Running into hard times this holiday season, need to get rid of some of my collection so I’m looking to get rid of my full holo expansion. Any idea how much those usually go for?
I want the 34 Main characters tattooed and I wanted to ask If theres a way to get the full Art characters without the card overlay somewhere
Half an year ago I collected some questions I was uncertain how those work and I was fortunate that user TroyOfHollow assisted me, its that time again to ask the community about some clarifications.
1)With Handicapped Placecard if my opposition have 0 souls whilst I have one, do that mean that I got +1 dice againts monsters or not?
2)Is Tainted Eden allowed to use Destroyable items in either his turn or off turn item?
3)If Tainted Eden chooses for an example, placenta as his item for the turn and then buys it, does he get value from both or not?
4)For devil deal card, if I get dead cat do I lose 2 deadcat counters or do I lose hp? (This one steered a lot of debate in the friend group I played with)
5)When it comes to characters that receive items in their off turn / before their first turn or like Neondroid Isaac, the one that recharges when someone roles 4, can they use it even if they haven't played yet?
6)Can one buy items mid attack? (Another question that causes arguments in my friend group)
7) Activating bomb when already rolling the dice on 1 hp and dying to it so it you and the monster die?
(Or this other example: If someone is about to kill a monster with an bomb and another player on Gish uses bomb on the player what, following the stack the player fighting dies, but what happens to the monster, does it also die?)
8)With host hat if I about to take an instance of 2 damage, if I active host twice do I negate both damage or not?
9)If roll a 1 during attaack and roll one again and im going to die does ethuanasia procks or not?
10)If it doesnt say on a curse that it the leaves board when someone dies, is it a permanent card now? Ex. Curse of the Hollow, Curse of the Suspicious
11)When a card like credit card an itemm for 0 cents from the shop does the top deck count?
12)When it comes cracked key and an item becoming an additional room, can players override that room aka change it?
13)Found soul interaction with Cereous Peashy, regardless of having an item or two, if I kill Peashy and die at the same time, do I give the found soul to another player or discard it?
Any help will be very much appreciated!
Ordered myself some pins to try my luck once more.....got some luck with the pins AND even got myself the Level One Isaac as well (and some more duplicates) Overall not too bad
Is the ultimate collection big boi box preorder meant to ship before christmas? Been left on confirmed since 13th november :/
First, I want to thank the Binding of Isaac Four Souls team for all that you do. I love the game and community so much and my brother, me and my two cousins have played over 100 rounds of the game. We love the game and the memories we’ve shared.
Now for my disappointment. I recently made a pretty big purchase for The BOI: Four Souls, grabbing 20 items to enhance my collection and that of my 3 family members. 4 of each booster pack and one of each mini figure set (just for me haha). I was planning on giving my family a copy of each pack plus the bonus mystery gifts for Christmas. 11 of the 16 total packs arrived as one was delayed and the other 4 are the anniversary packs yet to ship. One of the things that excited me most was the promise of mystery items with each purchase—it’s always fun to get surprises, right?
Well, imagine my disappointment when 13 of the 15 items that arrived had the exact same mystery gift. To make things worse, one of them didn’t even include a mystery item at all (the 3 figure pack) LOL. I got 13 copies of Birthday cake, 2 Ultra pride/corrupted data, and famine. Only unique set came with the Lost Soul and Pestilence promos.
I understand there’s some randomness involved, but this feels like a serious oversight. Has anyone else had this happen? Did you reach out for support, and if so, how did they handle it? What should i do ;-;
Again I am very appreciative of Maestro Media and the BOI for all they do:’)
Another newbie question here; Trying to organize my box before we play it for the first time. Deckbuilder calls for 23 WildCards.
Does it refer to 23x "? card" or does it just mean 23 general loot cards? Would that be the category for tarot cards?
Finally finished this lol, the drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1gpVu8V4g6Zq7wtNysER7O79LbM6wuDBg
Should the different treasure types be mixed? Is it optional which color treasure you collect?
Already had a promo Lost Soul from last year's mystery gift, but I'm very excited about the Eden and the original Level One Isaac
For example: Player A rolls a Player B plays dice shard Player A plays XIII Death
Does that cancel Player B effect?
I have the misprint of mom's underware, the blue gfuel promo's, and a spare corrupted data. So feel free to hmu if you're interested in a swap, or just to take these off my hands. I DO NOT want any proxies of any kind
Looking for people who wanna trade promos they have dupes or and don't want or maybe $50
So my first observation was that the box was a quarter full. Is this a mistake or just future proofing?
Now when it comes to the cards; The deckbuilder on website. I have to make treasure, monster decks etc as written there? Is it important which cards? E.g. there are way more monster cards than the deckbuilder calls for.
Apologize if i seem ignorant, i was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of different cards :D
Also I have the pestilence shirt, the delirium hoddie and a new one that is with shrooms, pin and isaac
I would like to ask, i recently bought the game, v2 edition requiem, but i would like to know is there any way I can get gold edition cards, like azazel, aws far as i know is on a special adition.
Edit: I made this as an example to help some players understand how priority and other mechanics work.
Priority determines which player can act at any given time. It means that players can potentially respond to events that are occurring in the game, and to each other, even when it is not their turn.
When the rules say that priority passes, priority is first given to the active player, then passed between all other players in turn order. When a player puts a loot, ability, or roll on the stack, priority passes, starting from that player, and then again proceeding in turn order.
