I have S21+ which I bought 3-4 years ago it started to go get slow a bit, Internet app freezes with me, screenshots don't happen immediately they are late by seconds, battery drains fast. Does anyone else have those kind of issues?
My phone has created 5 "sleep" schedules. I haven't created any of them to my knowledge. I have them all turned off, but they constantly turn on anyways and put my phone on DND nearly 100% of the time. I'm unable to delete any of them... even when I tap+hold one, there's no option to delete. I have no modes, no routines, nothing.
How can I get rid of these schedules? Is it even possible? I feel like I've tried everything and I can't find this issue replicated online anywhere.
(Note: as a former S21 owner, I’m like 98% certain that the answer to this question is “yes the app can be safely removed” but after all the recent technological developments in the last few years, I’d like to ask someone who is hands-on)
I have a friend who has a Galaxy S21 5G, and prefers the Samsung Messaging app. Frequently she gets the “Google Messages is now your default messaging app” screen, with the choices of opening Google Messages or Continue with Samsung Messages. She’s asking me how to stop the message. I let her know that she can always delete the Google Messages app, but she told me she’s worried about that deleting all her messages.
Please reassure me (and her) that removing the Google Messages app will not delete her messages.
So, my phone is naked and was gonna buy a case, but no-one sells for the s21 anymore i guess, so i was wondering if an s24+ would fit on an s21+ ?
I'm wondering where exactly the storage module is located on the inside of a normal S21. I want to mess around and see if I can't find a way to swap it with one that has more storage.
So I can silent my texts all together but I don't want to do that..I want my ringtone on so I don't miss calls, but I still want my phone to vibrate when I get a text. If I silent texts all together I'll get the notification but they won't vibrate. I tried googling it. Either I'm dumb or what google it telling me don't work. Help pleaseeeee
Yes that is a cat font it's catearlymorningcat from the galaxy themes for those who are interested in knowing
I have the S21 FE
I'm looking at refurbished s21 pluses and want to know if there are any differences in the bands, frequencies, antennas between carrier and factory unlocked. I have US Mobile, which uses a few different cell service techs - I don't know how it works - like Google Fi, and I want the most compatibility in hardware.
My options are , Carrier Unlocked 128gb excellent condition or Factory Unlocked 258gb good condition. I already bought the former from amazon, but am thinking I might return it and take some screen scratches for more storage and more frequency bands for cheaper.
I don't know if I chose the right devices to compare on frequencycheck.com There are so many.
Thanks!
My phone was submerged in water for a few seconds. And after I dried things up, all looks fine. Now I noticed that it seems my 3 rear cameras fogginess are coming back! It keeps on coming back even after clearing up. Any fix I can for this?
Recently I've been having miss calls that leave a Voicemail but I'm not able to hear them?
Once left it'll be 20-30 seconds long so i know they've said stuff but it's just silent like it's not working.
The transcribe is also not working.
Any idea?
So I've had my S21 since it was released and last night I suddenly got messages that it could not detect the SIM card. I tried rebooting, pulling the SIM and cleaning the card and the tray...but nothing worked. As kind of a last ditch, I found out I was able to convert to an eSIM. It seemed to have worked and I now have connectivity again...but I'm just wondering if there are any drawbacks to having done this. I wasn't ready to shell out for a new phone just yet. Hoping to wait for the S25 or the OP13 for my next phone. So is there anything wrong with bypassing the SIM card by converting to eSIM?
Hello, im having a problem where my camera on the default 1× won't focus on anything distant, but when I get to anything within 20cm it's perfectly fine? When I zoom to 2× - 30× everything is good and works normal, just the 1× doesn't focus properly. even the 0.5× works fine. What could cause this?
I've cleaned the lenses and as far as I can see there's no scratches or chips etc any help much appreciated
I bought a refurbished S21 on good condition about 8 or 9 months ago give or take. And i have recently noticed the battery is really bad for me. Even with or without heavy use with games itll be at about 40-20 percent by 12 or 1 pm with abojt 2 or 3 hours of screen on time. Also playing music on it makes the device heat up. Im switching to an S22 Ultra hoping to have better battery life at least.
Which is the best gcam version for s21 sd variant?
Hi, I'm planning to buy a US-unlocked Galaxy S21. I was wondering if it supports eSIM from a carrier outside the US?
Thanks.
I have the S21+ Exynos version. The screen was replaced beforehand. The phone does detect the SIM cards, and can connect to Wi-Fi.
The signal strength in the settings says -113 dbm 0 asu. IMEI is okay.
