2nd year running a league. Switching from ESPN to Fantrax. On ESPN, we had weekly matchups, and could set our lineup daily with no problem. On Fantrax, it seems as if I can only set the lineup once for the entire week. My question is: is it standard on Fantrax to set your lineup once per week? Or is it standard on Fantrax to be able to set your lineup daily within the weekly matchup?
i’m having trouble finding it if so. thanks!
15G and 29A while not really integrated into any system, can we expect a lot more from him this season in Boston?
He’s getting L1/PP1 deployment, is he likely to form a solid duo with Pasta? Does anyone think his point production could possibly double?
Curious if he could be the Bergeron replacement they’ve been looking for, and Bergeron was a stud in my league
My weekly rosters with him on it locked in 4 hours ago. Does this read as "left to get checked out" or as "he fell down and is no longer alive" to everybody?
Anyone have Live Activity turned on in the Yahoo Fantasy App with two separate teams? If so, is there an option to change the fantasy team you want to be monitoring live?
Which format do you prefer and why? Just curious to hear people’s opinions!
Hey everyone,
I recently moved from Ireland to Canada and got invited to join a fantasy hockey league. I’ve always been a huge fan of NFL and Premier League fantasy, and I’ve even tried my hand at NBA fantasy. I’ve also loved the idea of getting into hockey—it’s such an incredible sport that reminds me a bit of hurling from back home. So, I thought, why not jump in and learn on the fly?
But, as it turns out, I’m completely out of my depth here! I’m having a blast, but I’m definitely struggling and could use some guidance so I don’t get completely demolished this season. Any tips or resources for a total rookie would be massively appreciated!
Hello r/fantasyhockey !
I am excited to announce that this year’s version of Harambot, an interactive discord bot for Yahoo Fantasy leagues, has been released!
Harambot is now running on over 100 servers on Discord! Added it to your server today!
Of course, if you’d prefer to run your own bot you can follow the deployment guides on the project’s wiki.
The source code for the project can be found here: https://github.com/DMcP89/harambot
The bot supports all Yahoo league types and has the following commands:
/ping - Gives the latency of harambot
/RIP - Pay respects
/standings - Returns the current standings of the current league
/roster Team - Returns the roster of the given team
/stats Player - Returns the details of the given player
/trade - Create a poll for the latest trade for league approval
/matchups week - Returns the matchups for the given week, defaults to the current week
/waiver days - Returns the waiver wire transactions from the previous number of days
/configure - Configure the bot for your guild
/reports - Set what channel transaction reports should be sent to.
Leave an upvote on this post and a star on the Harambot repository, and share this post! These are the best ways to support the project at the moment.
All feedback is welcome! If you face issues with the bot or have an idea for a feature you’d like to see in a future version please open a ticket on the repo or hop into our discord to chat about it
I just wanted to mention it because I only noticed this morning...totally forgot about this Prague series. Happy hockey season everyone!
We're having a discussion about this in our league and I am vehemently opposed to the idea but don't know if I'm just being a pain in the ass. I think it restricts strategy and you shouldn't be forced to dedicate a keeper to a position if you don't want to. Position in question is Goalie, which in a ten team league I highly doubt there are 5 let alone 10 valuable enough to keep in a given year. It is an extremely volatile position and lots of teams do tandems instead of having a single workhorse. It should be your choice how you use your keepers.
Hi guys, when can we pick up free agents?
We did our draft yesterday, and I ended up stashing my IR/NA draftees. Went to pick up some free agents, but the + sign is yellow as if they were waiver pickups. I got the 1st waiver priority so I wouldn’t want to lose it like this.
Is it because season hasn’t started?