While a player has priority, they can take as many (or as few!) actions (e.g. activating an item or playing a loot card) as they want before passing priority to the next player so they have a chance to respond.
When a player has priority, they can activate abilities or play loot cards. In addition, the active player may declare a purchase, declare an attack, or end the turn if they have priority, there is nothing on the stack, and they are in the action phase.
It is only when each player passes priority in succession (i.e. no one wants to do anything else) that the game progresses: whatever is on top of the stack resolves (its effect is carried out), or the game moves to the next step or phase.
Note: There are times when nobody has priority, for example before the Recharge Step at the start of a player’s turn, or after step 1 of the end phase. Players can’t play loot or abilities during these times.
Most of the time it is not necessary to religiously keep track of priority. It is only in more complex situations, for example when multiple players want to respond to the same thing at the same time, that you might need to give it more thought.
Scenario:
Players - 1, 2, and 3 sitting in clockwise order
Active player (Player 1) declares and attack on Dip
Player 1 rolls a 5 (potential hit) that is put on the stack and Priority Passes so before the roll resolves, Player 1 has priority.
Player 1 is gonna hit so they don't do anything extra and PASS priority.
Player 2 chooses to pass priority as well (doing nothing).
Player 3 now has priority and wants to step in. They play Dice Shard (resetting the round of priority, so everyone now has to pass all the way back to Player 3 for something to resolve) to make them reroll the attack, but this is only on the stack still and would resolve in this order:
Dice Shard
Attack Roll (5)
Now, Player 3 played that Dice Shard, but technically still has priority until they are done playing everything they want. They decide to also activate Jawbone to steal 3 pennies from Player 1, but again it's just on the stack for now on top of Dice Shard.
When a player puts a loot, ability, or roll on the stack, priority passes, starting from that player, and then again proceeding in turn order.
Player 3 is done and passes priority.
Player 1 passes priority
Player 2 passes priority
Now the top of the stack (Jawbone) resolves because everyone passed priority for the first time:
Jawbone (resolves and Player 1 gives Player 3, 3 pennies
Dice Shard
Attack Roll (5)
Priority passes each time something resolves.
When the rules say that priority passes, priority is first given to the active player, then passed between all other players in turn order.
Now the Active player (Player 1) has Priority again to do whatever and the stack is left with 2 effects:
Dice Shard
Attack Roll (5)
Player 1 doesn't want to reroll their attack that would hit, so they play Butter Bean to cancel the Dice Shard. Stack looks like this:
Butter Bean
Dice Shard
Attack Roll (5)
Player 1 is done playing effects so they pass priority
Player 2 passes priority again (they are just having fun watching this feud play out)
Player 3 passes as well (don't worry, they have another trick up their sleeve)
Everyone passed, so Butter Bean resolves first on the stack eliminating the Dice Shard effect:
Butter Bean (resolves)
Dice Shard (cancelled from Butter Bean)
Attack Roll (5)
This is now the stack, just the single Attack Roll we started with:
Attack Roll (5)
Active player (Player 1) has priority again. They like the outcome again so they pass priority.
Player 2 passes priority (still enjoying the show).
Player 3 says "nah, this isn't over yet" and activates their Godhead to change the Attack Roll from a 5 (hit) to a 1 (miss), but it's on the stack so everyone has a chance to do something to counter it. The Stack:
Godhead
Attack Roll (5)
Player 3 passes priority
Player 1 admits defeat and passes priority
Player 2 laughs at the outcome and passes as well.
Everyone passed so the top of the stack resolves:
Godhead (resolves making the Attack Roll a 1)
Attack Roll (1)
Something on the stack resolved so again, now Active Player (Player 1) has priority to do anything else with the Attack Roll (only thing on the stack left).
Player 1 passes
Player 2 passes
Player 3 passes
Attack Roll (1) resolves resulting in a miss on Dip.
If the result of the attack roll is less than the target’s evasion, the attacking player misses and combat damage equal to the target’s attack is put on the stack, directed at the attacking player
When a triggered ability’s conditions are met, it is put onto the stack the next time any player would receive priority. If multiple triggered abilities are triggered at once, any abilities controlled by the game (such as triggered abilities on monsters) are put on the stack first in an order decided by the active player. Any abilities controlled by players are put onto the stack next. This happens in turn order, starting from the active player. If any one player controls multiple triggered abilities that trigger at the same time, they get to choose the order those abilities are put onto the stack.
That roll of 1 triggers Player 2's The Relic which will allow them to loot 1 on a roll of 1.
The stack now looks like:
The Relic
Monster Damage
Priority passes starting with active player.
Player 1 (Active Player) passes
Player 2 passes
Player 3 passes
The Relic resolves and Player 2 loots 1.
Priority passes each time something resolves.
Monster Damage is now the only thing in the stack left.
Priority passes starting with Active Player
Player 1 plays Bomb to kill Dip.
The Stack:
Bomb
Dip Combat Damage to Player 1
Player 1 passes Priority
Player 2 passes
Player 3 passes
Bomb resolves killing Dip.
Any unresolved attack rolls and combat damage fizzle when an attack is canceled.
As a result, Player 1 takes no combat damage from the missed attack roll on Dip because Dip died from bomb.
Active Player's turn continues...
I
So lets say i start with priority, then it goes around to everyone. After last player has passed priority. Do i get priority again? If i want to respond to what others did for example
The second ability of club makes CLUB loss all of it's abilities or the canceled card losses all of it's abilities?
