Gore, gore and more gore.
Goregrind is the shortbus sibling to grindcore. Only low IQ or medical doctorate allowed, there is no inbetween.

I'm making a project called Septic Shock as it has always been my passion to do vocals and/or bass for anything extreme. I'm using bandlab since it's free. I'm taking inspiration from Organ Failure and Dead Infection, Czech goregrind like Spasm, Ahumado Granujo, and Gutalax, some powerviolence like magrudergrind, and the Noisecore band Sordo (which is the only Noisecore band I listen to.) I'm saving up for a preamp that I can plug into my computer and play bass on but now I'm just using a midi. I'm using a rock band 2 mic for my vocals. How can I try and make goregrind with what I have as of now?
Soooo, the other day I didn't see I had an octave pedal on my wishlist and accidetnally checked my cart with the pedal. I want the pedal, so I'm not canceling it. I'm curious to know if anyone has used an octave pedal for goregrind vocals. If so, what's your input on your experience using it? Right now I'm using a Pitchshifter and a multi effects pedal dry on flanger and sounds utterly disgusting and I love it. Also, noting I do back up vocals on both gore bands I play in, I want to have a different sound than what the vocalist uses so I'm keen on trying different approaches. Cheers yall.
Do you just buy them from the bands/band camps, or do you use discogs or other websites?
guessing they posted something gorey cuz i cant find it it was something like lastdaysofhumanity.gore
Acquaphobia’s vocals are crazy🫧🫧
help
i know a few places like discogs and bandcamps but im wondering if theres any like specific goregrind CD/VINYL/CASETTE stores online or even actual stores.
(ive been a fan of goregrind for a while but just recently got into CD's and shit for it so im a little ignorant and looking for some guidence)
I really want to work on my drumming so I can start making goregrind, gorenoise, gore music in general. I’m just wondering what I can do to get my snare drum to have that higher pitched tone that is so prevalent within the genre. I was initially thinking I could try swapping it for a piccolo snare but I’m not entirely sure if that’ll give me the sound I want
I've been looking for this on YouTube and such, but I can only find it at Bandcamp and it is sold out. I fking love this album and I just want to be able to listen to it https://behindthemountain.bandcamp.com/album/wide-opened-thoraco-abdominal-tract-bathed-in-hecatombic-concoctions
How do you make goregrind, like I tried but it wasn’t good and I fell I’m missing something
It may not be the most goriest album cover ever, but it definitely is pretty haunting and eerie. It shows a rotten skull, only some brown/black patches of rotten flesh left, with a huge asymmetrical jaw. The skull looks directly to you and lays on some dirt
Does anyone know the origins of this album cover? It was 1993, so maybe a war photography from the Balkan wars (from a mass grave)? This has been my theory always, but I want to find out more

Oink! Here you have my one man passion project (grindcore, goregrind, cybergrind, powerviolence, doomgrind) called POODATOR (Poland) and my latest - first full album - „Resurrectum”. It’s all about religion and shit. A lot of shit and religion. And blasphemy! And zombie Jesus! Hope you’ll have fun! Leave a trace! And I love you 😘
Hi all. Not a big goregrind listener, but I've liked the dozen or so albums I've heard. A lot of it makes me laugh though - the Carcass-style tracknames, the absurdly pitch-shifted vocals, the album art, etc.
This hasn't diminished my enjoyment of the actual music or riffs, but I do wonder how common this kind of response is among proper fans of the genre. I.e. do you find it humorous, or do you take it fairly seriously? TIA.
The list is:
Symphonies of Sickness by Carcass
Teratoma by Viscera Infest
Verrucous Carcinoma by Viscera Infest
Medical Conditions of Grinding Decomposition by Pharmacist
Fijian Holiday by Phyllomedusa
Gore Metal by Exhumed
Apex Profane by Miasmatic Necrosis
Chainsaws Clogged With the Underdeveloped Brain Matter of Xenophobes
Апосепсия by Aposepsy
Final Histopathology Report by Active Stenosis
Thoughts on the list? Personally I think how some of them got there is a little confusing, but for the most part I think they are all pretty fair.
