Hi guys, I recently just found out that you can mod GTA V on Steam Deck and was wondering what are the best mods for a realistic and fun experience. For example, mods for cars, realistic gun sounds, cops-based content, and overall fun activities like flying. While I understand that the Steam Deck is not as powerful as a fully-fledged PC, I still want to try and see how it goes. Thanks in advance!

Hi all. New to GTA V but not new to modding. I have a weird glitch that I'm not sure is base game related or mod related. Whenever I start a game, there are NPCs spawned at my location, yes even the bank scene at the very beginning, and they start shooting at me and kill me before I can even complete a cut scene. I've installed the standard mods like script hook, resource adjuster, etc. and a few mods to upscale the game like Chromatix, QuantV, NVE, LWE. The only other mods I have are 4K characters and Skysders Enhanced Traffic Experience. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I've been unable to find any kind of mod list for a single player vanilla plus experience. Does anyone know off any good ones that still work today (January 2025)?

i know that getting addonpeds comes with side effects like no special bar for the 3 mcs but i cant access story missions while having a ped on. is this normal or is there a fix? and is there a mod that lets u see the ped while in cutscenes?

Tied both Ls Life and AITG but ls stops working after a while and AITG has a shitty ui. I don't mind it it cost $5 or less.

I'm pretty new to modding and just want to know about all the mods that add the MP cars to SP. Right now I'm using this: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/all-mp-vehicles-in-sp and it does what it says but I'm noticing a lot of duplicate cars, like I have the car variety setting pushed all the way up, but I'll still see like the same exact 3 DLC cars parked next to each other sometimes. Are there any other mods like this? Shit, is this even the mod's problem or is the variety setting just bullshit?

I am pretty new to modding so bear with me.

I started modding gta v on Friday and installed a couple mods like rca, quantv, a car mod, v stancer and a couple of other things that were necessities. Everything was working perfectly. Yesterday I added another vehicle, gta 5.5 and a game config because adding the other vehicle and other mods was causing the game to crash. But now for some reason quantv is having issues and some textures flicker constantly and I have tried messing with the settings but can’t seem to find a fix anywhere. I was going to uninstall quantv and switch over to visualv but unless I can find a fix. If anyone else has had similar issues or knows a fix any info would be appreciated. TIA.

I’m just curious but does anyone know if diving gear can be modded on to a character in GTAV?

F5 would not work even though that’s the proper key. Finally found that holding R1 and pressing X will make the program appear. Do it again and it will disappear.

I am trying to figure out what a spoofer actually does for you. After reading about it, it looks like you may need to make new accounts and buy the games again on different steam accounts or something even with a spoofer.

1.) If you have a spoofer active when the ban happens, do you still need to make a new account?

2.) Do they ban your steam account or your FiveM account, if any?

3.) Even with a spoofer active, do you need to make a new account/buy the game again when you get banned?

I have Simple Trainer which has option to put crew emblem on car. But I have cracked game, can I somehow put emblem in my game to use it on cars ?

The top half of the screen is black it won’t let me post a picture but franklins head goes over it like it’s a layer but everything else is blacked out the bottom of the screen is perfectly fine

I have the following problem: In order for ENB to work in GTA5 along with Reshade and QuantV and NVE installed, you need to enable compatibility mode Windows 7 in the GTA.exe properties, but this, although working, enables new problems, in that mode I have 15 FPS instead of 60, even when I remove ENB completely, so it's not ENB, but that stupid mode that has to be activated. I'm using Windows 11 btw.

Ever since the last scripthookv update, I can’t get the game to load in story mode. If you select story mode, it will begin to load and then immediately crash to desktop after about 30 seconds.

If I remove scripthookv from the GTA V directory it will load up just fine. Any way to fix this?

Hi, as the title suggests, how do I disable the Chaos Mod in-game? The only information I've seen online says to press F7 but this just brings up the character switching menu.

I created a GTA V prefix with lutris on my SD card, runner wine_ge 8-26. Wineconfig windows 7, I installed then dotnet6 (not sure it's relevant), installed vc_redist_x64 from .exe installer (2019) and at this point the game was still crashing when entering story mode. Then installed dotnet48 via winetricks, created shortcut and started with steam and boom! Scripthookvdotnet v3.6 nightly89. Remember too add dinput8 dll override in wineconfig

So,I have the latest gta 5 version and ive installed the latest [-SCRIPTHOOKV from ab site -SHVDN nightly build on github -NVE(natural vision evolved) with some packages that were included in the mod(new textures,new sounds,lights and game sounds) -RDE(the mod that overhauls the basic police system and adds new things) aand it's all,i can enter in any savefile but there are 2 problems.] The first one if I start a game,i get the infinite loading screen(the one when you first start GTA 5) and if I load a save like (1.6% completed) i go to simeon mission but halfway the dialogue he freezes and the icon of the mission disappears and I don't even know what to do anymore. Anyone got any tips or fixes (i changed the name of the mod folder and the game LOADED a new game to the prologue) any fix or tips?

I recently got back into playing gtav after about a 1 year break. I'm not up to date on many of the current mods out there. I have NVE,menyoo trainer & mp vehicle spawner. Allot of the mods I try simply don't work with the new script hook .net. I tried the sp apartment/garage mod, Benny's auto and a few other ones.

I recently installed the latest 5real on a fresh install of gtav. When I launch the game I get memory error...
