Does any one still use base meshes or models ?

I was trying to get into selling cheap base meshes and different styles and sizes but seems like every one wants ready made models and animated but I feel that if I were to create the whole process from start to finish Concept to animation. the time spent nobody ever wants to pay the 40 hour work week for one character so I didn’t think it was viable any more.

I’m a creative writer who has been exploring writing for video games for a while. I’ve worked on an educational video game for kids based on Sinbad’s adventures, and I am currently a narrative designer on an indie game project!

My passion for creating characters and developing geopolitical contexts for fictional worlds knows no bounds. I’ve enjoyed and learned from countless video games, movies, books, TV shows — you name it! Some of my favorite video games include *Vampire Survivors*, *Death Stranding*, *Death and Taxes*, *Portal*, and *The Stanley Parable*. I truly believe that gaming is a wonderful medium for storytelling.

I find great inspiration in the work of Supergiant Games; the writing in *Hades* has particularly influenced my approach.

We are looking for someone to fix the rig of a model.

The model was created in Blender and is being used in Unreal Engine.

In the model there are issues with the knees and fingers.

Hi there, I'm looking for someone who I can work with to create 3D models of drones using just images, and dimensions we find online. Here's an example of a drone I'd like to model:

For each drone we'll likely be able to find plenty of pictures online, and also the rough dimensions. For the drone in the image above, it is the AeroVironment RQ-20A Puma, and the spec sheet is here: https://www.avinc.com/images/uploads/product_docs/PumaAE_Datasheet_Web_v1.2.pdf

The output will be both the mesh and the texture, i.e. it should be a photorealistic version of the drone.

Hi everyone!

Is there another sub similar to this one but focused on finding or providing programming work? This one is chock full of artists and musicians peddling their skils (which is awesome), but in the week or two since I found this sub I haven't seen anything about technical roles. I assume some teams are looking for programmers, and some programmers are looking for projects, so maybe they are all hanging out somewhere else?
