Hi guys n gals,
Not sure if this is the right place to post it but...
I have some Rokit KRK RP5 G3's - 2 years old. Never had a problem with them. Use them everyday and suddenly notice a loss of power in the low end in both monitors. I checked them alongside a friends KRK 5's and also some similar JBL speakers. The difference was very clear.
They're still under warranty so I sent them back to where I bought them from, who in turn send it to the manufacturer for checking.
They're sending them back to meafter having found no problem with them.
I don't want to presume that I know more than KRK do about their own monitors, but I sit in front of these things most days and I know when they aren't sounding right.
I've been told that if the problem occurs again to send them a video. Now I'm not sure how accurately I can capture the low end sound issues of the monitors with a video. Does anyone know of any method of testing that I could use to give them concrete proof that this is a problem?
Thanks!
