2020 Titanium Ecoboost. The usual evap failure symptoms- flatulence sound from the gas cap, hesitant to start after fueling (I'd have to pump the pedal like my old Mustang!). This is actually my second vehicle to have evap issues (other was a Cadillac). A few weeks ago, I was on my way to fuel it up and it kept acting like it was just going to flat out die at idles or low acceleration, like it was stalling and it also wouldn't reverse at all when I tried to back up into a spot. Reluctantly, I fueled up with the car still running (don't judge me, I was scared). Well, a few miles down the road, DEAD. I've unattached the solenoid and tried to try that like, "sucking" trick...yeah the car won't even turn over. Plan is to buy the evap system & replace it. But, I really don't think it will even start. I'm in over my head aren't I?

2012 2.5 SEL with 130k. The car studders when I'm trying to get up to highway speed. Then it mellows out and no more problems.

Already cleaned the throttle body and the MAF. It got a little better after the cleaning but it still happens occasionally. Has newer spark plugs as well.

Anyone else having this issue?

car-2013 ford Fusion SE FWD 1.6L 2 weeks ago i have changed my tire to winter tire.new michelin 235/50 R17 and change my oil from Canadian tire. after that I noticed whenever I press my gas pedal from low speed (30-40km/h) engine rpm goes 3000+ but car doesn’t speed up like before. after 50-60km/h rpm become normal like 1500-2000. is it normal? i bought this car preowned and didn’t do anything with transmission.moreover as it is my first car i don't have that much knowledge about cars. plz suggest me should i be worried about the transmission? or spark plug? i heared a lot of negative things about 2013 1.6L transmission.. thanks all

I registered my key in this “MyKey” (I didn't know what that option was for) and now I get a warning message all the time I get 75mpg, and another one when I get 80mpg, and then, it wont't let me go faster than that. I tried to delete this thing but there is no option for deleting or resetting it. Does someone know how to fix it?? (I don't have another key, a master/admin key or anything)

I am getting older, fatter and lazier (40 fat and furry). I am thinking about scaling back from the 11 under guard screws keeping me from my driveway oil change. Has anyone tried an under guard like this or anything similar.

Hey I have a 2014 fusion se and my headlight enclosure cracked and the moisture that got inside rusted out my connector to my low beam doesn’t work. Don’t know anything about cars and am just wondering if this is the correct replacement.

My brother is an electrician and said he could help me with install if I get the parts. I have already ordered replacement enclosures.

i have a all tan interior, plastics, headliner, i’ve been wanting to switch it all to black, would it be easier to just paint it all or replace it all?

So I’ve been having an issue with my car. It’ll rough idle every once in a while and it shakes the whole car. I’m also having a problem when I’m putting any sort of pressure on the gas to where pretty much my rpm go up to about 3k and my car jerks and then my rpm’s go back down to regular amounts for how I’m driving. Once it gets that first jerk everything is fine and smooth. I just had my spark plugs and coil packs change. Can anyone help me narrow this down? I’m thinking either transmission or motor mounts

kind of wack, but i've always used a separate mp3 for personal tunes, connected to the aux by a usb C cable. out of nowhere this week (after 4 years of this exact setup) i skipped one song and the sound just stopped. it still recognizes the usb, the songs, the titles and artists, etc, it's just no sound comes out. The radio is fine, the speakers play music fine, my phone can play sound through the sync connection still. I swapped the cable, made sure the ports weren't loose, disconnected the device and reconnected it, but still same result. the device plays music thru headphones fine, but im reformatting it rn jic to see if there's a difference.

anyone have any advice on what to try next if this doesnt work?

i'm not gonna use my phone for music. if nothing else works i'll just dig up another mp3 or fix this one with parts salvaged from other dead ones because its free and a lot of the songs i like aren't available anywhere anymore.

My ac,radio doesn’t work I took it to a shop and it had current everywhere and I read online it might be the front control interface module and wanted to know how does it look like and I heard that it might just be the front control panel which one would it be The touch screen works just the buttons not working

Anyway, I have a 2018 SE. I don't particularly want to pay $200 to turn off the warning I get every time I start the car, but I have absolutely no experience taking anything apart under the hood, and my family members who know cars live across the country.

Is there a way to turn off that false alarm (it is false, my hood latch is fine, and we know it's a problem in Fusions) with something like a Sync system reset? Something that doesn't require me pretending to be a greasemonkey because I have no idea what I'm doing and will certainly make it worse if I start digging into my car's innards?

The false warning has been coming up for the past 3 years, and I am the car's original owner. The first time the warning came up it did set off the honking panic alarm, but ever since, it's just a notification that comes up on startup. Every time I have other service done the mechanics will comment on it and ask if I want to cough up another $200 to have it fixed, so I'd love to suppress this warning myself and forget about it because my hood is fine.

Today my wife was at the store and when when we went to leave she put it in reverse the whole car started shaking and felt like something hitting the floor board when she put it in drive it didn’t do it so when she got home I checked it out and and saw the motor shaking almost like a misfire but went away when I put it in drive I looked at motor mount and trans mount it looked fine I put it in reverse and held the brake and slowly added gas then heard a loud POP sounds from the front end the shaking stopped instantly now it’s fine what was this pop have y’all had this issue before could it be a mount slipping up with play or what thanks in advance

i bought a 2017 2.0 AWD at 185k for 10k CAD, barely 2 days of driving and the engine light came on, i found no issues in driving or anything until yesterday (a week from purchase) i felt like the car stopped accelerating but the issue resolved itself in no more than 5 minutes. so i drove it this morning and the drive was aa smooth as always, i left it at a ford dealership, they did diagnosis for which i had to pay 200$ (my obdII scanner wasn’t communicating with my car). The dealership told me there are problems with VCT (variable chain timing) and it has to be replaced for which they’ll charge me roughly 3000 CAD. it’s been just a week since i got the car and idk what to do now

Having trouble removing this filter. It's side-mount vs. the top-to-bottom orientation seen in a lot of pics and videos online. Between the filter and beneath the car, there's a hose or two right in the way which I don't really want to mess with but might have to. Problem is getting enough grip on it to get it off. Any ideas or experience with this?
