Is it possible to build a 5" cine whoop?
Im looking for a bit of help.
We are looking to integrate a FPV drone into room clearing. We primarily do residential houses. Ideally the last man in the entry team would have a fpv drone available of needed.
I was looking at the DJI Neo since it seems to be an out of the box easy to use drone. However we are in the US and don't want to use non-US equipment due to the sensitive nature of what we do.
Need something that can go deep into a building without losing connection, longest battery life needed would be about 15 minutes. Not worried about outdoor use, this is strictly indoor. Lighter would be better.
Thanks ahead of time for whoever responds.
I managed to get the ppm headtracking data out of the av in port by setting the headtracker in the goggles to ppm and connecting the external headtracker cable to a trainer port on my remote. Meaning I can now use my Goggles X to play WT and assets with headtracker. How cool is that!? Good thing I tried it after support told me it's impossible XD
I am doing my first 5" build and am a total newbie to this. Frame I am using is the speedyBee master 5 V2 running the DJI 03 and speedyBee F405 stack, I do plan on mounting a GoPro on it. Any recommendations on good motors for a beginner? Was looking at the XING-E Pro 2207 1800KV. Thank you!
I can’t seem to understand what the wire diagram is telling me to do
Hi all. I have been using the mob8 and Radiomaster Pocket ELRS for a couple of months now with no crashes and was having a blast but lately I've been experiencing random rx losses and fail-safes mid air.
The RSSI LQ, RSSI dbm telemetry seems to be in a valid range (250Hz) and then randomly I get 'bad rx' and 'fs' messages and my quad falls to the ground.
After the crash sometimes I am able to restore connection and sometimes it doesnt work.
Sometimes after I power up the quad the binding doesnt work (even though I use passphrase that worked perfectly before with 0 issues).
I tried flying it away from any wifi or radio disturbances and even looked on the AIO board and the RX antenna and made sure everything is in place.
I flown my other 5 inch quad to make sure the problem is not with the remote and everything works fine.
Here is a video of the issue : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Isf0z0D2m18
Currently im learning with a simulator but im wondering what is the best fpv drone to start with? Unfortunately i cant fly in my house so i need to practice outside.
I recently built my first complete quad. normally it works fine, but sometimes the quad has problems with the motors. the motors randomly jam even when the quad has no power. by the feel I think it's a magnetic jam, which usually indicates a broken esc. however, I couldn't see or smell any damage to the esc, and the jamming of the motors always stop after a while. now, however, the quad has failed in mid-air, and when I rearmed it on site, one motor twitched. when I checked the quad at home, the motors worked perfectly again. is the esc broken after all, or did I select the wrong setting in betaflight?
saw a guy selling his gopro hero 7 black for $75 on facebook marketplace. is it worth it still (in terms of quality, weight, stab, etc)? or should i opt for a $140 gopro 11 mini?
Hi everybody, I’m now just getting back into FPV after a while and I’m looking to rebuild my 5 inch quad. My intentions with this quad is to use it for freestyle, but also be able to take some pretty cinematic shots, not anything crazy long range but maybe 1-2km out(?), I live near the ocean and the mountain scenic areas of my city are just a 2 hour drive away, so I’d also like to film in those areas. I have several parts already but I’d like to get your guys’ opinions on whether I should swap those parts out with some other ones.
Parts I own :
The FC/ESC stack died as it turns out so I’m looking to get new ones as well.
Parts I’m looking to buy :
I have a Radiomaster Zorro for the controller and some analog goggles already. I’d like to keep this build somewhat budget friendly as well.
Thanks!
edit : I’d also appreciate if you guys could maybe give your opinions on what battery I should use for those longer flight times.
Hello, I have received my first drone setup, caddx go film 20 along with the goggles x, I also have a elrs radiomaster pocket but I cannot get the Drone and the transmitter to connect, I updated the firmware on the controller when I got it I'm not sure how to check the firmware on the drone or how to update it! Any help would be appreciated!
I wanne mount this led on my quad, any ideas how? Sadly i dont have a 3d printer so yeah
On the way to work I still had my 5" in the car. Then this opportunity presented itself. I'm glad I got this opportunity!

Hello everyone,
recently I started building my first quad and now I am configurating my receiver in betaflight. Unfortunately I have some issues with my receiver in betaflight which I can not discover.
Does anyone knows what the problem is and how to fix that?
Thank you for your help :)
hi guys, i just did my first testflight with the meteor75 pro from betafpv. i used both the 550 mah 1s batteries that came with the drone, and 450 mah lava batteries. does anyone have an idea why my flight time on the 450 mah lava's was only 1.5 minutes? i dont fly too crazy since it's my first drone and i dont have those skills yet. i also only got 2.5 minutes of flight time on the 550's :( my guess is maybe something is wrong with the orientation of the propellors? but i dont really know. All responses are welcome :)
I'm loving learning acro. But still gives my nerves a good kick
After going to tools and pressing on expressLRS this screen just doesn’t stop
So a few months ago, during summer, me and my flywoo cinerace 20 v2 were flying pretty much every day but because of a battery exploding and damaging all of them and then buying new ones, I was a bit down and sad. But London, where I live right now, made it worse by having a guy almost stealing it out of my hands. I should’ve been more careful, as London is London after all. But the guy dropped it and when the drone dropped, it destroyed the 2" frame part. And I tried to repair it and I still can’t do it. The frame kit is just connected to the rest of the drone, and right now it looks like a mess. So I’m wondering if I should stop, take a break or send the drone for repair to its manufacturer in china. But last time I did that, it took 6 MONTHS for it to come back bc of the customs. I really love this hobby and I don’t want to stop, but everything seems to test me and break me down. Please tell me what to do, before I officially stop this beautiful hobby…
Like the headset and controller and all that
