So I ordered something that was shipped a few days ago. On my Fedex app I see my address listed as the TO address and an address in Colorado as the FROM address. But today the tracking showed that it was out for delivery but in the city in Colorado that it was shipped from! A Fedex customer service agent said that this tracking number is a duplicate and that it was still on its way to me. They didn't explain how this was possible. I just worry that the sender may have asked for the package to be returned to them.
Has anyone else experienced delays with FedEx holding packages at a facility without delivering? My package has been sitting at the FedEx facility in Cahokia Heights, IL, since November 30th, and it has been scanned four times without ever being marked as ‘Out for Delivery.’ The most recent scan was early this morning (December 2nd at 3:56 AM), but the status still says ‘On the Way.’ This facility is the final stop before delivery to my location, and the package was supposed to be delivered today. It originally arrived at the facility on Saturday, so I initially expected it to be delivered that day, but it wasn’t. I then thought it would arrive on Sunday, but now I’m hopeful it will finally get delivered today.
I understand that FedEx may be experiencing delays or backlogs, but this package was already delayed from the start because it shipped several days late. I had hoped the delivery process would be quicker to make up for that delay. I’ve reached out to customer service, but I haven’t received any clear answers. Has anyone dealt with a similar issue, or can someone shed light on what might be happening?
How does a package Depart a Hub and arrive back at the same hub 3 minutes later? So should I assume that the package is still at that hub or on the way to me? So frustrating
I have a business account with FedEx. Can I provide someone a label to ship something not knowing the exact measurements and weight and FedEx charge my account after it is shipped?
I have spoken with many reps and they all take all the info and say I will hear back in 24-48 hours....I never get any contact, just weird updates on the tracking....It now says there were multiple labels and I will get tracking once it starts moving?? Can anyone in Middletown CT help?....Is there any way to talk to someone there?
i have been waiting for this package, which contains winter boots, but my apartment doesn't have a coded door, just a locked one with access gained via key. i have no vehicle and i cant just sit and wait all day at the front door waiting for fed ex to arrive to receive it. I'm positive ill get a letter to have it re-delivered. but i have no way to get it, is there any way that doesn't involve driving somewhere, or waiting at the front of my apartment complex all day, that i can get my package if given a note to have it re-delivered?
Hi can anyone please help me with this. Why the parcel that was From Lantau Island - Singapore and now back to Lantau Island again and what it means local delivery restrictions?
Had a replacement iPhone shipped to me so I wiped and returned my defective one to Apple via FedEx. A few days later, I received this email from Apple. I contacted them and they're opening an investigation “to see if FedEx will claim liability." Am I on the hook for this? Does the package get weighed while it's moving through the network so they can tell where it mysteriously went empty?
Waited yesterday all day for them to deliver to the wrong address. When i called FedEx they said call the merchant not oh we will contact the driver/dispatcher since they messed up. I have to call Monday and pretty sure that package is long gone smh.
Shipping a Macbook to my son, who forgot it when he headed back to college. Does Fedex offer insurance? Nervous about shipping and it getting lost.
I have a package that's coming from Hong Kong that has been sitting in Anchorage with "on the way - package available for clearance" status for 24 hours. It's an Honor brand smartphone. I don't have a lot of experience with overseas shipments but I'm a little worried based on other posts on here. I also clicked on the "clearance detail" and it looks like it isn't filled in. Should I call FedEx or give it more time? Thanks!
I wanted to ask if anyone had been through this before. I shipped out my first package from california to humble texas, it was in a fedex extra large box and it was FOUR (4) pounds, i shipped out an eternal bouquet (ribbon bouquet). i shipped this out mid november and i used the fedex one rate delivery thing, it was $33 and i used my dads card (with his permission obv since i am only 14 years old) and in the mail i just got a letter saying i have to pay $556? it says it ended up weighing 70 pounds even though it was only 4 pounds??? they said it’s the rated weight but i have no idea what that is. I pre-paid the $33 and didn’t expect them to charge me that much. It’s my first time shipping and i am so scared. If anyone has any tips on what to do PLEASE lmk
i used the fedex one rate thing they have, and im pretty sure that means the price they give me is how much it is, they won’t charge me more later on? im not sure tho
It has been sitting at the Raleigh warehouse for 4 days...
