Did anybody hear fireworks or gunshots intermittently this eve/ morning?
Seems like it's coming from down by Lincoln road or maybe a little bit closer to Queens square?
I will admit this post is a clear overreaction to probably something harmless.
Like a dump truck bucket flap smacking the bucket?
Anyways.
Happy Saturday folks.
You're all A+ in my books.
Hello,
I just wanted to let the owner know that a black cat with a white neck was spotted in Lincoln Trail, near College Field.
Hopefully this helps.
Yo.
New to Fredericton and snow in general. (From Australia).
I currently don’t drive as I’m still getting use to driving in the other side of the road but I am hoping that I can either walk or ride a push bike to and from work.
My partner suggested that I could ride when it’s super snowy. It’s only about 2Kms but I’m not sure. Any advice would be great. He can work out the winter ware and etc just more gaging how much snow there is and if it’s feasible to walk/ride
I’ll be in Freddy tomorrow and I was wondering what your recommendation for the best restaurant is. With a combo of amazing food and atmosphere. It is just for my wife and I.
I want to get the jnside of my car cleaned, its been dusty and generally getting dirty and I didn’t have time for maintenance myself for a while. What are the best and cheapest places I could get it cleaned?
Anyone else getting/hearing power surges? We had two about 20 minutes ago when the wind picked up. (Nashwaaksis area).
Does anyone know if you can still get into the Costco food court without showing your membership card? Mine is expired and I have been nervous since they began scanning at the entrance. Anyone know? Thank you!!
Update: Thanks everyone for your confirmation! It’s been too long since I’ve had a Costco hot dog
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about what happened to Parks Noodle & Sushi.
Just called to place an order for pickup and the number is out of service 😭
They had the best salmon maki around
The parking lot at Happy Baker on Dundonald is very clearly marked with Entrance and Exit signs and yet dozens and dozens of cars come in the exit every single day. So many I lose count. It gridlocks the parking lot, makes it harder for cars to pull out of their parking spots, and frequently cuts off pedestrians. Pay attention!!
I'm tired of almost getting hit by people who come in the wrong way, driving way too fast. Someone almost hit my husband two days ago, and then screamed at him for honking at them. It's getting out of hand.
Currently going through a mental health crisis that has been a long time coming… I have diagnosed mental illness in my medical history and can get a referral but I’m having a hard time finding a therapist or counsellor that has direct billing!! Does anybody have recommendations or advice?
Anybody else catch a prominent local realtor/influencer driving around in a police car with a man dressed as a cop - putting on a big show where she comes out of this police car in costume as a prisoner?
…just one province away from the place where a literal mass murderer impersonated an officer in a cop car. Like - I know it’s Halloween but this seems reeeeally dumb?
It appears to be purely for social media? Idk.
How I can get referral for dermatologist? And how long is the wait time ? The wait time relates to severity of the issue?
PS: I don’t have family doctor
I just watched a few of these mountain coaster POV videos today and so wish we had one at O'Dell. Not only fun for everyone (I do find Freddy caters mainly to young families), but something to attract tourism too. Just a dream, but I'm sure others will be true to form & criticize the idea into oblivion.
Been getting into the history of the area and thought this would be an interesting question to ask here
Anyone else getting fucked over by Intelecom/Dragonfly lately? My last THREE orders from Amazon have been automatically refunded because intelecom doesn't seem to be picking up the package at all from the Amazon warehouse or whatever.
My tracking goes from: 2 day prime delivery > Arriving before 8/10pm (but with no tracking details) > We're sorry it's late, Now arriving by (end of the week) > order refunded.
Like what the hell is going on? The first time I called Amazon, they blamed intelecom. I explained that I really needed the package for the 31st for a birthday and they told me they were leaving a note on my account to not ship with them anymore, and to re-order my items. I re-ordered them, but when I checked the shipping this morning, it's being shipped by fucking intelecom.
I called again this morning, Amazon transferred my call to intelecom and they hung up on me after the Amazon guy left the call. I called intelecom back and the guy said they can't help me at all because they never got the package from the warehouse... Yes my guy, that's the problem - Why aren't you getting the package from the warehouse? He just said "Amazon has to send us the package details for it to be in our system, call them back" and hung up on me again.
I really don't know what to do at this point, I just want my goddamed stuff to show up. If this happened once, that would be one thing - but 3 in a row? I'm at my wits end. My re-ordered package is yet again "supposed to be here before 8pm", but I highly doubt I'll see it, especially since the guy on the phone said there was nothing for me in their system.
Moved to Fredericton recently and added my family [wife, baby (2), kid (8)] to the doctor waitlist at NB Health Link. I added myself over a year ago and still haven’t heard anything back…
Bit of a long-shot, but does anyone know of doctor(s) or NP(s) taking patients?
I know there are other ad-hoc medical resources out there, but I’d like to have a steady resource who can get to know my family’s medical history and support us.
Is it normal to be waiting for over a year?
Thanks, A Freddy dude
This just coincides with that little rant about people turning left on Regent to get to the Irving...
I notice a lot of people getting totally stuck trying to turn left out of the Brookside Mall between the Sobeys & Lawtons. It's a tough spot because there's traffic going up and down, then people turning left to get into the mall entrance. You can get stuck there for quite a while waiting for an opening. It baffles me why people don't use the exit near the Service NB, turn right, then use the little traffic circle to go up Brookside. It would be a lot faster. Just a little hint.
I checked dollarama and shoppers, nothin. I'd really rather not drive to walmart just for some frickin paper
Study partner/ body double
Hey, I'm looking for just wants to sit in the same room and get work done together. I have ADHD and am in grad school (distance, not UNB) and struggling to focus. Hoping to meet at the public library or something. Weekdays for a few hours at a time.
Coming down Regent? Turn left onto Prospect and then right into Irving.
Coming from highway 7? Go straight onto Prospect and turn right into Irving
On Prospect going towards highway 7? Turn left in express left lane into Irving
Going up Regent? Obviously turn right into Irving.
I don't understand why people do it (especially everyday at rush hour). You're clogging up the intersection and you trying to squeeze your F-150 in the opposite late to get to a gas station, on one of the busiest streets in Fredericton l, is gunna cause an accident.
That's my rant, happy Tuesday :)
Does anyone have thoughts on what apps to use in the area, or where to meet single women in their 30s?
From north shore near 700 Union
I could have just not noticed last year or maybe my neighbour got a new feeder but I’ve never seen so many blue jays so frequently in my life! anyone else notice or is it just me??
