I need camaraderie! My (our) favorite band was coming to lil Carrboro, NC. To Cat’s Cradle, which is a great indie show spot. I got a hotel room there (there’s a way-better-than-average Hampton Inn and a brew pub that is great all within 20yds of Cat’s Cradle). Recruited 7 friends to come with and bought them tix. No fault of the band… van breaks down from Atlanta. Does some part of my brain conspiracy-theory it out about non-sold-out show? Sure a little. Nah nah. But it’s killing me how every other show has goes on and everyone loves it (as they should)! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (I deleted some h’s, it was worse).
Anybody got the hookup for the dc setlist and or the last two songs they played? Also i wanna add i bought the ticket to listen/watch From Indian Lakes play but dam foxing has turned into one of my favorite bands. What a great performance it was!
Had me teary-eyed multiple times.
Who's the guy that sells merch and then sneaks up on stage and screams backup vocals with the band midway thru the show?
I have been a die hard fan for a long time. My favorite band, attended about 20 shows.
I was hit directly by hurricane Helene, and my town was destroyed. Since then the conditions have been indescribable. 75% of the town is homeless, I lost my entire home and just got electricity and water for the camper I am staying in after 6 weeks without. No septic to camper, and my toilet is in a bathroom with no standing walls and open to the outside. We are quite literally struggling to survive and living in third world conditions.
I have always loved music I can relate to, but this album is triggering. Hearing Hell 99 when it looks like I am living in the apocalypse is unsettling. Been listening to much more melo music like Kacey Musgraves.
I even skipped out on the orlando show after buying tickets pre-storm.
Anyways... I dont know what the point of this post is. Just kind of venting and opening up a conversation. Also wondering if anyone else has ever been in a similar situation.
But sweet baby mogwai, remember how Five Cups made you cry? How The Medic made you question life and cigarette smells? How Bialystok made you Stok Bialy? Yeah, that’s what I’m saying. Where are you right now huh, tearing up and shit?
I got to see them live for the first time at their last show in STL, which was amazing, but didn't have the cash on me to pick up one of the greyhound tshirts.
I love them. Holy shit have I been listening to the Self titled album non stop and I’m obsessed.
What bands / records would you recommend pls?
(For the record, I think the new album is perfect and that's not even my favourite track on there - that'd be Looks Like Nothing - but I'd love to find more catchy, badass, screamy-but-melodic stuff, y'know?)
Didnt even realize he did the screams on Hell 99 until I saw the music video. Is he the band's screamer or does Connor do some too?
Can't make tonight's show due to a last minute conflict :/. Will transfer to whoever wants it!
I accidentally bought a size too large during the SF show 😭 I was wondering if someone could proxy an XL for me. More than happy to throw an additional $20 on top of the tee/shipping for your trouble

hey all - My wife and I were going to fly in from Philly for the St Louis show, but unfortunately work, etc meant we had to cancel our flights. Have two tickets available for sale and can transfer via Ticketmaster. Just trying to get some cash back for the purchases. Asking 35 for the pair! Thanks
SOLD
Does anyone have a full video of Eiffel from Philly last night, or any nights of this tour? That was one of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve ever heard
