Has an cartreader for dumping n64 cartridge? I would like to extract my game saves to computer and was thinking maybe there would be somebody wanting to help.

Cartreader are expensive so I can thank with little money or beers.

Remote worker in Ferney Voltaire?

Hi all,

Remote worker for an international org in Geneva. I currently live in Paris and have a work and residence permit for France. I’d like to be closer to Geneva, as I prefer it over Paris and am thinking of moving to Ferney Voltaire to be closer. I know the town is small but I’ve heard good things. Is this something you’d recommend to someone who works remotely? My company will not pay to have me stationed in Geneva so that is not an option. I’m in my mid-30s, single female if that helps in anyway.

What’s with all the firework?

Lately, we’ve been hearing and seeing lots of firework at night, around the Servette area (especially looking towards the Jura mountains).

Anyone know the reason behind that?

Someone in need of a nanny/ babysitter ?

Dear parents,

I've been a qualified childcare provider for the past ten years, and I can offer you childcare in your home.

Whether it's for a one-off evening out or more regular childcare, don't hesitate to contact me. I can also take care of your children's journeys to and from school or nursery. I always offer age-appropriate activities, and have many recommendations.

I am available every afternoon from 3pm, (except Mondays) as well as weekends (day and evening).

Thank you for your attention.

Chers parents,

Need urgent details about Glacier 3000

Hey guys I am planning to visit Glacier 3000 shortly and I had lots of questions. It would be really helpful if someone could help me.

• How do I get there? Can I travel through my transport pass or do I need to book a special bus? • Is there any entry cost, if yes then how much? • Best ways to book activities? Where can I book activities at the cheapest rate- online or offline? • Best timings of the day to travel there? • Lastly, how much time will I need to spend to cover the entire place?

Looking for a colocation

Hello, I am a 15 yo girl and i'm looking for a coloration in Romandy (preferably)

I will pay a pension, to discuss in private if you are interested

I speak French, English, and a bit of Russian, I don't smoke, nor do I drink, but I don't mind people who do at all

I am looking for a coloration with people approximately my age (15-27)

I am kind and polite and I just want somewhere to live, I can fairly help with domestic tasks, like cleaning, cooking and other

I am currently looking for an apprenticeship and I would come back to my family apartment every weekend, so I'd be there 5 days a week and I wouldn't be much inside, I hike a lot and I am socially engaged

I'd like preferably in Fribourg, Vaud, Valais, Genève, Jura (including Bern-occupied South of Jura) or even Ticino, as I am open to learning Italian, but rather not because it's hard to find an apprenticeship in a language that I don't speak.

Please tell me in comments if you are interested!

Dietologist raccomendation

My family doctor is not really helpful in this unfortunately, or I don't know if it's not in their scope to do so.

I always had a kind of bad relationship with food. I eat just cause the food is in front of me. Bread at the restaurant table? I'll finish it all just cause it's there's, even if I'm gluten intolerant. Finish everybody plate. Eat when nervous.

Thanks God I do lot of movement and perhaps a decent metabolism, so Im not fat by any means.

Though I know this is not healthy, and therefore I'm looking for a dietologist or a hypno-therapy dietologist, if this is even a thing.

GVA Google map reviews are unexisting and so it's always tough to find a good one If not through people words of mouth.

Early morning street cleaners

Does anyone get disturbed by the early morning street cleaning in Geneva? Don’t get me wrong I am happy that the town is kept nice and tidy but do they have to start at 5.30am with those super loud mini trucks ? The entire neighbourhood is silent apart from this idiot circling my apartment block in eaux vives over and over again… it seems to happen every Saturday and Sunday morning 😡

I wanna buy some clothes, where it’s better to do?

Hi everyone, I am new to Geneve and Europe itself, so I would like to ask you, where it’s better and cheaper to buy clothes? Like what shops in Geneve, or is it better to wait a little and do shopping in Italy?(just planning to visit my friend soon). I don’t wanna buy sporty clothes, some casual ones for winter

Traffic light faults across city

Why are so many traffic lights out right now?

The lights have been out for a couple of weeks at various spots on the route de chancy in lancy/onex/bernex and the last few days at the intersection of the quai de mont blanc and the pont du mont blanc with traffic controllers in place.

That last one’s a collision waiting to happen in the evening rush with one person controlling that entire complicated intersection with no concern for pedestrians or bikes that are forced to dodge cars in the dark. Not to mention that jams being worse than normal because already abysmal traffic light timing is now completely absent.

There are always people working on the signal boxes in lancy but nothing changes from day to day.

3ème pilier ou pas

Hello dear redditors, I wanted to just have your (surely vary varied) opinion on the 3ème pilier. I wanted to open mine at my local bank (BCGE) but I heard many people being discouraged by the increasing taxes on it and now I'm stuck... is it really worth it to open one? I would love to hear your opinion / experience.

For a bit more of context: exapts living in Geneva since 6 years, in my 30s.

Thank you everyone for any insights!

Intellectual Plans Geneva

Hello everyone! I live close to Geneva and I work in a school. I am 24 F, and I don't have many friends and would like to meet some people that do intellectual plans, like going to university conferences, book cafés where people debate or talk about interesting topics... because my circle is not like this at the moment. Do you know how can I join university events, or art gallery events where I can actually talk to people and have interesting conversations about culture, history, art, science...?

Proper winter clothes - where to buy?

I moved to Geneva recently with kids and it's my first time living in a cold country. For now we get by with loads of layers, but I was wondering if it would be worth it investing in proper winter jackets. Where does one find high quality ones and what brands or types should I be looking for?

Why do the regies ask how big / how expensive your current apartment is?

Question in the title, pretty much. I've been applying to apartments and I notice they always want to know the number of rooms in your current apartment and how much you're paying in rent. Is there a reason behind this? I feel like I might be getting screwed because I'm staying in an (overpriced) airbnb, and so my application looks weird.

I make a good salary and have a long contract but I've been rejected from the last ten flats I've applied to, so just trying to figure out what aspects of my packet may be making me "unattractive."

Where to buy cheap makeup?

It’s just for a Halloween costume so I don’t care if it’s good as long as it’s safe to use.