Should I just have them take it out to the garage and dump it in the garbage? I mean, there is no way we can eat that now. Six days for seafood?!
Oh, it isn't that they screwed up the order, it is that they haven't communicated with me at all about what they are going to do. I had to find out from the tracking number I got from the shipper.
Never use FedEx, unless it is something you don't care when or how it arrives.
And I paid for this... Really?
lol, Happy Holidays!!
I live in an apartment building on the 5th floor with a door code that is only needed outside of regular business hours. I am waiting on a delivery of medication on ice from a compounding pharmacy that needs to be signed for. I have verified that all my address information is correct and door code is listed in delivery instructions. FedEx driver has documented this same error on Friday, Saturday, and now Sunday (today). Meaning I was home all day, every day waiting for this delivery that of course doesn’t come within estimated delivery window. Yesterday the driver took a photo of the sidewalk outside my apartment, and today he took a photo of what looks to be the inside of his truck. Delivery is rescheduled to tomorrow but I work all day every weekday. Customer service is basically just parroting my concern back at me without seeming to understand what I’m saying. What a nightmare.
I live in an apartment building but never had this problem. Delivery attempt failed today, 12-01-24, but no one knocked or left a slip/card. The delivery was originally scheduled to deliver for 12-03-24, but for some reason they went today. Contacted FedEx through call but it's a fucking robot. Anyone else have this problem?
I have had six packages delivered by Fed-Ex this year. Not a single one has made it inside the "Delivery Window" given by Fed-Ex. I'm waiting today for a printer I ordered, and the delivery is officially an hour late. The driver is getting closer, and I estimate maybe another hour, but I have to stay here and wait because it's something I have to sign for. Why the always over optimistic delivery times? When the delivery window opened and they showed the map, the driver was 70 miles away. There was no way he could ever meet my delivery time. Quit giving delivery times that are impossible to meet. UPS and USPS actually give times that you can reasonably expect, and have even shown up at the beginning of a delivery window. Yes they have both been late before, but it's not every single time.
Quit with unrealistic delivery windows, Fed-Ex. Either quit lying or invest in better tracking software.
I got a text message today claiming to be from FedEx saying that they were unable to deliver a parcel to me and asking me to reschedule by visiting a link [fedex-updates dot com].
Now, I live in an area that has no car access, so it is entirely possible that I was sent something that couldn't be delivered to me. However, a few things make me suspicious of the text:
-There was no tracking number provided with the text message
-While I have ordered a couple of packages via some online marketplaces, from what I can tell none of them ship with FedEx
-For previous shipments from FedEx, they typically phone me, rather than text me, provide the tracking number, and tell me to come pick up the package at a depot.
-The text came via a phone number with a Nova Scotia area code. For the record, I live in BC.
-I looked on FedEx's official website and did not see anything under the "fedex-updates" domain, which makes me think it's a spoof address.
I'm not visiting the link until I confirm it's not a scam. Can anyone advise on whether this is legit or not?
Fedex is probably the worst of the big courier companies out there.
My package from Toronto to Vancouver ended up stuck in Atlanta, GA (???) for a couple days followed by absolute BS update 'weather delay, NaN'. Yesterday I got an update that it will be delivered today, so I stuck around the house to not miss it. This morning got another notification that's it's 'out for delivery'. Guess what, that was a lie.
Apparently 'out for delivery' means nothing - it just got scanned at a yard and it either makes it into the truck.... or not. You'll find out at the end of the day if you're lucky or unlucky.
Steer clear and ship with something else.
/rant over.
Does this mean it has to come on a weekday or can it come on Sunday because fedex delivers to residential on sundays?
my package says “to gainesville florida” but i don’t live in gainesville wtf do i do??
