Has anyone reserved Poppy Playtime triple pack and it not show up on release? Had this reserved so me and the kids could play it on Halloween night on the PS5 and Gamestop didn't come through. Told me it was still in transit and had no idea when it would be delivered.

Okay, I ordered the Dragon Age Veilguard Deluxe Edition for PS5 on Monday and paid in full. I thought since I ordered it a few days ago, it would come out and I would get it. I went to the GameStop store and was told it did not come in that day. I asked if they knew when it should come in, and they said no, maybe in a few days. They said they get game orders every day. So, are there certain days they get game orders?

Has anyone’s status for online orders moved from Pending yet? I assume it goes pending to shipped?

Asking because I paid by GC (which in calling the number on the card shows I have a full balance so I think I’m good there…)

I ordered a PSN Gift card online from Gamestop.ca for about 100CAD. Anyone has any idea how long it takes for them to get me the code? It’s already been 2 hours since I ordered the gift card online.

I just had someone come in asking me about our PSA submission process. I broke it down all the way from the Card Saver/Penny sleeves to the KOng app to the payment process etc , and then I explained with PSA there is an upcharge fee if the card gets graded at higher value. After explaining everything, the customer revealed to me that they were just an incognito rival card shop owner trying to see what services we were offering as opposed to the PSA submissions that they do. This guy claimed that he does his own PSA submissions through his card shop, and that the Upgrade fee isn't a thing, and that GameStop is basically ripping people off charging the upgrade fees, not PSA.

I thought GameStop was just acting as the middle man and all this stuff was PSA's fees. Are we getting some dough? I thought our purpose of doing it was to try to buy back people's cards. If our rates for upcharge fee aren't a PSA thing, I guess that makes sense?, we make money out of it?? But...surely it's not.

I have 0 experience with PSA outside of Gamestop. I only know the GameStop side of it. Does anyone know if PSA upgrade fees are a normal thing? I mean the guy claimed to own a card shop. Surely they know wtf they're talking about 🤷‍♂️.

So recently I had a couple walk in and ask me a bunch of questions pertaining to what everything is on the back of an xb1 S model, at first it was easy for me to explain we have a power input, HDMI in and HDMI out, and a Lan, but then they go and ask me what these 2 things on the far end are and honestly, I have no fucking clue. I've been with this company for 10+ years, I've sold easily over 1,000 of these units since their launch, and this was the first time someone asked me what this is for.

Firstly, There's a QR code on the back, which I first assumed links to Xbox to set up the console or download the app, similar to the QR that shows up during setup process; it does not. It actually doesn't link to anything. That's probably because the Xb1 S is an outdated console, but even still, what was its purpose!? I had to tell the customer to call Xbox for that answer. Even my quick Google searches have nothing on it. Anyone know what that's for?

The 2nd curiosity is the little hole above the SERIAL number. Why TF is there a hole there? What is that for? It's on all of the models btw even the XbX. I read the print around it but it doesn't seem to indicate what that's for. it doesn't look like a type of cable connects to it either it's just a hole. Again Google searches have nothing on it from what I've searched. My wildest guess is that it's for a (sold separately) stand and locks the stand in place??? 🤷‍♂️ But why does the Xbx have one? That model comes with the stand attached already on the side and still has this similar hole on the back of it.

The customer was pretty disappointed that I didn't have the answer and while I explained to them I just sell the things, it is bothering me to know wtf it is now

Can I sell a graphics card at GameStop?

Would GameStop still buy my Xbox series x if this screw is exposed? I read it doesn’t void warranty to open your system to clean it, which is why mine is exposed. Bought it in July of 2022 and opened it once to clean it about a year ago.

I have a ps5 slim that i bought as a disc version. However I am upgrading to a ps5 pro so I am keeping the disc drive and want to trade in my slim you gamestop.

I wanted to ask if I can trade it in as a slim digital and can I trade it in with a different colored digital cover? I had bought a sterling silver faceplate for the slim so I wanted to put back the white faceplate it came with but put on the sterling silver digital cover as I don't have a white digital cover.

Curious how early they get shipped to stores. My preorder is secure but always get concerned with GameStop and its stock/arrivals. When I preordered PS5 at launch my store legit didn’t get their shipment until right before they opened that morning.

I ask this, because I made sure to leave work 2 hours early (I work in Mt. Juliet, TN) to allow myself to get to GameStop (Smyrna, TN) since traffic gets horrendous in the afternoons. I wanted to get there, so I can pick up my preorder. When I got there, I saw instead of closing at 8pm like it says online, they ended up closing at 5pm for Halloween. When I got there, it was 5:15pm. Is closing early on Halloween normal, or did they just feel like doing this? How long do they usually hold preorders for after they release? For context, the game is Dragon Age: Veilguard. It released today. I really don’t want to try again tomorrow only to find out I have wasted another trip!

So maybe 2 weeks ago I purchased a pre-owned PS5. When I got home I immediately noticed the aux port on the controller didn't work. I didn't have a chance to bring it in for a replacement until about 3 days later. We'll, after having the "new" controller they gave me, suddenly a slight stick drift has appeared in the right control stick. It's completely random but with certain movements the controller thinks I'm looking up. I take care of my equipment. I haven't dropped it or spilled anything on it so this is the second time I have been given a faulty piece of hardware. Now the main issue is just a couple days ago I threw away the receipt thinking I wouldn't need it anymore. I've read I can check my purchase history through pro rewards or whatever but I'm not seeing where that would be. Not only that but the website is claiming I don't have pro which is strange because I bought the PS5 and traded in a console last weekish I was informed in store that I have pro and was given the pro bonus. I'm getting pretty pissed off at this point because this is the second time I was given a broken controller and now when I'm trying to salvage the situation by checking purchase history the website is claiming I don't have pro. Is there any solution to this? I know for a fact the employees will recognize me so they will know I came in and bought the ps5, returned the first controller and traded in a console.

If I make multiple accounts and bought the pro membership so I would get $5 a month. Am I allowed to do that? Like I could make multiple emails to use. I mean it’s not cheating the system is it if I’m paying for it.

I made the (what looks like) common mistake of thinking Refurbished consoles would be a more secure purchasing option than a Preowned Console at Gamestop. Unfortunately at the time of me making this post, there isn't a preowned version of the console I'm wanting so I can't simply cancel and reorder unless I go elsewhere and spend a lot more money. I DID pay for a two year warranty preemptively since I'm buying this as a Christmas present for my partner. It's for the Zelda Wii U console incase that impacts anything.

If, when the console arrives, it's missing anything such as cords/sensor bars/etc, is that an issue I would have to take up with warranty or would I need to take the item into my local Gamestop and have them resolve the issue?

In addition, since it's refurbished, if this is a console that did not get the proper attention it was meant to get (such as a scratched screen or any damage to the game pad), is my warranty void because the damage was "preexisting" even if I was under the impression I'd be getting a repaired console? When I look on the actual gamestop website it states that Refurbished consoles go through extra repair steps to be ready for sale, so am I entitled to a replacement if the console ends up arriving in poor condition that doesn't require me to purchase a new warranty?
