Off leash dog places

I'm going to be in the regional a few days and I'm looking for a place my dog can run off leash - NOT the dog park!

Hoping to find a beach or grassland or trail where she can run a few miles. I see Noyo Harbor Beach allows dogs off leash, has anyone been there? What's it like? Any other spots you know of?

Thanks.

Second hand jewelry

Hi! I’m looking to buy some second hand 14k+ gold jewelry but I’m not finding a lot on Facebook Marketplace. Is there another website you’d recommend or a well priced shop?

SOCOM Care Opinions

I want to know if anyone has an opinion about the SOCOM Care Coalition/Warrior Care program and if they think they are doing a good job. My experience hasn’t been good and I’m trying to find out if it’s me or if it’s them

Making friends

Why is it so fucking hard to make friends here? It’s like people only wanna talk to me when they need something. Maybe it’s just me though. I just got here a month ago but it already feels like my peers don’t like me or something.

Inexpensive wedding location?

Does anyone of a free/inexpensive wedding location in Fort Bragg? My brother decided to get married in a month during a family reunion we have planned there. The courthouse is in Ukiah and hour away, I figure getting married near the beach may be more fun.

New Albion Bridge Coming

As with most things there are pros and cons. Love the timber but also want an earthquake and flood safe bridge. Thoughts?

Curious what everyone's favorite spot is along the coast and if you have a pic to share showcasing the magic of it.

Crime in the area

Looking over the last few months news headlines shows several crimes where unregistered guns were either used or later confiscated. Has this trend been going on for awhile or is this a recent occurrence? Do you feel it these are just a few people finally getting caught or a more pervasive part of the community?

Title says it. I've been invited to the nine month program at Krenov and plan to stay from July '22 to July '23. Looking for housing online and the options seem to be sparse. If anyone has leads please let me know!

Restaurant recommendations?

I'm planning to visit fort Bragg end of this month fort my birthday. I'll be visiting with one friend. Was wondering what restaurants I should try?

I'm not too picky, but a variety would be good, such as American, seafood, Asian/fusion.

Recommend anything fun to do?

Tomorrow is my bday and I decided to check off Sea Glass Beach from my bucket list.

I’ve never been that far up north that way so I have no clue what to expect.

Anyone have recommendations on what to do and what to see? (Other than glass beach)

Taxi or other transportation services in Fort Bragg?

I've been looking and there doesn't seem to be any. There really should be some, it's the largest town on the coast and people are stranded otherwise.

Trimming cannabis

Hi all. I'm currently looking for some cannabis trimming work. So far I've made it up to Mendocino City and am looking to search around these parts. I was thinking of going to Fort Bragg, or even Ukiah or Laytonville to look for work. Some people are advising me to go to the farmers market to ask around, local pubs and bars, or to just sit on the street corner with a sign. If you guys have any advice, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
