r/ImaginaryGatekeeping — when someone thinks it’s Gatekeeping, but probably isn’t.
"satire" posts are only allowed on the weekend and must have a satire flair. Posts that are not appropriately flared or not at the appropriate time will be reported and removed. Whether or not something is satire is up to the mods' discretion.
No identifying information - Censor out usernames, identifying information, (faces, phone numbers etc.). You may post faces from public officials in publically available photographs. Do not link or ask for the personal information of anyone featured on /r/gatekeeping. Anyone who engages in doxxing will be banned immediately and reported to the Reddit admins.
Gatekeeping-related content only - The post should at least be somewhat related to gatekeeping. We’ll allow some leniency here, but low effort posts won’t be tolerated. Also, keep it PG-17.
Keep comments civil. Bigotry, misogyny, hate speech and personal attacks will be removed. Disagreement is definitely allowed, just stay civil.
All posts are expected to be of solid quality. No low effort/poor quality posts will be allowed.
Refrain from re-posting, posts from the top 25 or from the last 3 months may be removed, frequent offenders will be banned.
You can only appeal bans through our APPEAL PROCESS. Failure to do so will result in loss of the right to appeal and/or a permanent ban.

posted something on r/battlestations, and my post got removed bc it wasnt a full battle station? idk, am i being dumb or does this seem like its gatekeeping slightly
