I'm going to Whitby goth weekend on Sunday and I really want to up my game with some pale makeup since I always usually go for my own skin tone, but I'm wondering if anybody has any recs for the base (like foundation, concealer, setting powder, and contour). Even better, is there a way to lighten foundation? I'm already the palest shade, but I want it to be more white! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I recently bought a shirt (the one in the picture) that is a fabric I’ve never owned before, but I’ve seen it a lot in gothic apparel. I was curious if anyone here has experience washing this type of fabric? How should I wash it?

It’s that fake velvet texture and has lots of lace. There were no washing instructions and I’m so afraid of tearing the lace :’)

I’ve been looking for some new goth boots for everyday. I’m avoiding platforms as I’m already tall and don’t want to be taller, but I’m struggling with what styles will look good.

My feet hate the classic doc/combat boot style, so I’ve been looking more at utility as they’re super comfy. But I worry they won’t marry well with the rest of my clothes. Maybe it’s the poly material instead of leather?

While I’ve been in the goth scene music wise for years, I’m still learning how to style myself, as I went years not wearing dresses/skirts/etc. and just wearing jeans and a tshirt, so I still doubt what works well. Especially goth wise, as I’m not an avid makeup person, so I put more focus in my hair, clothes, accessories.

For example, I wear the Hell Bunny Batilda coat as my everyday/winter coat. Since these boots would be everyday, would the mix be weird and should I look at a different style instead?
