Is there any good groups to join for buying stock, price errors etc to make a good flip on like crepcheifnotify etc
is the price of £800 to much for Iphone 15 pro max? Battery health is on 100%, great phone condition and unlocked to all networks
Hi guys, I buy a lot of my stock for by eBay store in bulk. The thing is I only want the sports stuff on my shop and these lots have other stuff as part of the bundle. Where would be the best place to sell these to other resellers?
Thanks in advance
Hey guys!
I've been flipping for a couple of months now, mostly my own stuff and stuff i found in charity shops. My biggest bottleneck is sourcing inventory reliably and consistently atm.
I'm not asking for anyone to give up their secrets, just ways i can leverage tools and AI to do research and scout for deals, almost using them as assistants to help speed up the sourcing process for a faster overall turnaround, avoiding dead inventory, etc.
I've been trolling FBM and eBay for deals to resell, like VR Headsets and games consoles i can flip for a profit but essentially that is taking a lot of time and no ROI yet.
I'm considering arbitrage to overcome this, but this video triggered this question: https://youtu.be/hJQT4trBtw4?si=-IGe1glxFKf3Efi3
Let me know if you need me to clarify anything, but sourcing reliably online has proven to be way more time consuming than it ought to be. Thanks!
Any suggestions appreciated thanks
Looking for any recommendations for a sourcing bot that searches fb and notifies you when new things are posted for sale
Thanks
There is a healthy price difference between items on Vinted and Depop for the styles I sell.
They are on the higher value end (£50-£150)
Does anyone else do this?
Hi! I am an exporter based in Sialkot (Pakistan) and it is a hub of some of the biggest manufacturers of quality clothing and medical equipment. If anyone is interested please dm me and we can discuss the details. Thanks!
Hi All,
I always look forward to getting into this, the thrill of dropping a few items off at the post office here and there, no matter how small never gets old. I think it’s what I like the most - a small sense of achievement.
I just want to know the best way to push items and get them seen. I’ve purchased a bundle of 49 brand new Ice Scrapers for £24 all in which are worth RRP £10.49 each.
On Amazon, they have 4.5 star rating with over 5,000 reviews. It’s coming up to Winter, and if I can’t sell ice scrapers during this time, something’s gone terribly wrong, surely.
So my question is, how best to market, and what price would you suggest based on RRP. Should I offer free shipping but include the shipping cost in the overall cost? Or should I offer the product cheaper, and tag postage on separate?
Any help and general advice would be great. For reference, I have a mature eBay store front (8 years) with 298 Positive feedback.
I have just started my joureny of reselling and wonder what a normal click through rate should be like? Or does it also depends on what kind of product I am selling? On ebay I have an averge click through rate of 1.8%. Is that high or low? And how should I increase my click through rate? (or does it matter?)
I have heard of a few people receiving account bans for third party (cross listing) software. Does anyone have a plan for how to navigate this or software suggestions as manual listing and delisting is an admin nightmare.
My account has just been banned for incorrect brand name posting from Vendoo, if you keep getting items removed or flagged they will ban eventually
Looking for new software after my vinted was banned for posting the wrong brand name due to Vendoo persistently not listing items with the correct brand name.
I have tried Crosslist, Vendoo, Zipsale. Found all to be flawed, Vendoo by far the worst. Any recommendations for something that works consistently?
I have approx 500 items listed and post 80 a week to eBay, vinted & depop.
Any help appreciated
How do you deal with researching items in charity shops to resell when people might be staring at you? Do you ignore them or do you try to hide and research?
Hi, I am looking for (ideally clothing) resellers local to Wirral/merseyside/north wales to connect with, work with, potentially meet up occasionally, share ideas, goals, accountability etc. Drop me a DM if you’re interested or know of anything local e.g. conferences, meet ups
is it acceptable to give an offer on an item in a charity shop? most of them have ebay stores set to bids only on items. found a couple of videos games but definitely not worth what they had on the tag, is it a thing to ask them to give sell it at a lower price? has anyone negotiated a cheaper price in a charity shop, if so how did it go? thanks.
I inherited a bunch of higher end furniture (Ferm Living, Tom Dixon, Godot, Audo) and wondering what’s best platform to flip it? As I assume the usual FB Marketplace and EBay won’t sell for higher values

Hi all, firstly let me point out that this post has been approved by the Mod team.
