Current market value of any given piece can vary. Asking here is a good way to get opinions but checking online sellers like eBay and Etsy is also a good idea.
Yes. Fiesta made from 1986 onward is lead free and the glazes contain no uranium oxides. However, vintage Fiesta (1936-1973) did use glazes that contained lead and uranium. There are many sources that have investigated the radioactive properties and the levels of exposure are so low as to be of negligible concern. There are materials all around us daily that expose us to radiation. As far the the lead content, humans have used lead-glazed dinnerware of all types for hundreds of years with no ill effects. However, as a caution, you may not want to store acidic foods in vintage dishware, and discontinue using pieces that are chipped or have damaged glaze.

Found this 60th anniversary pitcher and 4 tumblers for $75. I am beyond stoked - no chips, scratches, or dings of any sort. 🥰
Just grabbed this stack for $3.50! Did NOT expect the radioactive ivory. I have a ton of rad red Fiesta but this is my first ivory. I love the array of colours here, I was wanting a white saucer big time but hadn’t bumped into one yet.
Doesn’t that just brighten up yer freakin day?
I have a great dark grey set of dinner ware that I’ve had for about ten years. One my bowls just broke. Is there somewhere I can order a replacement?
Are they safe to eat off of? Grandparents left me a huge collection and some I can Id as being safe from the dry foot but I don’t know about the plates
I loved seeing all your tables so had to share mine.
I've had this corn dish for decades. Never occurred to me to put cranberry sauce in it until today. But it fits perfectly.
I have finally decided to take the plunge into buying a quality everyday dish set. Fiesta seems to be the perfect fit. Do you have any advice for choosing a set style? Is there anything that I should know before buying? Also, please feel free to give me tips on ways to save. I am hoping to find a great Black Friday sale.
Factory outlet is selling holiday gift bags and I’ve been wanting a pint glass in scarlet for a while now. 40$ total ❤️
We are dwindling down on dishes and now is the time to finally purchase fiestaware. These will be for daily use but I am having a hard time deciding of I want to build my own colorful set or purchase the pre chosen colors. I was also going to get the classic set but people on here seem to not like the bowls that come with the set and do not use them. We do eat cereal, pasta and soup. Should I not get the set and purchase plates and bowls separately? I fear that may be out of budget at the moment.
Im not great at identifying specific colors but this plate to me appears it could be an older made one?
The color of the shaker is slightly different, so I doubt its the same but I am here for some definitive answers.
They were bought at different thrift stores
Thanks!
Just renovated the kitchen and love having my coffee cups on the open shelf. It’s a coffee bar and a booze bar, tbh.
Just finished renovating the kitchen. I love the open shelves for my rainbow plates.
