I’m 25 and looking for local workout friends. I am a big introvert and not that sociable, but I want to get back into being active. Doesn’t have to be a gym it can be hiking, bike riding, pole fitness classes, Pilates, or yoga. Etc. Doesn’t matter, I work a lot because I’m career driven and it causes me to forget to take care of myself physically, emotionally, and mentally. So, if you can relate please don’t be shy.

I am also quitting smoking! Which sounds crazy, because i exercise 2x a day, a morning run (which i cant talk during, but will often text for a pep talk before, lmao) and either contortion or pilates at night.

I plan on starting a new workout plan on Monday.
My main goals are to increase strength, learn some calisthenics skills, increase vertical and develop some upper body hypertrophy. I have about 2 years of gym experience (beginner with some gains).
Due to previous experiences, I tend to lose motivation and skip workouts from time to time.
I am very well documented on fitness and nutrition. I have solid planning for each hour of the day and full nutrition table (eating some thing every day is not an issue for me).

I’m 28 M, located around Hayward, CA, and looking for a Gym Buddy to do regular workouts together.
I’m 26, male, and in PST, starting a group of people keeping each other accountable and stoked for achieving our ideal physiques in Summer 2023 (and perhaps beyond)! I’ve been working out on and off for much of my life, but only really got serious about lifting a year ago and have managed to make a decent change in my physique, having dropped about 15 pounds and gained muscle, and want to take it to the next level. I enjoy swimming and many other beach activities, like surfing and bodyboarding, and live relatively close to the beach, but I have never really felt confident about how I looked with my shirt off and avoided doing those things because of it. Now, I feel I am closer to being in great shape than ever and thought I’d set the very high goal of doing a photo shoot, so this group will hopefully be that extra push I need.
I did something similar last year and have the group set up on Discord. Basically it will run kind of like a friendly “physique challenge” from now until June, with exact start and end dates based on your individual goals, then we can see how we want to proceed after. I want to commit and stay accountable to the following:
Progress photos at the start and finish, and preferably weekly
Weekly check-in, weigh-ins, and measurements
Setting a goal based on weight, measurements, or physique changes
Setting a plan of how you will achieve it
Check-ins on workouts and calorie/macro tracking daily or weekly, depending on how we’re progressing and preferences
We can also discuss motivation, share training/diet strategies, etc.

I don’t have anyone other than my dog. Just a quick daily check in to make sure I stuck to my plan for the day. You can be anywhere in the world and check in at anytime…I think if I just had one person (other then myself) who cared and could just send a lil motivation than I could stay on track. Promise I’d make ya proud!

I just moved to London for an MA degree and live in Fulham between Putney Bridge and Parsons Green. I've seen that there are a couple of fitness studios around, but I would love to join an outdoor bodyweight fitness or calisthenics group, since I worked out with a group like that in the past years and like the feeling of working out in the open and with other people. I'm open for any suggestions, be it paid trainings led by a trainer or just a couple of friends working out together in a park. As part of my fitness revamp, I am looking for either an Accountability Buddy to check in with and / or someone to occasionally work out with.
For the Accountability Buddy, I'd like to ensure that I am making good nutritional choices (i.e. no dessert or sweets!) and sticking with my work out. I'm open minded about checking-in at whatever frequency (daily, every few days) and mode (txt, email, what's app) works for us.
For the Workout Buddy, I am open-minded to frequency but could do 1x-2x per week, but happy to do it less frequently. I am based in NYC.

i'm 25 years old, and i used to do a lot of sport but since corona everything slowed down a bit. i want to get back in shape but i need some motivation. if someone can give me some advice on healthy food, that would be awesome.

I do not have a gym membership, I much prefer trails and hiking or playing rounds of disc golf, you know the lighter activities that doesn't always feel like working out, but more of being active. I am not opposed to finding a gym partner if that's your thing, but I have reached a plateau after losing 65 lbs in the last half year and I think having someone to be active with can help me turn the corner. Any ages or fitness levels are welcome as well as any gender. I work in Raleigh area and live in Sanford to give a better idea on a more local area.
