Attending a wedding at Rocklea Farm & looking for accommodation recommendations for 8+ people (only one couple). Ideally after something nice w a pool & not too far from wedding venue, but needs to be in a chill neighbourhood/away from neighbours, so we don’t have to go indoors & can enjoy ourselves without worrying about getting reported to noise control. A lot of the places seem to have curfews on the pool use, “quiet times”, no outdoor music etc. While everyone is mid thirties, when the guys get together without their partners they regress to their teenage years.

Was walking past with our dog today before cadel evans starts and saw a lifeguard and a group of people running up with them to the dive tower where someone was pulled out of the water, apparently an older man who may have had a stroke and wasn't moving when I asked one of the women who ran up with them.

Ambulances rocked up with a trolley but weren't running over so I'm wondering whether they were too late or not.

Anyone happen to see what happened and have any idea if he's alright?