We have recently launched a new Discord server aimed UK resellers/flippers.
This server is for us to get together, discuss the latest (eBay shenanigans), get assistance with anything from eBay and Vinted, to sourcing and social media.
Public sections:
Verified Resellers Only (no payment required, but verification checks will be done):
This is the bare bones of the server at the moment and it has been started this way to let it grow organically.
The server is designed for those of us who need a little help and those who of us who like to help others avoid the mistakes we have made.
This is not a sales platform, it is not here for people to buy and sell. Reseller market is open to verified resellers only.
Sound like something you would like to be a part of? Join us here: https://discord.gg/cCPAE75ajY
If you need verification as a reseller, message one of the mod team on Discord for more info. but
Hi all,
I’ve recently started reselling on Ebay. Originally, this was my own items but then I quickly found out there was money to be made so I’ve sold a few items for profit too.
I intend to scale up by going to wholesalers and selling their items, so I obviously now need to register as a business account.
To do this, I need to register as a sole trader limited company. Which is best for me?
My current profits are nowhere near a tax threshold but I hope this changes in future.
(Let me know if you need any more information to give an accurate answer. I am a novice at this.)
All good news re private sellers not paying fees but no mention of this unless you go listing!
Hi all,
I’ve recently had some success reselling clothing I find at charity shops, thrift stores and car boots.
I’ve decided to take it one step further and book a handpicking appointment at my local vintage wholesaler.
Any general tips? What should I look out for? What should I avoid? How do I track down the estimated dates of items?
I have done some research but I only have limited knowledge. I know I’m going to make mistakes but I would ideally like to minimise the risk. Any advice would be appreciated
I’ve been buying and selling trainers on Vinted since July 2024, where I first made any money. I’ve made £800 in that time
I’m unsure whether I have to apply for a business account / register for self assessment this year? Or is it before October next year as I only started this year?
Any advice helpful!
Hey fellow flippers!
I’m thinking about an app idea that could help us flippers save time and maximize profits. The app would let you take a picture of a used item, and then:
Expected Price: It will analyze the product image, check its condition, compare it with past sales trends, and give you an estimated price, along with reasoning for how it calculated that price. It’ll also tell you when it was last sold and on which platform, helping you understand the current demand.
Best Selling Channel: It’ll recommend the platform (e.g., eBay, Facebook Marketplace, etc.) that’s most likely to get the best recovery for your item, based on historical trends and item specifics.
Would something like this be useful to you? Any feedback or additional features you’d want?
Hi all so i messed up a bit setting a max bid, it was meant to be £40 but my keyboard lagged and went to £404, is there any way I can get in contact to reduce the max bid?
As part of a family move, I've had a few pairs of freestanding speakers, CD players, mixers etc dumped on me. It's all vintage, from the 70's/80's, good brands. Finding comps for it is tricky, although from what I see on eBay individual units do sell for a decent amount. I've tried selling locally, contacting "we buy your hi-fi" style companies and even advertising in a nearby record shop. Not a single query over months.
Am I naive in thinking these kind of items are even sold anymore? Anyone deal in these kind of things? Any pointers would be ideal. The amount of space they take I would be happy with a token amount. Ta in advance.
Hey, after vinted was down yesterday morning I uploaded a bunch of products, normally they gain traction super quick and I get decent sales. Yesterdays uploads have led to pretty much 0 views on all listings and no product sales. Anyone else experiencing the same issues? It literally feels like ive been shaddow banned or something. It's so annoying.
i really want to get into pc flipping but it seems to me that this country just doesn't have a population of people who might want to buy them in the same way that the US has and I don't know if it's even gonna be worth my time if so few people have an interest in buying PCs (though i feel like our lack of ANY kind of micro centre equivalent or any other noteworthy major pc-based shops has answered that already)
edit - gaming pcs are indeed what i'm looking at, forgot that this wasnt dedicated to just pc parts lol
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to spread this along as I was having my best week ever on eBay, until today where it just... Stopped.
0 sales all day, despite sending out 13 offers in the morning.
Well, it turns out there's a glitch.
Been happening on and off for ages, but recently seems to have hit again - anyway, all of your listings suddenly show an extra 20% on top of their listed prices and postage... So if you're at market value, suddenly everything is really expensive.
But you don't see this on 'Active' or Sold listings but from your user you should be able to see.
Definitely worth a check if your sales have hit a wall in the last week or so!
