Our US-based business is in need of a "Responsible Person" located in the EU to comply with UK regulations. Has anyone used them before? I've been seeing multiple post replies with this recommendation, but I'm not sure if they are bot generated.
When inventory is stored in USA states for FBA, amazon collects and remits sales tax to every state
But is there a need to register into the states to either file sales tax returns or corporate income tax returns?
Do you check this individually for every state? what are the rules for each?
or is everything covered by FBA in terms of State income tax, and sales tax?
Anyone have recs for who to hire (VA, etc) or a platform for hiring and working with influencers? This is by far the best form of advertising for my brand and I don't have the time to do it myself right now.
My new brand is still small so I'm not looking for expensive monthly contracts w a big agency or platform yet. Anyone have experience with this on a smaller level? Would appreciate any advice! TIA
I cant seem to add a EU Reponsible Person under the whole product compliance and GPSR thing. Whenever i try to add a Person or Manufacturer information it doesnt seem to save and just resets and deletes everything.
Do any of you guys have this issue? With the upcoming GPSR laws this is becoming and increasingly pressing issue.

I'm really new to Amazon FBA game and I'm looking to hire a 3rd party inspection agency. Has anyone heard of AQI Service? They're a 3rd party inspection service that I found online, but I haven't been able to find any reviews on them. If you have used them for pre-inspection, what has been your experience with them?
I just noticed that this month some of my returns are not being returned to inventory for resale, or returned to Unfulfillable Inventory for me to get sent back.
2 items were listed as defective and 2 items were listed as customer damaged. The status was listed as "Immediate Disposal", which I assume means that Amazon just disposed of these. Generally I can repackage some items and send it back as used, or resell them on facebook marketplace.
I haven't changed any settings and I have other returns listed as defective or customer damaged and they are put back in my inventory for resale or return back to me. This only started happening November 2024
How can I update this so that none of my returns are not immediately disposed of?
Anyone ever gotten this? The exact verbiage is "Sorry, at this time we don't have space available for your inventory. We are unable to accept your shipment due to capacity limit. Try reducing the shipment volume or try again in 7 days."
Anyone did trademark registry ? I have applied one and got the application which is in pending state but somehow failing to get it done in amazon .
In case you hadn't noticed, if you choose to run Amazon PEDs for BFCM ... the dates are crazy.
If you choose to run a PED for Black Friday, unless you just manually select that Friday as a custom event, when choosing "Black Friday" from the selection, they are requiring the PED run an entire WEEK prior. Similar w/ Cyber Monday.
Why is this? I mean, the obvious reason is they want to do a week of "early access" and claim that "Black Friday"is no longer the Friday after T'Giving, but the week prior ... (maybe because it's so late in the month?) ...
Is there any OFFICIAL rationale here, or what's your best guess?
Checkout the attached screenshots ...
(if you choose Black Friday, your deal runs a full week PRIOR to the traditional Black Friday)
If choose Cyber Monday, they run it the entire weekend ahead of Monday!
We sell lotions, every once in a while a customer will buy bulk jar of one, empty it, and return it with water or baby oil. Amazon usually reimburses it for us because it's all FBA and they accepted the return. Today we got one back with piss in the jar. Is this is cost of doing business on Amazon or do I need to fight harder? SS says no reimbursements now for customer damaged.
This particular customer has purchased one of our SKUs 6 times in the past 2 months. 2 were replacements, one returned with water, one now with piss. Do I call down to the police in this town in Georgia and see if they want to do anything about it?
Hi
I am a first timer FBA seller. I have individual units to package, which will be shipped in a sealed box (4 SKUs per box).
For each SKU, is it ok to use a burlap bag (like the picture here) to wrap an individual unit? I would have the barcode on the outside.
If not, what are my options other than a polybag? I am shipping lamps.
Thank you!
Hi all,
Really simple one - is Amazon Vat Calculation Services (VCS) available in Amazon Germany?
I think I remember a few years ago it was discontinued there, but I can’t find anything online and don’t want to get this wrong.
Anyone able to answer yes no on this?
Thank you!!
I'm doing analysis of our portfolio 3 times a week, my assistant gathers data from SellerBoard/SellerCentral/Advertising in one spreadsheet. But it's tedious.
Is everyone doing the same?
What are the tools that could automate gathering data in Excel?
(I'm not looking for BI tools, Excel is just more convenient)
Thanks
Hey guys, launched a new product and improved upon what was disliked by my competitors after reading their bad reviews.
I have 0 reviews but have been running ppc to gain sales velocity so I can have some reviews sprinkled in, as well as had some people buy it/reimburse them for ranking/review reasons. I did 1 PPC sale a couple days ago, 3 PPC sales yesterday and 1 today. I believe they are all from ppc but not positive.
Would you consider this good so far? I know reviews are worth there weight in gold. I’m priced low to get reviews asap. Plan on raising after I have 5+.
Competition average reviews are 4.2, average seller doing 300-450 units a month.
Thanks
If I’ll delete my buyer account, also delete my seller account ? I have my account deactivated since 4 month ago and I don’t found a solution
Estimaters are telling me something sells 200-400 per month, but amz doesn’t even say “sold 50+ last month”
We're working on a DDP delivery with our freight forwarder and they are requesting that our company name be erased from our case labels because 'US customs have been very strict recently in cases where the importer differs from the company shown on the labels'. They say this may result in the cargo being returned to the country of origin. Has anyone experienced anything similar recently? Our main concern is Amazon not accepting the shipment if we send it in like this.
