Rules for posting your Crew:
All Crew Posts are reviewed before being approved. Think of it as an application. Use one of the existing posts as an example of the format we're looking for and stick to it. Players are looking for this info when they choose to apply or join you.
Please make the time to answer interview questions honestly. This will help us to determine whether to list you. If we find that you've been untruthful in your answers, we reserve the right to remove your listing or ban your crew permanently.
This subreddit exists to help players find the best crew for them as well as to help crews get in touch with quality recruits. If your crew is good enough to make the cut, it's worth talking about. Please include your endorsement from /r/GTAOCrews on your own subreddit or website!
Players, upvote the crews with which you've had good experience, as a member, an ally, or just when you've been in-world with them. This will help ensure that the best crews rise to the top of our listings. At the same time, make sure that you're choosing to apply to the crew or crews who best matches your play style and desires.
No derogatory comments about rival crews, please. If you have a complaint about one of the crews in our listings, please take it up first privately with that crew's leadership and then with moderators of /r/GTAOCrews. It's easy to have a misunderstanding, but even easier to resolve them through conversation. We aim to keep the discussion positive, but honest.
If you have a dispute, or if a listed or prospective crew has caused issues, please inform our moderators. We will review your message and judge fairly but appropriately to ensure the integrity of our listings.
Each crew may have ONE posting. You may edit your post as time goes on, but do not apply for listing if you have an active one already. If you have more than one crew or sub-crews on different hardware (at this time, XBox and PS3), you may opt to apply together or separately.
If you apply and do not get listed, you may message our moderators to ask for a review and/or reasons. You may reapply as often as you'd like, but only one active application at a time will be considered.
Moderators decisions are final. Arguing and/or abuse will result in a ban from this subreddit.
Feel free to suggest guidelines for interviewing prospective crews.

GYBB is a sister crew to Got Yer Back Bro XBL (also GYBB, but on the XBox platform). We are a carefully maintained, democratically run, and active crew of over 350 dedicated members on PS3 and over 500 readers on our subreddit. We are looking for active, clean, and mature players (preferably with mics) to help grow our tight-knit but welcoming group of players.
Mission/Philosophy: GYBB is here to be the chill, helpful crew...griefers will not be tolerated. If someone is bringing the grief, we help out...especially crew mates; but when the shooters get the picture and run, we let 'em go. That's our core ethos: be cool and have fun...but if someone else shoots first, make 'em wish they hadn't.
Platforms: PS3, with a sister crew on XBox.
Requirements: We ask that our members join us on Reddit, that they're mature people, and that they change their Social Club privacy settings to share their PSN ID with Crew and Friends. While we do not set it as a requirement, we generally look for new recruits to be 18 or older, but we have a member or two as young as 12 years of age.

Welcome to GTA:O Crews!
Grand Theft Auto Online players, if you're looking for a crew, you've come to the right place. Below, you'll find information for the best, most active, and most helpful crews in all of the great state of San Andreas, from Los Santos to Paleto Bay.
Crews, the players who are here represent the most active, and by virtue of being on Reddit, the brightest and best-looking players in the game. If your crew makes the cut, you'll see your membership rise with people who will be real assets, active players, and true partners in crime!
What makes our listings different? Simply, not every crew that wants to recruit here will make the cut. To recruit from the best players, you have to show us you're one of the best crews. We have a three-step interview process for crews before you can list here:
You need to have a clearly stated mission. Players need to know who you are and why your crew is special. (See the format guidelines for posts below).
We will research your players and interview your leaders. We want to ensure that you're the type of crew we hope to promote. We actively try to weed out griefers and cheaters, and we want to make sure that our assessments are valid, fair and accurate. Working with us to prove why your crew is amazing and belongs in our listings will benefit all players--even the ones who choose other crews--by making the game a better experience overall.
We will look to our community for endorsements of your crew. We recognize that there's a difference between being good at fighting and being a griefer, and that statistics don't always tell the whole story. Crews who manage to earn their listing here have a lot of eyes on the street, and if they have bad experiences, we hear about them in the approval process.
The result of this process is that players can be assured that crews in our listings are good choices for their next crew, and crews will know that the recruits who come to them understand what they're all about before they apply, get accepted, and find that they're not a good fit. Ultimately, it's a collective effort to improve the game overall, and volunteers to help are always most welcome!
Crew Posting Title Format:
Title: Should be in this format: Crew Name (Crew Tag): [Console(s)] No embellishment, no other headlines here.
Crew Posting Body Format:
Crew Name
Headline: The "hook" to get them to read your listing.
Mission/Philosophy: State who you are, what you do, and why you do it.
Platforms: PS3, XBox, etc.
Requirements: Anything that your crew requires of new recruits, from requesting an invitation to joining Reddit, from filling out a spreadsheet to offering a goat, including age, mic, etc.

Social Club Page, Subreddit, Website, YouTube channel, videos, etc.
Contacts:
Generally, this will be the person submitting the listing in the first place, but should also include any leaders, commissioners, or people whose endorsement would be helpful in making a decision.
Summary: Any final words or thoughts you'd like the person looking at your crew to consider before joining or moving on to another crew listing.
