I'm debating pulling the trigger on a new maverick and shying away from the hybrid model because of the maintenance cost. However, the Ecoboost model I'm curious about. How has your guys maintenance been with the Ecoboost model? What can I expect to spend?
I assume it will remain in production untill they release the hold. Do we know when they start to ship these bad boys?
You can get 15% cashback at Ford Accessories, plus $40 new user bonus from Rakuten: www.rakuten.com/r/SURFST21?eeid=28187 (I also get a referral bonus, FYI)
Also works for RealTruck, WalMart, BackCountry, PetSmart, etc - all kinds of websites give you a cashback from Rakuten in addition to the new user $40 bonus.
Trip started the day I drove it off the lot, 1 year ago, till today. Averaged 42 mpg. How long can I keep it going? Will it let me record the average mpg over the life of the car?
The Maverick is a truck, I can use this spot
I run an annual Thanksgiving Disc Golf Tournament/food drive. This year we raised 912lbs of canned and non perishable goods!
Any problems with your trucks in automated car washes? I want to drive through one near me, but I keep looking at that antenna a little dubiously. Also have a trifold tonneau...
You guys were super helpful with last question so... I'm currently traveling abroad so researching is a bit harder than normal (I don't have a VPN and every website can tell I'm not currently in the US).
My 25 XLT is apparently in production so I supposed it's time I start thinking about payment.
I have enough money in my supplemental investment accounts that I could pay it off immediately, but then I'd have to deal with gains taxes and all that fun stuff. Plus my investments typically do better than the current loan interest rate.
I'm in the south east US with very good credit score. Is there a preferred method? Somewhere that will show you the rates without having to run a credit check at every bank?
Just scooped this https://a.co/d/0yw2gTo
On black Friday for 225
I know the 8 inch fits no problem behind the passenger seat, it's a 2024 hybrid I have
If you were a shop what would you charge to install? I leave Tuesday for an 8 hour drive. I'll have this by 12 tomorrow.
Complete novice here, I've watched videos and it always looks easier said than done. Do you think I have the ability (I have built some technical stuff in my time, just never car audio) to get this taken care of in 24 hours myself
Or if you were to charge at a shop is this 150-200$? I have zero scope of cost of labor in this realm.
Much appreciated
Again: 2024 XL maverick hybrid
Drove about 1000 miles into the mountains to set up camp with the maverick, great memories made.
It was cold but she was dirty so she got some winter love! I know it will only last a few days but she deserved it! 🥵 🌶️ red black package gang!
Thank you all for being so convincing about how awesome this truck is. I joined the club yesterday.
Day 1, I got 53 MPG round trip on about 80 miles.
Day 2, I loaded her up with a giant sectional sofa.
What can’t this truck do?!
Got a whole face cord of wood to fit in the Maverick. This little truck keeps impressing me!
Went into my local dealership only to be told that the XL and XLT models are on hold for a recall. I’m assuming it’s to do with the rear view camera video freezing the feed when backing up. -_-
Normal for cobb ots 93 octane fully stock?
Cut down a 9 footer fit in the bed even with all my camp gear ⛄️
Not looking to get political here, so please save those comments for elsewhere. Just curious what folks think might happen to Mav pricing in the coming year or so.
I've been on the fence about getting a new car for a little while now and would love an upgrade to Mav because I can use it both as an everyday driver and for #truckstuff on weekends. Likely a FWD hybrid because we live in NC (not the mountains) and we get very little if any snow here. I'm currently driving a point A to point B vehicle that isn't great, but runs reliably. We're getting ready to move in to our first home and it would be awesome to have a vehicle that is useful now that we are newly minted homeowners.
I'm wondering if now (or soon) is the time to buy... admittedly somewhat out of fear that prices for many things may increase depending on what happens to the economy in the coming months, including the Maverick.
Anyone else on the fence about purchasing a Mav (or any vehicle for that matter I suppose) now as opposed to later? Does anyone think that any other automaked will come out with a response to the Maverick in the next couple of years?
I've had a series of unfortunate events with my 2011 escape. yeah I know its a 15 year old car but since I've ordered my 25 maverick I've had to put more money into it than I ever did before.
not that long ago I had to put a used transmission in because my original one died, then my exhaust rusted out, and today my battery died, and that was the cheapest one at 200 bucks.
anyone else every have issues like this while they wait for the new car/truck/suv?
my maverick is scheduled to be built next week, but I still wont see it till sometime in january, and thats assuming there are no delays with assembly or the QA check they are going to perform.
Silly question.
Just how bad is it to tow over the 2k pound capacity?
2024 Hybrid XLT (no towing package obviously) needs to pull a single horse trailer and horse. Roughly 2500 pounds in total.
Will that destroy my driver ain't and cook my brakes?
It's from New Hampshire to CT, 230 miles.
If it's just a plain bad idea I'll see if I can rent a U Haul or something.
Thank you.
As the title states, anyone else have a '25 XL on order showing dual rear USB? The order guide doesn't list that for XL trim but my tracking definitely shows it - not a big deal either way but would be a super nice little bonus :)
