Кто-нибудь знает, что Федор где-нибудь тренирует в России??
Anyone know if the training montage of Fedor with the song, Lateralus, is hiding somewhere online? That video helped me lose 72lbs 15+yrs ago, and I'd like to see if it's still around. Thanks.
Should we just go ahead and blame Dana White, or is there more to this conspiracy?
There have been issues with the site for almost 2 weeks now. But at this point, it is just down. There are no results on google eaither, other than the US gym in Chatsworth.
If it happens I see Todd getting knocked out.
Click here to see the fight. I suggest you turn off the audio as the commentating is horrible.
We all know Monson is not in the upper-echelon of fighters, but I think there are still some things we can, objectively, take away from this fight:
Patience: Fedor showed a strong display of not rushing forward with combinations or immediately following the opponent to the ground to finish the fight.
Technical Striking: Although more tentative, Fedor threw clean 1-2 punches and the inside kicks consistently. Overall, a much slower pace to pick apart of Monson compared to his usual aggressiveness.
Intelligence: Fedor knew Monson posed absolutely no threat in the stand up, so he didn't follow Monson to the ground at any time. Even when there was moments when he dazed Monson, Fedor chose to let him up. Additionally, he brushed off any takedown attempts and moved back into the center of the ring.
Conditioning: Fedor seemed to be breathing a little heavy after the second round. However, it didn't reflect in the slow-paced fight.
What's next: Find Fedor an opponent with striking abilities and a durable chin. We need someone who will test him in the striking and drag out the fight. I'm very curious to see if Fedor would implement this same style he did in this fight. Perhaps, the losses have given him and his team a new way of approaching fights.