However, there is no service/signal with either SIM and E-SIM on. No emergency calls, either.
I did the *#0011# diagnostics and it had these errors:
MIPI FAIL(7):0x0,0xE,0xC3,0x107 MIPI FAIL(7):0x0,0xE,0xC3,0x107 MIPI FAIL(7):0x0,0xF,0x14,0x1A5 MIPI FAIL(7):0x0,0x9,0xB,0x3C6 MIPI FAIL(7):0x0,0x4,0xB,0x3C6
What do these errors mean? If there is a hardware issue, what do I need to replace? Need help.
Hi i have had this phone for about 11 months i bought it second hand and i had a green line issue in september should i just keep it as a spare phone what should i do it happened after the update in august i am sick and tired of samsung even before i has a note 9 same thing after an update there are no scratches or any marks on the phone never buying samsung again
I've been using minimum optimization since I got the phone but noticed the 3x look horrible until I set the optimization to medium or maximum,so it made me think wich one between those two is better? (Medium or maximum), and if you have noticed any benefits of using any of those, (including maximum with and without scene optimizer)
My Huawei P Smart (2017) with a battery of 3000mah would charge in 2 hours, my S21 claims it will take anywhere between 2h30 (which is reasonable) and 6h30 when the battery is only 1000mah bigger than the Huawei phone, it also frequently reminds me that I'm slow charging my phone. Have they purposely shower my phone to force me to buy a "fast" charger, and but "fast", they just mean one that isn't artifically slowed down.
This wouldn't be an issue if it charges fully during the 8 hours of the night, however on power saving mode where it is meant to charge up to 80% and stay there, it only charges for an hour before hovering, meaning I wake up to a phone at 24%.
I'll get a fast charge now I know they don't all need power bricks, but I'm still annoyed!
Hi, I'm planning to buy the s21 5g second hand online cause it's cheap and still good phone I think can I trust in shoppe? Need some advice or specific shop advice
i installed a cracked version of pizzaboy A but when i try to select a rom folder, it just throws a blank screen, with a 3 dots button, a sorting button and "recents" all at the top
anyone know why?
Been having huge battery problems recently. I can see it drain in real time, like every 10-15 seconds it goes down. It'll go from 70%-44% in the span of 10 minutes. And for no reason, it will suddenly die despite having plenty of battery. I looked at the Battery Care and despite only having used it for a few hours, it'll somehow say 428% battery usage meanwhile all the apps combined only used up less than 30%.
I have checked all the apps, none of them show high usage, It's fully updated, I've reset it multiple times, and none of it has fixed it. At first I thought it could have been due to having a nearly maxed out storage, but I've moved a ton of storage and freed it up, still having the issues.
Gonna have it actually looked at, but wondering if there is an obvious issue I haven't thought of.
I would like to take a few movies with me when we go camping with no cellular connection. I think I can download a Netflix movie and maybe other streaming services, but would like to take several movies. I'm thinking of getting a 256gb drive, maybe a bigger 1tb drive.

I have an S23, currently. Upgraded from S22, and am currently trying to resell that S22, someone offered me some money and a S21, and I am thinking about taking that offer, and using that S21 as a "PS2". unlocking bootloader, rooting, and installing a custom rom, getting a cooler and overclocking slightly.
Is it a good option or should I pass?
Hi guys! Is any body know how to fix software update is interrupting I don't why. The wifi is connected and nothing is running in the background. I have a s21 plus g996u model and I'm stuck with android 13 oneui 5.1 version. My device is cpi version. I don't know why I can't attach a pic 😐
Hello, is there a way to fix this? I bought this 3rd party screen from an online shop; it works like it is supposed and It's amoled too (the top and bottom bezels are a little bit thick, but I don't mind them as long as I can use this beast).
And here it is, the front camera is not aligned (does it affect the camera because it's blurry?) or it has some fingerprints on the camera? because I'm not the one who replaced it.
The reason I bought another screen: the original one has 4 green lines on it. And also, the new one costs 85$ (I don't want to spend a lot on the screen, so yeah)
here's the pic: https://imgur.com/a/ieyYa27
Hello to the community.
The title pretty much says it all.
The phone is not rooted.
Command line tools (such as termux) using ifconfig command doesn't work and tells me the phone needs to be rooted.
Thanks in advance.
So I have been looking for an upgrade for my a15. I am down to getting a refurbished S21 Ultra, or the a55. People are split on what to do, as I want the quality of s21, but most say to go for newness. Will this phone still work even after support ends in 2026? Can I at least get 2 years with no problems out of it?
