Just seeing if anyone has recent experience working at Sherritt or knows anyone who does. I'm considering applying but the online reviews are either extremely negative or extremely positive.
I know little about the company so any insight would be extremely helpful!
I hated PassioGo with a passion, but it is handy actually seeing where the buses are instead of just going off of the status on Google Maps (or the Transit App if the Fort ever gets it working). There's a website that shows the location of the buses, so I thought I'd pass it on in case there's others here who'd find it useful. There's a lot of visual noise when you open it, since it starts on Edmonton by default. Just scroll to the Fort and you're good to go - as long as the Fort's equipment is working lol
Where is the best place to complain for excessive vehicle noise Edmonton, police or R.C.M.P. in the fort? You know it's noisy when everything in your house shakes from a vehicle from the outside sometimes you can feel it in your skull. We have toddlers that can't sleep because of these noisy vehicles waking up constantly throughout the night, torturing us.
Hey everyone, I’m looking at potential options for a move to Ft. Sask with my family. I’m looking for community feedback on community involvement, feel, places to avoid, etc…
We have elementary and middle school kids presently. I feel like the south side close to the river could be what I’m thinking. If anyone has additional insight I would be grateful for it.
Hello Fort Sask community! I want to share this event that we have at NorQuest College!
NorQuest Heroes is the collegiate esports program at NorQuest College here in downtown Edmonton. NorQuest College has an academic backed athletic esports varsity program for competitive students. NorQuest Heroes takes care of the gaming community at the college by providing gaming and learning opportunities for them and partner with different groups and government agencies surrounding the college in pushing forward the needle for Esports in Edmonton.
One of the fun things that NorQuest Heroes do at the college is host our high school communities at its space. NorQuest Heroes have previously hosted team practices, team buildings, and game night. NorQuest Heroes have even done a $1500 prize pool League of Legends tournament for greater Edmonton area high schools back in Winter 2023.
This year NorQuest Heroes are hosting Campus Clash: Edmonton High School Valorant Invitational*.* This in-person invitational is open to every student currently enrolled in a high school in the greater Edmonton area. Teams can be formed either as a school team, repping your own school, or if you want to team up with other students from different schools that works as well! Registration is free and is open until the 10th of April 2024. The main tournament will be hosted in person at the college on April 26th and 27th.
Prize pool are below:
During the tournament we will also be setting up viewing areas for friends and family to watch and cheer for their teams.
Registration is filling up fast and we can only accommodate a limited number of teams. Come register your teams or let a friend know about this opportunity brought to you by NorQuest College.

Why are they so rude? And they are always shouting at each other in punjabi.
Love Wendy's but I avoid this place so not to deal with the shit staff.
Is that our fault that they paid the Wendy's franchise owner to buy a work permit to come to Canada? So why the attitude?
I'm looking for a plumber to replace poly-b in my condo at a fair price. $8k for 2 days work seams excessive.
Hi.
Potentially moving to Edmonton and was looking at fort Saskatchewan.
Just looking for input of people that have been living there for a while. Is there a place I should avoid while looking for housing ?
How's the town for young kids, parks, activities etc.
How far are you from Edmonton
We've been living in NB for 5 years now, fully bilingual but was wondering if there's any french people living in tow ?
We have two young kids (1 and 3)
Perhaps the people on Facebooks Fort Sask informed group should take a course in Incident Command. They’re deleting EVERY comment about the ongoing situation in the Fort. People are not commenting on police activities as being asked, nor are they breaking the groups rules. Now you’re forcing the community away from trusted areas where pertinent information could be shared annd instead to the fringe areas of social media and rumours can fly.
Hello r/FortSaskatchewan, I am hosting a film event called OneOcean at the downtown Stanley A. Milner library. It's our premier film festival, and it will feature whales, scuba diving, and supported by some great community initiatives. We are a local non-profit that aims to tell the Story of Water, which is a story that starts right here in the icecaps of Alberta's Rockies. We would appreciate your support.

This could controversial, but does anyone else really dislike the water tower design? Crayon stick figures don't really do it for me, personally. I think it's time for an update.
