I wanted to know if on the formula 2.5x it is normal for the connection pins to all be the same length except 1 which is shorter than the others

Club sport 2.5 base compatible Rev LED

I’ve recently upgraded from a CSL Elite base to a Clubsport 2.5. The Elite had a built in Rev LED which I found super helpful.

On the Clubsport 2.5 base it has a “data” port which the manual outlines is for rev LEDs however I can’t find a single one online that looks to be compatible (with the network style plug) they all look to be USB.

Any tips on what you guys are using?

Was last or previously GT DD included on black Friday sale with some discount or should I not wait and just buy now?

-2 years used ClubSport Pedals V3 for 230€ or new CSL Pedals LC?
-Half year used Clubsport Steering Wheel RS with qr2 for 265€ or new same wheel?
-Half year used CSL DD with qr2 and aliexpress boost kit for 360€ or new same wheel base?

Got APM module, but trying to fit one of them was a nightmare and a pin got bent and a bit of the back plastic on the connector has come off as well. I can’t for the life of me try and get the pin straight again, it’s too hard to see and fidgity plus I suck at DIY.

Would a local electrical repairs shop be able to fix it or is it quite complex to fix ?

This has ruined my weekend before it’s even begun !

While racing in iRacing, my CSL DD wheel base disconnected mid-race and the light turned yellow. After rebooting, it kept asking for a firmware update. I applied the update, but the wheel base now requests a firmware update every time I boot it up.

I followed advice from forums to reattach the shaft, which temporarily fixed the issue, but after a few more races, it disconnected again, bringing back the firmware update loop. Reattaching the QR2 base side didn’t help anymore, so I upgraded to the aluminium QR2 base side, but the problem persists. Tried drivers 454 and 455.

Fanatec support hasn’t responded in over a week, and I’ve only had the base for 4 months. Any advice?

Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me or if someone has exprienced something similar. My wheel recently has stopped detecting some up and downshifts. This happens a few times per lap and is extremly fustrating. I have tried undoing the clamp on my csldd shaft and pushing the shaft back in place. This has not worked. I dont know what to do next. I am thinking of sending the wheel back but could it be the base instead? I am a bit lost with it all right now so any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Got a quick question.. I'm about to order a QR2 bundle. Right now I really don't have the extra to get the regular QR2... so I'm going to get the QR2 Lite bundle that has the CSL DD base side, and 1 wheel side.

I only have 1 wheel right now, just got it couple weeks ago back from RMA because of connection issues with the QR1. I'm assuming that the Base side is the same in both bundles.. but the wheel side is different. Saving 50$ on the lite bundle.

I'm in Canada, so I have to pay a bunch more money for customs and exchange rate. Being close to the upcoming holidays I have to watch the spending.

So how is the QR2 lite? does it fix the problems of the QR1 with connection, etc..?

edit: I don't use boost kit either

To avoid stressing the power & USBC connecter on my CSL-DD base, I've been unplugging the powerpack from mains and USB from computer & storing the wheel upside down with the pack cables held by the clamp.

Am I worrying too much & should I just be plugging the cables into the base every time?

So yesterday i turned my ps5 on and my gt dd pro base and I started acc, but when I got into the game my pedals Were not working but my Wheel does work and when I Connect to pc everything works fine. Anyone knows how to fix this?

Currently using CSL with load cell and thinking of upgrading to the Elite V2. Thoughts??

Listened to all of you on here and decided to bite the bullet. As you can see this is the 5NM Ready2Race bundle. Ordered October 1st at around 10 PM EST, came in yesterday, October 3rd at around 12:50 PM EST. It shipped from Texas. Really good quality and I was expecting the steering wheel to be lighter but it's actually quite heavy.

Idk why many people say it's low quality since it's the best thing I've held in my hands. The force feedback is there, the resistance in each corner is there, but I'm new to this so I'm still clueless on how to interpret it.

If you are considering buying from Fanatec, at least start at the very minimum like I did. So far working fine except the quick release kinda gets stuck when I pull it backwards. If there's any issues (hopefully not) I'll report them here. Can't wait to pull more laps on this thing. 🫡

I’m having a really frustrating experience with Fanatec, and I need to vent a bit (and maybe get some advice). Around 7 weeks ago, I placed an order with Fanatec. After a short while, it became clear that my package had gone missing during shipping. UPS quickly confirmed that the package was lost and provided all the necessary information.

I thought this would be straightforward: once UPS confirmed the loss, Fanatec would refund me as promised. But here’s where the trouble started...

Despite the confirmation from UPS, Fanatec still hasn’t refunded my money. I’ve reached out multiple times via their support ticket system, but I’m getting no responses at all. On top of that, I opened a dispute through PayPal buyer protection, and Fanatec’s team responded there, promising that I would be refunded once UPS confirmed the loss. That was weeks ago, and nothing has happened since.

It feels like I’m being ignored or lied to at this point, and it’s incredibly frustrating since they’ve already acknowledged the situation. Has anyone else had a similar experience with Fanatec’s customer service? Any advice on what steps I can take next?

Just took this bundle and I'm searching on YouTube and guide how to connect all these things together but I found only for the base. Plus I ordered the racing cockpit "Next Level Racing GT Racer Simulator Cockpit". Is there any guide how to put the base into the cockpit?

One-stop question. Should I connect first the wheel,base to PC to do the calibration, update drivers or should I do connect only to Xbox. I will use it on Xbox. Thanks

I want to use the new qr2 on my csl dd but I’m so confused on what to get. I have two wheels atm one is a basic fanatec wheel and one is an aluminum joes wheel and a the other (the one I mainly use) is an aluminum joes wheel with a srm emulator. I just need to know if this one works I thought this one cause it looks the sturdier one if the bunch.
