Hello,
I am a student at Iowa State University. I am studying industrial design. We are working on a project to create a package for an autonomous tractor company. I am looking for people to take a short survey to help with research for the project.

Can anyone who sells their produce at a farmers market answer these questions for me?

I always feel like I should tip when I buy at the farmers market, but then there’s never a jar or a tip option when you pay with card. Should I be tipping, and if so how do I do so?
hello! i was looking to connect local creatives and producers to a delivery service (working on the idea--not fully fledged yet). i was wondering what kind of experiences people have with this? is it inconvenient to have a middle man in the selling process? what kind of positive experiences have you had with it?
FarmMatch.com is now setting up online farmers market pages where markets list their vendors each with their own online storefront where customers can easily order their products, pay online, and schedule pick up at the farmers market!
During this time when people want to limit their exposure to populated areas this can be a great solution. Some Markets are even using online pre-orders the facilitate "drive-through Markets" where customers pre-order online and then drive through the market aisles, stopping only to receive their orders from the vendors they purchased from in advance.
Even without a health crisis online pre-orders are a great option to help the local farms to keep their sales up and allow customers order from home if they want to and generally make shopping direct easier for everyone!

With COVID-19, are y'all seeing fewer folks on food stamps showing up?
Hi to people who shop or have shopped at farmers’ markets. What is the hardest thing about shopping at a farmers’ market? When was the last time you faced this hard problem and what did you do to overcome it? In general, is there something you don’t love about farmers’ markets?
We are a startup based in Rochester, NY and are launching a service called Vendomarch, which delivers produce from farmers’ markets. Some of us during college thought that the famers’ markets had better deals and healthier food, but being college students found it difficult to shop from there. If there were a delivery service for farmers’ markets, we would have used it. So we though if we would have used it, someone else might have too. That’s why we created this https://vendomarch.com. We would love your feedback. Currently we are making the deliveries ourselves, so if you live in Rochester, NY, try out our service and please give feedback. Reach us at vendomarch@gmail.com. Farmers markets, are deliveries something you want?
Hi everyone! I am working on a graduate project to showcase the Corvallis Farmers' Market and a four farms that are central to the success of this market. I love the community and wanted to give back to Corvallis.
This is a completely self-funded project, and I am just working on trying to get the word out about the videos I have created along with an Instagram page and Storymap.
If you are willing to visit them and tell me what you think, that would be wonderful!
I have never filmed or edited video before this project, so I know it's not perfect. It has been a wonderful learning experience!

It's the fifth year for Philadelphia's Pretzel Park Farmers Market. We have tried promotion (and continue to try) by means of flyers, social media, live music and events, partnerships with local business but we still feel like there are a ton of people In walking distance who don't know about the market and would come out if they did.
We are weekly, Saturday mornings, 10-2.
Any ideas?