Any insight whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.
I see a lot of people asking questions about vine but I haven't gotten a straightforward answer on this one.
I enrolled 10 color variations in vine, 30 pcs each. I'm not new to vine or amazon but I'm curious if anyone has experience with this. I'm running my own experiment but too impatient for the results.
If you merge two children listings into the parent, will the revoews stop at 30 or will you get all 60 in a matter of time. So far I did two and im at 17 reviews out of 60 pcs claimed. Im dying to know if I can merge them all or not.
BFCM is coming up. I have a couple of best deals scheduled for my SKUs. The fee its pretty high, I think around $1K per deal. Another option is Prime Exclusive Discounts that can be ran throughout the BFCM time period. I've done this before and it felt like almost the same thing but without the high fee. Does anyone know the real substantive difference between the two? I think you get the badge for both?
Go anyplace where FBA sellers hang out, and it seems 95% of the talk is complaining about how difficult things have gotten on Amazon. PPC costs, competition, downward pricing pressure, shrinking margins, you name it.
This naturally extends to sellers, but who else is particularly getting hit hard by this? I've noticed agencies seem to be pushing hard on promotional activities or downsizing. But if you go to bigger agencies Glassdoor profiles, the reviews paint a pretty bleak picture. And all seem to say the same thing. Job posts for VAs or developers seem to have alot more qualified applicants. Trump getting elected with a platform of increased tariffs isnt good news either.
Curious where else you have noticed pressure pop up in the Amazon ecosphere, or thoughts on the current state of the market?
I'm looking at the numbers on my revenue calculator which is in my amazon seller central. (Manage all inventory, estimated fees per unit sold, calculate revenue) Amazon is showing a $3.30 fee discount per unit sold which does not show on sellerboard. I just got sellerboard today. Who's accurate and who's not in this case?
Hi,
I doubt what I sell would leave Australian shores, yet I am paying for Mexico as usual. I have looked, even my sales rep said, I do not know anything about Mexico sales.
does anyone have an up to date way of getting rid of America, Canada & Mexico?
Regards
Narg
Context: I sent in a shipment last month with two SKUs. SKU1 was overcounted by 100 and SKU2 was undercounted by 50.
Problem: I'm super worried that the overcounted SKU will include units from the undercounted SKU, therefore, customers will be receiving the wrong units. I finally raised a case and AMZ basically just told me that I packed it wrong and that they are right. This is impossible because everything was checked. I asked for a bin check but my products are in 80+ different FCs right now, some still in FC transfer. So I doubt bin check will help??
Question: Should I just give up and pray for the best? For the 50 missing units, I'm willing to just take the loss. I'm more worried about customers receiving the wrong thing, but I don't want to make all my units inactive just to resolve an issue that might never be resolved.
I also have another shipment waiting - because my product is good for Valentines Day. But now I'm worried that I should wait...
Any advice is appreciated!!
None of my private label Amazon Canada listings are getting a buy box because:
"Price higher than typical
Amazon strives to offer customers high quality pricing. We have recently seen better prices on Amazon or from other retailers for this product."
Even though I'm literally earning the exact same profit as the product on Amazon Canada. If I choose the "Same as the source market" (not adjusting for fees) option, I'll lose about $4 in margin per product.
I sell a product that has done quite well for the past few years. It was always the first sponsored results on Google for a variety of keywords. But I went out of stock for 2 months and now Amazon's not advertising it on Google anymore.
My product came back into stock about a week ago and I'm buying the top spot on Amazon to pick my sales back up, but they're still about a 1/5th of what they were before they went out of stock. I'm thinking a good chuck of my sales must have come from those Google ads. How long does it usually take for Amazon to start advertising your product again?
I set up a removal request and I believe that is how it is done but was looking for a human to tell me I did this correctly. Have any of y'all done this before?
I have a private label and have a couple thousand units(probably 6 pallets) worth of inventory I need to store for 6 months. Does anyone have any affordable recommendations for warehouses to store goods ??
It’s perishable so don’t think I can do AWD
We've been trying to figure out via SS without any real answers why there is a huge delta of 25% between October Monthly Summary (Reports Repository, All (Unified Reports), Summary for month of October) and business report sales dashboard.
We've been selling for 7+ years and are well aware of small deltas between monthly summary and business report sales, normally sub-5% difference less refunds, cancelled orders, etc.
We're also aware that deferred transactions has changed reporting somewhat, but based on our deferred transactions report - at most - there is only $6K-10K in deferred transactions based on AOV (average order value).
We cannot calculate COGS because we don't have an accurate revenue figure that is based on an X number units sold for the month of October - i.e. October revenue is 75% of actual revenue but we cannot calculate COGS based on 100% of units sold in October. There is no way to partition the # of units sold based on the revenue reported on monthly summary.
Is anyone dealing with this?
I’d like to start selling in the UK. I want to look into the option of using a smaller fulfillment center that might cut costs and have a smaller client base. Any referrals would be appreciated!
