This includes direct links, and recommendations to watch a video, or a description of how to get to the video ("look up so-and-so on youtube, thank me later")

There are a plethora of subs devoted crypto topics. We are not one of them.
This sub deals with fiat currencies backed by governments.

General idea: Business during the week, party on the weekend. MEMEs posted during the week will be removed, and MEMEs posted on the weekends will stay up but may be removed once Monday starts.
When is the weekend? from 4:30PM EST Friday, to 4:30 EST Sunday.
The ONLY exception is bank holidays when markets are either closed or illiquid with little trading activity.
Even if no rule was technically violated. The mods reserve the right to scrub posts, comments, and users from the subreddit in the spirit of keeping the community clean and without bias.

What's everyone's opinion on AI harmonic scanners?
I’ve been trading for a while now, usually I can make decent trades but sometimes I get ahead of my self and entering too late into trades and end up losing the profit from the ones prior. Due to these facts, my profit/loss is always at about even. Any tips on what I should do?
So for the people who know them what are your opinions about them i heard good things but i wanted to ask u guys which style of trading do u prefer 1:1 rr like doyle or high rr like carlos
I've been trading for about 4 years and haven't made a dime. I bought the Photon Trading Course and I will admit it simplified trading on a theoretical basis... But I just keep losing trades. It's so disheartening considering that I don't really have anything else to turn to for my dream to be financially free. It hurts investing your time and money into something and not seeing the fruits of your sacrifice. I don't plan on quitting anytime soon but the doubts are really strong
Please share your chart colours.
Hi all.
A hypothetical questions about fundaments when you get a chance please?
If there was a news event that caused the EUR/USD pair to rise, then there was no events that affected the pair for 1 year. (Impossible I know but hypothetically.)
- Would the pair continue to rise for the whole year?
- Or would the pair rise until the news event was priced in then stop rising?
Just trying to understand fundamentals and see what everyone thinks?
Thanks all.
I'm still learning lots and find the whole subject of trading, economics and candle sticks very interesting!
Hey everyone,
I just realized I forgot to close my trade before the market closed, and I got this reminder email from FTMO saying that we need to close our trades to avoid contract terms violations. Now I'm a bit worried – does this mean my account could be in trouble, or even gone?
Has anyone else done this before? Did you get any penalties, or was it just a warning? I’d appreciate any insight from those who’ve been through this with FTMO. Thanks in advance!
Edit: im trading BTCUSD, i closed the trade before the price action to stop, and can i ask what time is the market close followed NYSE (4PM) or forex market ( 5pm)

Summary: The overall analysis suggests a strong bearish trend with some early divergence signals that could indicate weakening momentum. However, the primary trend remains bearish until we see clear reversal signals and higher highs being formed. Traders should be cautious of potential bounces from oversold conditions but remember that the dominant trend is down.
Hello,
I have been trading forex for 3 years and still have struggled to be profitable. I bought a lot of courses and did many funded challenges, and I know enough to make a profit in the long run. I know what I have to do, and I make good trades, but in the long run, it is always up in the red. I tried working on my mentality and risking 1%, sometimes even 0.5%, to be safe.
I do not want to be a millionaire in 6 months like most of the people who start trading. I just want to make a side income from it besides my full-time job and to be honest, I like trading I enjoy it.
Is there someone who experienced this and now is a profitable trader in the long run, and what did you do to become consistent in the long run? What should I look out for or focus more on?
Any idea 💡!

Hi , Did anyone tried trading bots ? For trading or testing ? I am programmer and want to try program them I already did some in MQL5 tried in python but MQL5 is much better and easier for me. Do you have some advices or some websites about it ?
Does it mean I’ll given real account now?
I’m just interested in hearing people’s stories out there. I’m personally at a place where I’m trying to be consistent with results. I started learning in Jan 2023, started trading live in May 2023, then this year around May/June things started clicking. I got funded in July and received a few payouts since then. There are periods like in September when I got into serious drawdown but overall I’d say I’m at a stage where I’m getting to that consistency.
Nearly everyday is a red news day.. how can you even trade?
I entered this trade after a pull back and after noticing NFP did not actually move price so aggressively. Considering letting this one run until next week but will most likely cut it prior to market closure.
Nfp is at 12K? 🫨🫨 How did it go down by 94K? Is that normal? What the freak..
Hi, I trade with a tight stop loss and use a large position size.
With 1:100 leverage on a 200k account, how many lots am I able to use.
I'm not clear on this. Please could someone let me know. Thank you
is there anyone who've been trading just one 4h candle for years? Have you been profitable focusing a single candle? Or you switch timings and not just trade a particular session. I took a look around 2014 data and also around 2020 data, the charts were full of sh1t. Its like consolidation everywhere. There's no big moves at all. Even if there is, its tough to trade one 4h candle and get a good gain out of it.
As of now, the markets are volatile and 4H candle can be traded easily.
