I personally don't like ESR, it feels laggy and not very stable
SOLVED: I was using the lepton UI, and needed to uncheck a configuration to show then. Thanks Docdoozer
I did some changes in the css to make the url centered, but would like to make these buttons always appear. I found a way to do it, but it would show all of then, instead of only the ones that should be anabled for that page. Is there a way to do it in the css?
edit:
By default this is what is shown here, all of then not appearing. They appear only when I hover on the url bar. I will update the question with it too.

I don't want the Floorp Browser to be aware newer versions exist in future, so how can I permanently disable it?
in about:config page, when I search: app.update.
Is changing app.update.auto.migrated true to false enough for this?
or If I delete app.update.channel release and keep it empty or change it to something else like donotupdate , will it work?
So I use a custom image on my home/new tab page (via the whole about:config false thing to prevent a black background) and I want to change the image I use. I uploaded the new file... but it's still the old picture. I've tried switching from Unsplash to custom again, turning the browser.startup.homepage.abouthome_cache.enabled
true and then false again, nothing works. I'm stuck with the original image I uploaded. Any help?
I just read today about the new upcoming Floorp 12 and was absolutely shocked to the core.
Floorp has always advertised itself as being one of the most customisable browsers.
Now the news has broken Floorp will NO LONGER support userchrome.css.
This means we can kiss goodbye to all the custom Themes that Floorp has had for a long while.
The custom themes are one of Floorps features it has always strongly advertised, they have stated on their website:
Unlimited Customisation with Floorp.
Flexible Layout.
Customisabile Design.
Now Floopr plans to go break their promises and betray their users by abandoning these advertised features in Floorp 12.
No longer will will we be able to switch between Fluerial, Fluent UI, and GnomeUI designs, this means that Floorp will just look like plain old vanilla Firefox.
This is a total betrayal of what Floorp has always offered us on their website, as they have always boasted about their customisation options and now they plan to strip all that away from us.
I am absolutely disgusted with this betrayal and will uninstall Floorp and never use it again.
this has been a problem for a while on both OSs: if a yt video tries to load when not "in focus" the video player wouldn't load, but now it just never does. i tried refreshing the page, clearing cache, looking at the console, but the only thing i could decipher is that i get more errors and warnings than on a hastily set up firefox install.
does anyone else face this issue? how could i fix it? i found nothing in this sub or GH issues
Is there a way to add shopping tab. I dont want to use google's search engine when ı'll buy something.
I'm using Fedora w/ GNOME and am simply looking for something like Chrome's profiles, as I have different configs for various activities.
I'm trying to use workspaces for that, where I have one workspace open per desktop. However, it seems like workspaces don't persist across windows, so I'm not even sure if I can do that. I've also tried profiles, but the profile manager is a bit buggy and not as refined as Chrome's.
Any thoughts?
I can watch stream find on chrome browser.
While turning it on it always leaves a gray space at the corner if not using a black theme then it's quite visible in overall page. Any fix for this?
Hi !
I dislike the lateral pane with the fav, so I CTRL-B to remove it. But each time I relaunch the browser, it comes back...
Anyway to turn it off ?
Thanks !!
When I try to access my home server on my local network from Floorp, I am now getting a security error, "You are not connected securely to this site." Googling brings me to a suggestion to change, "network.stricttransportsecurity.preloadlist" to false. I've not been able to find this setting in Floorp - and I'm not even sure if this is the solution. It doesn't fix my Firefox instance, either. Chrome works fine.
Any advice on how to fix this is appreciated.
Maybe some easy guide or already made text config?
Earlier today i close floorp and restarted. After that floorp now mis-behaves that tabs and whole windows goes white blank for a big while, and occationally closing a tab on youtube makes the whole browser freeze for a little while.
Its like it gets a hiccup and freezes a little.
sometime when i open floorp portable the right side bar goes to left and my vertical tabs on left side is nowhere to be found.
and my new tab wallpaper isnt visible as well
This seems to have been an issue for a couple of versions, but when I try to upload an image to send to one of my contacts on Google Voice, it says "error occurred" and it will not upload my file. This does not happen on Firefox. I'm on the Linux version downloaded from the official website, not as a flatpak.
In other browsers I can mouse over a video thumbnail to start previewing the video. In floorp the video stops and starts as I move my mouse within the preview which is quite annoying. Anyone else experience this?
Hello, I would like to know if there are some plugiin that I can isexto clip webpage and savexitcon one note and anytype. Thanks
Hello I am new to floorp. I totally love it but I have some issues on video playing on itulearning site. Someone could please suggest me some settings to overcome the issues. Thanks

I struggle with getting any of my streaming services to work properly, can't get HD video on Prime and Netflix wont load anything, any suggestions?
So there's a newer version released yesterday. I have automatically check for updates to Floorp portable on. But I got no prompt that there's a new version or anything like that. After opening browser today, I noticed Floorp downloaded created a new folder update_tmp
that has core
, CORE_UPDATE_READY
, floorp.exe
, update.zip
in it. Do I need to manually place core
and floorp.exe
into the main folder now? Is that the way to update portable Floorp everytime? How do I know there's an update because I'm not opening the main folder to check if update_tmp
is there or not.
Im using floorp right now and whenever I press play, the usual pop-up doesn't work anymore... I tried clearing cookies and caches and even this "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1293313" but it won't work anymore. Roblox works in opera and even in the app, the problem is the floorp
Hello! I have one big issue using Firefox and Floorp – one custom hotkey, cmd+shift+A to be precise. I used it on Chrome to launch my password manager extension but when I switched to Firefox I realized that cmd+shift+a opens addons page. And I can disable it, it just overwrites my password manager shortcut. The same goes to Floorp. I know I can disable all Firefox hotkeys in Floorp but I need many of them (cmd+1, cmd+2 etc for tab selection for example).
My question is can I disable only cmd+shift+A shortcut so I can use it with my password manager addon in Floorp?
I've had to use policies.json to disable the built in updater on Linux since I'm using the repository and my system update manager handles it along with other OS updates. Yesterday with the new update, once again I found Floorp complaining it couldn't update itself, and settings no longer shows 'this browser is managed by your organization'. I updated policies.json with the current Mozilla syntax and rebooted and there was no change. This is my policies.json as of now:
{
"policies":
{
"AppAutoUpdate": false,
"BackgroundAppUpdate": false,
"DisableAppUpdate": true,
"DisableFirefoxStudies": true,
"DisableTelemetry": true,
"UserMessaging": {
"ExtensionRecommendations": false,
"FeatureRecommendations": false,
"UrlbarInterventions": false,
"SkipOnboarding": false,
"MoreFromMozilla": false,
"Locked": true
}
}
}
So what's going on?
Floorp is exactly what I was looking for in an firefox-based update.
Was sitting on the last valid version of proton for 3 years with updates manually disabled (and in most cases, the updaters manually removed) waiting for someone to fix the new ui or improve on the site, dreading having to eventually update. Was recently informed that the version would no longer be supported and started seeing a lot of the sites I use simply fail to work on the browser and reluctantly decided to look for an alternative.
Floorp is a perfect upgrade. Can make it look almost exactly like my old UI (probably literally exactly if I knew some of the intricacies better), settings and customization options I'm just barely scratching, and it's only got improvements to what I was running before. Never even thought about a theme/darkmode-compliant right click function before I saw it here, but it's so much better for my eyes. Can reopen old tabs without the keybind. It's even got workplaces as a tabfolder substitute, the only thing that was making me consider chromium browsers.
Thank you so much.
