Hey there, I've been thinking for a while about making candy with flavors inspired on Goth Lifestyle, and I'd like to receive some feedback and ideas for it. My ideas are: Coffee, Cherry, Blackberry, Raspberry, Cranberry, Violet and Rose flavors. Please, drop feel free to drop your ideas or questions. Have a nice day! 🦇
Edit: Thank you all for the ideas, I'm keeping them in my notes. I'm still open for more ideas!
hii,
basically, just wanted to ask if i could wear gothic related items/clothing (mostly pastel goth, i love the creepy cute vibe) even though i dont listen to the music, therefore i dont call myself goth since its music based. is it okay?
I tagged this fashion but I more wanted to ask, is there any Victorian style goths out there? And I'm not just talking about sporting a Victorian dress or black vests and tophats. I'm talking the lifestyle and culture too. Not to sound cliche but the Edgar Allen poe readers and the dark theater enjoyers and fans of the Victorian gothic art and architecture.
It's that time of year where I look at my garden and think "I should really do something about this." I've got overgrown rose bushes and a raised herb garden taken over by thyme. I'd love to give a veggie garden a go again but the squirrels are ruthless around here and already ripped out all my strawberries.
What is your garden like?
I'm thinking of making some goth lamps and sculptures for myself and my friends, but I'm a bit stuck on the design. What are your favorite gothic or Victorian shapes to put around your home?
I'm thinking of Victorian scrollwork and iron fence/sconce embellishments, as well as bats, ravens, abstract swirls and/or spikes, gargoyles, and ominous cloaked figures. Creepy, eerie, yet elegant, but not quite Halloween decor. Show or describe your favorite Gothic shapes or decor items!

I've only seen the first movie. It's weird to me that the sequel seems to completely ditch the goth aspect. Maybe the original is not a "goth movie", but I think that dark edge was crucial to the movie's appeal, even with mainstream audiences. Without it, the Craft becomes just another generic teen horror movie.
Has anyone seen the sequel?
Got lots of OC to post (I like making stuff) but wondering how many people still look here. Leave a comment!
I found this on Amazon but I’m not sure where I should be looking.
Hello everyone, I don't use reddit…well, at all but my purpose for this post is to see if anyone would be willing to participate in an interview about the shift of perspective within the gothic subculture and how it has changed from its more early years. These interviews can be done either through either text or voice (admittedly text would be somewhat prefered because, funny social anxiety -.-). If you have any questions of your own please feel free to ask. As I can't post my socials here, I ask that if you take interest in doing this, you message me through DMs and we go from there. Thank you for your time in reading this and have a good day.
ok so ive been trying to tap into this goth thing for a little while. ive been wanting to do goth makeup w a white base n wear more black, goth clothes. based on comments on other platforms, many say i have to listen to goth music to do so. i have no problem w that, i would just like to listen to other genres as well but idk if i can?? i want to be goth or wtv the right title is but i dont want to fully commit to only wearing black n listening to only goth music n everything else. what do i do? what do i call myself?
edit: im 15 so dont take my ignorance to heart, im learning in a way.
i love the goth style and culture but i cant for the life of me find any good places to shot other then hot topic ig, i was hoping people would give some suggestions on good in person and online places to shop (btw im a guy)

I bought a ticket for the Carpe Noctem Vampire Ball in Melbourne recently, and I'm really excited as I haven't been to a vampire ball before.
I haven't seen any sort of online attendee group for the event, so I'm just trying to gauge how people with more experience with these events feel about this particular vampire ball.
Is anyone here planning to go? And for those that have been to vampire balls before, how do you feel this event's promos compare to other vampire balls you have attended?
Tried posting this to r/goth but got deleted. Just wanted to hear people's thoughts about what being goth means to them in 2024.
looking for social media accounts with lots of dark/gothy houseplant pics and inspo! similar to @theg0thgarden on instagram!!
I bought this from someone selling online, I love it but it needs some TLC. It's a piece for my living room and would like to sit my smaller potted plants and skulls on top. Naturally I was planning on painting it black, changing the handles and doing something to the ornate details to make them pop. Wanted to ask here and get some ideas from the darkly inclined.
Please don't come for me for wanting to change the colour of it. I do appreciate the way it looks now but it's just not my aesthetic and doesn't fit with the rest of my items.
Maybe it's just me but I don't seem to have the greatest luck finding smaller shops to support! Anyone have suggestions beyond Killstar/Disturbia/Amazon or specific recommendations for Etsy shops?
She’s 24 btw so keep that in mind.
