As the title says, my City of Beats key was revoked moments ago. My copy came from Fanatical's BYO Play as you Go bundle from last year. Has anyone else been hit with a revocation message, or otherwise know what's going on?

Update: False alarm! It seems that unreleased games do indeed disappear from family sharing, but they return to family sharing after release. Apparently, this is done to prevent players from abusing early access or something like that.

You can track the update history via SteamDB and see that the changes happened on September 4nd: Changed Categories Removed Family Sharing. Valve has made no announcements but it seems that Family Sharing will be is disabled in every new game by default.

I believe this was about a week ago, hard to tell with Groupees chat. Obviously the "end of the month" has passed since then, but servers could still go down at any time.

Edit: An ex-Groupee let me know that hovering over the chat timestamps lets you see the full date, so JonnyC posted those messages on Aug 21.

For the past few weeks Indiegala has had the the game Undernaughts on sale for 75% off, but every time I've tried to purchase a key Indiegala tells me that it's out of stock. What's weird to me is that every time the sale ends it's extended by a few days but it's never restocked. Is this standard practice for Indiegala?

I was just logging into Gamersgate for the first time in ages. They claimed my password had "expired" and had to set up a new one using the "forgot my password" system. I did this, and they sent me my new password BY EMAIL IN PLAIN TEXT! Has the Gamersgate website been compromised or is their IT and security department living in 1999? EDIT - OK according to most people here that know a lot more about IT and security than me, it's no big deal and most companies are fine with doing this. I'll contact https://plaintextoffenders.com and let them know it's time to retire their site.

EDIT 2 - Ok, just to demonstrate how bizarre most responders takes on this issue are, I checked on the plaintextoffenders.com site and Gamersgate.com had actually been reported years ago on 2018-04-28 08:30:07 GMT. So this is an old, known issue that the company never bothered to fix for at least 6 years. Remind me to never ask on Reddit for website security advice! I'm not sure if this is some concerted effort from interested parties to sow disinformation or what! Maybe the incredibly dangerous, uninformed excuses seem convincing and authoritative to the average non-expert?

Overall a pretty good month

The most recent post for Nuuvem is a month old and it seems to have disappeared from the list of site filters. Did I miss something? Is it no longer considered legit?

FWIW, I was looking at Torment: Tides of Numenera on there (I won't link in case the mods are against that site). I'm in the US and it's priced in USD and says it'll activate "Across the globe, except South America and Europe."

Update: Not even close this time. Only one title correct.
