i remember years and years ago there was a story told in the show, and i’m about 99% sure it was collin farrell and he said he was staying in an hotel room and the maid was watching him sleep or something and she offered to give him head and he accepted ? did i make this up ? or was it someone else telling the story
I used to listen to the podcast of Graham's various radio shows, but not for a while. Is he back on the radio, or only the TV talk show?
Might not be a birthday episode, but one of the female guests offers to give him a pressie backstage and graham says, sounds like changing and russell crowe says he will give him his pressie that will change his life back again... anybody remember the season and episode please.
I’m catching up on this year’s episodes and just watched S31E18 with Ian McKellen and Michael Sheen. During the Big Red Chair segment, the guest Jim from Devon tells a story about his ‘nice neighbors Luke and Laura’ and their 3YO son; Graham stops Jim and asks ‘Is he very quiet?’ Everyone in the studio falls out laughing.
I can’t figure out why this is funny!
I feel stupid asking here, but not sure where else to ask! Thanks in advance.

Hi there
After many unsuccessful applications, I received two tickets for the GNS. I didn’t realise how binding it was when I applied and put my mum down as the second guest. She’s unable to attend - is it possible to call them up and have the second guest changed to somebody else- a friend of mine? It’ll still be me attending so they’re essentially my plus one
I just wanted somewhere to express how amazing I thought this episode was and am hoping others feel the same. The guests already promised a good one, but it was funny, emotional and thought provoking - and Dame Judi Dench reciting a sonnet?! Somebody pass me the tissues.
I recentry started watching clips from The Graham Norton Show and I’m wondering what’s up with all the naked Barbie dolls on the set in the older episodes?
Hi, I used to love Graham and Maria on Radio 2 and I only just found out he went to Virgin Radio. I joined the site and tuned in today, and there was some woman reading out a very long recipe, which I wasn't interested in. So I left it came back later. And the same bore-fest Recipe crap was on when I came back!
Is that typical of the whole show?!
Or was I unlucky and just tuned in during the only two recipes?!
Thanks
Has he lost it?
For reference, I'm from New Zealand and was wondering how I can watch old episodes of the Graham Norton Show. I was hoping to record some of my favorite episodes in good quality, but I can't seem to find any services online that provide the entire catalogue.
I don't want to settle with just watching episodes on platforms YouTube because they're often in questionable quality and they often have the intros, film and television clips, and live performances cut.
This is a bit of an obscure one but I’m looking for a clip where Graham shows a photo of a man (American I believe) who is holding his dog in an unusual way. In a fake American accent he mimics the man in the photo saying “I love this end of my dog; I love that end of my dog…I love all my dog!!” This has become a running joke in my family and I’d love to find the clip if anyone can help?
My two favorites:
I’ve gotten tickets to be in the live audience filmed tonight. Has anyone been and if so is there a way of finding out the list of guest? Thanks in advance!
So, just watching Graham and I reckon I’m normal, I reckon I know what Will S is about. I know he’s a nice guy. Don’t know Chris and Rosie, but I’m now subscribing. Am I just that age, am I truly suspectable to Friday night TV - it was great ?
I see them in old shows. Don't know what they mean. S14e04 all have them on. What are they for?
“We have just enough time to squeeze in a ‘red chair’. So whooo.. is up first?” Booms Graham Norton’s voice across the studio amongst the cheers.
And as he turns to the monitor that sits on his desk the camera focuses on its screen, revealing a woman smiling from ear to ear, dressed in a casual blouse and a white skirt.
“Oh Heather.” Says Graham Norton. “Guys.” he continues looking over to his guests, “she works for us. And she is definitely not known to be funny.” He continues “Heather darling, what do you even do here?” He asks her with a big laugh, simply employing that British humour.
Heather took it in stride and replied with gumption, “hi guys, I am part of the catering team.” And with a wink she adds, “I know everyone’s poison, including each guest that has come on the show ”. Which got her a loud cheer from the audience.
Even Graham seemed jubilant with her response and asked her to go ahead with her story.
She starts, “I was told last night that Mr Martin Scorsese would be part of the guests for tonight’s show.” She got somewhat of a nod from the esteemed guest and the crowd cheered.
She continues, “ I have been such a huge fan of his work, so I decided to get his attention.” She paused first a moment and let out a nervous laugh, “Ooh I am gonna get fired for this.” She let out slyly from the corner of her mouth.
The crowd cheered and roared. They knew something grand was about to happen. They all felt it.
She blurts out “I sneaked in my boyfriend late last night and had sex on that couch.” pointing to the star studded couch.
Everyone but Martin Scorsese jumped off the couch. Scorsese stayed put. Norton was furious but seeing Scorsese’s eyes still fixated on the girl, he contained himself.
Heather continued, “I am gonna get fired for this but it is definitely with it. To be able to capture one of the greatest story tellers in one of my stories. And for you all to witness the story as it progresses... for you all to be part of.”
The audience cheered, the guests clapped and nodded. And a smile stretched across Scorsese’s face.
She was fired from the job she had loved doing for past few years of her life.
The job that had saved her from the perils of being a young story-teller, on the verge of destitution. The job that had given her the opportunity to have faith in herself once again... and try again.
It seems more apparent with American guests. Super jittery and a bit tense or on edge.
