything
Tried opening it and this happens
Hey guys, im playing on PS5 and cleared the game and im not PS+ sub anymore so can't play online atm. I was wondering if the multiplayer online mode was still alive and worth reactivating the PS+ or not.
Thanks!
I didn't know I couldn't go back...
