Hi community, I'm planning to buy a MK1 Karman from 1985. It's a 1.6 with around 245k km on the odo. The car was driven until April this year. The owner says the roof doesn't leak and it was 2 years ago repainted and bodywork fixed. I had an MK1 but 25 years ago. If someone would be helpful to point me about things I should pay attention to. What are the commom problems that I should check?

Got a Mk1 golf 1.4i fuel injection, been struggling with some weird idling problem where it idles really low and if put may extra load on the car like headlights and stuff then it idles even lower. Saw a few posts saying I should check there IAC just wanted to hear anybody else's opinion, thanks :)

Hi, i have a golf mk1 1.5 GLS with about 75hp, i want to get it up to 90 hp or 100, but i cant build a strategy of mods to do that. I would like to keep the engine natural aspirated and carburated do u have any suggestions ?

I just paid a ridiculous amount for an ashtray on eBay. $76 + $23 shipping. In my defense, it's the first ashtray fit my 81 that I've even found for sale. The kind with the lighter inside the flip out lid.
