I just moved to the area and I wanted to know is it a better deal to go for season tickets, or would buying single-game tickets be the smarter choice? Also which section is best to enjoy the game?
Update: Honestly thank you all for insight. I have a better idea if being a ticket season holder it’s worth it for me.
So much seeding hangs in the balance of this last match day
$300 for a nylon jacket? $200 for a quarter zip? Are most Gotham fans flush with cash or is this just how much things cost now? Genuinely asking what people think about these prices. 😰
Is anyone going to the watch parties today? Theres one in Brooklyn and one in FiDi
Too many emails from Gotham lately! I know there are a bunch of games and blah blah blah but it's too many emails
For the summer cup championship match on Friday, does this mean McKenna "Mak" Whitham is able to play in or is that contract up? Same with the other players who joined for this tournament.
Does anyone have any insights on Crystal Dunn?
She’s been on excused personal absence pretty much since the Olympics, and even Sam Mewis was saying on her podcast that she doesn’t know what’s happening…
So obviously I hope Crystal and her family are ok but I would love to have her back for the playoffs!
Went to the game last night for Fan appreciation night and Kelley O’Hara’s send-off. I got an extra hat and koozie if anyone wants.
I would post on BuyNothing but sometimes people on there take things to resell or just stockpile. Wanted to give these to actual fans.
Please message here and I’ll say who I’ll give it to. Obviously someone who’s local.
Just got this email from Ticketmaster that the playoff game at RBA has been scheduled for November 10th at 3pm. Is this a definite? I thought we were waiting still on seeding to be determined by the last game of the season?
Hey y’all! I went to my first game last night and had a phenomenal time. I want to go more… but it was 3.5 hours of driving round trip. 😰
I just wanted to ask some of you all more experienced attendees- would this be a normal commute to/ from western Queens (Astoria?) is this what I should expect attending most weekend games?
I’m well aware of weekend traffic and we left around 2:30 PM. The ETA got longer and longer each way, esp on the way back, which said it was going to be 1hour 25 min and gradually turned into just minutes under 2 hours. There wasn’t even a clear accident or anything, we just crawled along and even accepted a “faster route” twice. I wonder if a Saturday would be better than Sunday.
I saw there is some construction on the GWB perhaps and maybe the March/ April games wouldn’t be as bad as fall weekends. Or I could try to go to the earlier time slots.
[Given the issues with the PATH and some lower back problems I have that make public transit of that distance pretty hard, I don’t really think that’s a better option.]
Shout out to everyone who pulled double duty today and watched Gotham smoke Orlando followed by NY Liberty winning their first championship. What a great day to be a NY/NJ women’s sports fan!! 🦇🏆🗽
Now let’s get another one—go Bats!
My guests just decided to take the PATH with me instead of drive, but I have a free pass for the garage. Let me know if anyone is interested!
Hahahaha we’re in danger
Hi fellow 🦇!
I’m going to my first game tomorrow, will be driving from Queens. Let me know if you have any recommendations for a first time attendee. I will be in section 124.
A little nervous about the driving/ parking situation as I have lower back problems but hopping for the best. I read some about the parking lots, I’ll have cash in case. We will probably get there around 4/4:30, any ideas which lot may have space around then? Any other good things to know? I know small bags only, I called Red Bull to make sure I can bring my Lower back support cushion in and they said it’s okay as long as I tell security it is medical.
Do players ever sign things after the game?
is anyone looking to watch the liberty game after the gotham game on sunday? our group is worried we won’t make it back to brooklyn on time and were thinking of watching near red bull stadium. anyone know of any bars near the stadium that’ll show it?
Tell me all the tricks to get the most out of this membership! We're going to be in section 107.
hey y’all! maybe a long shot but does anyone know anything about utilizing the sensory room at red bull during gotham games beyond what’s available on the RBA website? i emailed RBA and got a prompt and genuinely helpful response that urged me to check in with gotham reps to get more info on how the sensory room operates for gotham games (in the event that it operates differently than during red bulls games.
i reached out by email and absolutely no response from gotham. i’m taking my brother to sunday’s game and the sensory room would make his experience much more enjoyable but idk what to expect since they won’t answer.
any tips are appreciated. GO BATS 🦇
Hey I'm going to the game on Sunday with my mom who had some mobility challenges. Can one purchase parking passes close to the stadium? I know there are lots, I'm just concerned about the distance. Are we able to pull up for a a drop off? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
If players are being called up for international play, how does this factor in with 10/20 match as well as the play offs the first week of November?
Hey everyone,
I was curious as to what the best app might be for all things Gotham that is strictly women’s soccer. I like fotmob and Sofascore but I’d prefer to use an app that’s more specific to WoSo.
PS. I feel like this team is being slept on to go back-to-back rn, thoughts?
Since RBA will be hosting a playoff game, does anyone know when the playoff game days are decided, and how/when tickets for it go on sale for it? I figured with tickets STH will get first option (I’m not one) but I want to try to prepare as early as possible haha
It looked like his red card against Red Stars could have been for leaving the coach’s box and going into the players’ bench area right behind it?
Is that a real, forbidden, red card offense — or was it for something else?
And does he face any consequences for next week against Pride? We’re already going to miss Sonnet!
For those of you who have gotten to meet some of the players, whether after a game or “in the wild”, what were they like? I feel like I’ve heard some things about the veterans not being super interested in meeting fans but I don’t know if that’s true or even who those veterans would be.
It’s always fun seeing pictures of the team and see how the players interact but obviously not all of them are interested/willing to be on the team’s social media. So I’d love some fun stories on the players!
if you were the person behind me in 117 trolling the Bay keeper: ILU and pls sit here every game with us
also idk how you manifested that Sonnett assist but I’m so here for it
I don’t know if staff reads this, but there has to be a better way for New Yorkers than the status quo. It’s more than 10 mins before the train leaves and folks are already shut out of the train and standing on the platform. The next train is in 50 minutes.
There’s so much encouragement to come to games but this is such a blocker. I don’t understand how Gotham (and the Red Bulls) don’t run buses from Newark Penn.
Hi everyone! Basically what the title says. It's my first time at a professional soccer game period, and I'm really excited. Does anyone who's been here have any advice about getting to/into the stadium, what to expect during the game, etc? I'm commuting in on PATH from the city, and I'm currently aiming to get there by 6:30 to give myself some extra time before the game starts if there's any delays.
Also, do they sell merch at the games? I'd love the buy something to support the team, but I've been hoping to get something at the game to avoid shipping costs, lol.
Thank you all so much and go Bats! 🦇🩵
