Does anyone know what that plastic piece is called by chance??? Mine is gone apparently and id like to replace it.
Hey all. I’m wondering where I locate the fuse for my radio? In the book it says it’s right of the steering column. But the only thing I see is an airbag. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Ok Reddit, 2010 FFH is throwing Code: C0022 - Brake Booster Solenoid, Additional Fault Symptom (:14): - Circuit Short To Ground Or Open, in Forscan.
Power brakes are out, Advancetrak is off, no regenerative braking. The hydraulic brakes work as expected.
Have a new 12v battery, all fuses are good. My son drives the car, and noticed when the issue first happened the brake fluid reservoir was low. He added fluid and all was well for about a week. Reservoir hasn't dipped at all. Don't now if that is related or not to the C0022 fault.
Code won't clear. Any ideas on how to approach? Replacing the brake booster looks like a PITA :)
At 130K miles, this is my first real issue (other than resetting the battery date and replacing a wheel bearing).
HELP! ;)
Just did it today and drained it out added just over 4 quarts. Took it for a drive to check the level hot. Got it jacked up and removed the level plug thing and lost probably a quart or more. Does it matter that the car was off when I checked the level? Hearing now I should have left it running.
I have a 2016 fusion, with that said I’ve taken care of my sync/bluetooth issues with no problem in the past. Now when I connect, it disconnects the moment I try to play a song? The “connected” symbol stays on and I can reconnect from the console, but still disconnects me right away. None of the normal fixes have done anything for me. Anyone had a similar problem??
Hello there,
I have a Ford Fusion 2015 (2.5L Duratec) and would like to get your opinions on which parts I should change. It's my commuting car, and it has 140km (86000 miles). I have only done regular oil change for 9 years of driving it.
What parts are likely to fail soon?
Thank you.
Hey all, the other night my 2015 SE 1.5 Ecoboost stopped responding to gas pedal inputs. Car was shut down and would not start again. Got it home and ran a scan tool on it, P0335, P06A8, P06B8. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it ran for 2 seconds then came back with 13 codes. Then the battery died. Replaced battery, cleared codes, and I am getting a P0335 (crankshaft position sensor) twice, P061C, P06A8, P0122, and P0222.
It seems weird that I would suddenly get this many faults all at once, what are the chances the PCM is bad?
Anyone have a holder/mount that you absolutely love? With the texture of the dashboard, I am hesitant to try any that are suction mounted as I don't know if they will hold? And I'm sure I am not the only one who'd rather not stick something to the dash. I currently have a Car Mount (yes, it's adhesive but attached right above the left, center AC vent so it does come off easily, no damage) but I can never seem to get my phone to stay in landscape without slowly tilting. Would like to know what y'all use, links are appreciated as well! Thanks!
We just bought a 2019 Fusion Hybrid SE for mom after her 2008 Hyundai Sonata decided, without consulting her, that the connecting rods needed a window in the block so it could experience the fresh air.
So we found her the aforementioned 2019 with 72,000 miles for $13.9k. Full documented service history. Clean CarFax and AutoCheck. My job lets me interact with dealerships of all brands and the Ford mechanics said the 16+ fusion hybrids were pretty bulletproof.
Is there anything you guys think I should be on the lookout for?
All of sudden today my horn went from the normal strong tone to now a Honda sound. Is this something that happens with cars past 135k?
I’m handy, just inquiring. Beeped twice today because I got caught in bad traffic. First was normal and second was normal half way thru then a Honda type squeak. Hasn’t come back
2020 1.5L with 70k on the dash starting to shift hard… especially uphill. Anyone else have these issues this early? Should I get the transmission serviced? Just looking for advice. Thanks in advance
Burning smell from engine bay on my 2013 ford fusion se hybrid. Smell is also in the cabin with ac on, oil level is fine and coolant looks normal no oil in the tailpipe. What could be the cause/solution to this
Fusion runs great except for this faint gurgling sound when the AC is running. Is that normal for a Ford?
Did a bit of researching, and can't seem to replicate the same issue.
Noticed a fluid stain underneath the front of the car after returning from a trip, and checked the front of the car to find this underneath shot.
Not 100% sure of what part this is, but deduced it was the Thermostat housing, since the reservoir tank is a tad lower than minimum, and same color as coolant in it.
Checked RockAuto, Dorman part 9021086 looks to be like it from the side angles, but wanted to be 100% sure.
I'm not seeing any other traces of leaks happening from the top, to trickle down aside from the top, thick tube of the housing, as seen in this other image, so may also need to get a hose for that.
Anyone else experience this?
Kid just got a 15 SE and I was looking to swap his sub/amp into it. I understand the stock head unit (not sony upgrade, small screen) doesn't have preamp outs. That's not necessarily a problem as the amp has ability to take signal from the rear speakers.
Now thats where I am at. I see the sony upgrade has rear deck speakers and I can see the mounting spaces for them full of insulation. Is the wiring still there somewhere for me to tap into? Or am I looking at replacing head unit for RCA or splicing to the rear door speakers? Or is there something I can do with a stock amp in the trunk (read references to that but also assumed that may just be the sony upgrade)
Thanks for any advice
2016 SE 2.0 ecoboost. Alright so this morning on my way to work, about 15 miles into my trip,I was going about 78 and I pushed the gas down maybe halfway and the check engine light starts flashing when I tried pushing on the gas it felt like it didn’t want to go like flooded or something pulled over turned car off and right back on check engine light is off and I continue trip to work no other issues. 137k miles
Two years ago around 70k 80k miles I had the same thing happen but I switched it into sports mode while flooring it on the highway being a kid and the same thing happened I blamed me being rough on the car tripped some sensor or something but this morning was different I wasn’t being rough on the car or anything! Any similar situations or maybe someone knows my issues any help is appreciated thanks!
Google isn't yielding me any results, I am looking for the factory amp ratings so I can find the ideal set of speakers to replace the factory speakers
I have a 2013 fusion SE-ecoboost. Trying to slowly modify it on a budget. I currently have rim covers, tints, bov etc. what are your thoughts on getting wheel spacers?
Every car I've had has came with vents that allow you to adjust them up, down or sideways, but not the Ford Fusion Hybrid. I enjoy having cold air blasting on my face as I get hot easily. It's a pet peeve at this point.
I could buy a device like this and point it at my face, but that's not optimal.
Any suggestions?
Like the battery goes up when i brake and cruise, but it seems to go down pretty quickly?
So my 2014 Ford Fusion SE (4 cyl.). Started kind of slipping in the gears in slow stop and go traffic on the highway . This is the first time I noticed it, ocassionly in the past it would make a rough (jerking).gear change but it was very infrequent occurrence like one a month maybe, wondering if transmission issues are a common thing for this.vintage of fusion, and is it even worth considering a repair.
