I've been playing GT since the original, and had hundreds of hours on each all the way through GT4. Wasn't a huge fan of the game since then.

I was excited about GT7, but the campaign felt lifeless. It's a pretty game, but the cost of cars was ridiculous and the campaign didn't grab me at all.

I also felt the racing wasn't fun, and while it doesn't bill itself as a racing game (I think it calls itself a driving game), racing is why I play it.

Have they added anything to the campaign, or improved it all?

Is racing competition against the AI any better? I think I played it last when they had a new AI system they bragged about, and didn't notice it being much better than the original AI.

The only thing I've noticed in patches have been fixes for some things and new vehicles, which I don't really care about.

Is the game much different race and campaign wise over the last 18 months or so?

When I was young I played a bit of GT1, GT2, and GT3, but I missed out on GT4, GT5 and GT6. I came back a few years ago and started playing GT Sport and of course GT7. I've gotten really into it and have every car in GT7 and I've completed almost everything. I'd like to go back and play the older games, but the only consoles I have now are a PS4 Pro and a PS5. What's the best way to play the older Gran Turismo games? Buy a PS3 and/or PS2? Which PS3 revision would be the best to look for? Original backwards compatible edition? Slim? Super Slim? PS2? Now that the online servers are shutdown for the older games, what features will still work? I guess all the DLC is gone?

This was the best Le Mans grind I've ever done. 7 laps with 1 pit. Car ran on fuel 1. No rain and i was able to be 3min ahead of anyone. I found this car build by accident on YouTube. Decided to give it a try and it's my go to now. Fucking love this car.

Basically I have brain damage so my reactions are like .5 seconds delayed so I can’t play any games that require quick movements but I enjoy games with a “coach mode” where I can have fun building but “sim” the actual race. I have an Xbox series S but I posted in the forza Reddit and they said look into GT b spec. I tried but the forums are confusing so I thought I’d ask here for help

1. do you think b spec is what I’m looking for?

2. It looks like they discontinued b spec on the ps3 version?

3. the ps3 is too outdated so you suggest I just buy a ps4?

4. Is there a decent chance b spec is coming back? If so, I don’t mind buying a ps5

So I've been playing this game since a few months after launch, however I only played random lobbies and did a few daily races, but that has been boring for a while now.

So for an A/S driver, what leagues are there that someone can join to have fun on this game?? I'm mostly interested on road cars on 700PP / 800PP or actual GR.3 / GR.2 racing, but I don't know from where I can join leagues or what leagues even exist.

Do you guys have any recommendations for leagues to join to race and have fun with road cars and GR.3s in a championship style?
