Im just getting started with my FPV research but am pretty confident its going to be a long term hobby.

As recommended on this sub, I’d like to start with just the sim and a controller and then build from there.

But I wanted to see if there is a Sim and controller that works on the PS5 (other than the ps5 controller), as I don’t really want to get a PC capable of running them.

I have a laptop I use for work and no other computer, and don’t really want to use that. So my options are either to find some way to do it with the ps5 or buy a computer, which I don’t want to do.

Hey everyone, I've made a post yesterday but I wanted to make a new one with all the information that i gathered so far compiled.

After about 30 seconds of flight my quadcopter just stops working and drops out of the air like a dead fly. I don't get a warning in my osd and can't spot anything alarming but I've included the DVR footage, maybe you can spot something that I missed. I've tried multiple times with different batteries and got the same result over and over again. The drone was built following this YT tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2NiH5ciV5c) but I swapped out the O3 for an O4 (thats also why there are parts of the frame visible in the footage).
It does not disarm automatically, I have to manually disarm after every crash to see the flight satistics in my googles.

Since posting this the first time I've resoldered motor 3 and disabled runaway takeoff prevention but that did not help. 6s battery, For cinematic and light freestyle

Hi there,

Recently built a 5" freestyle quad, but wanted something lighter with more control I can fly indoors for things like flythroughs. Preferably sub 250 without action camera

Since I went analog for the latency with the freestyle quad, I would prefer to stick with analog and use an action cam like the runcam thumbcam.

I believe the best style would be a cinewhoop 30 however I am unsure which model would be best, I feel a prebuilt would be better but I am open to self sourcing and building it.

I can’t decide if I should get a meteor75 tinywhoop or some 5inch quad as my first I want one which is good to learn with but also fun for a little longer period of time, is a tinywhoop actually fun outside compared to a 5inch? I can’t fly the 5er in my apartment I’d guess please help me decide.

The max output Wattage of the TS101 is 65W This cable has 72W Will it break the soldering iron or does it have safety features build in so it can‘t take more than 65w from the cable?

Hi, i've been searching through countless posts regarding first drone, and all replies usually suggest to get into SIM first.

so I did and Im around 10 hours in, slowly looking for a small size drone (100 - 249 g) to fly

I found from other threads that DJI Goggles 2 are really good for fpv digital what I will most likely buy
I have RadioMaster Boxer controller (ExpressLRS)

I would love to get some recommendations for a specific digital drone I could buy both for indoors and outdoors that would work properly with above setup?

I was doing a storage charge on my batteries last night and one of the Balance cables came unplugged a little bit so Cell number one didn’t get charged correctly. So it’s at 4.2 while the others are at 3.8.

I have the Toolkitrc m6d. And I ordered a q4ac which will be here in the next day or so. I can’t figure out how to get it to balance the battery.

If I try to do storage again it tells me I have an error high cell voltage.

I’ll get straight to the point. My budget is around 500-550€. Looking to buy second hand gear to get started (will mostly use olx.ro or other similar platforms). I want a pretty small fpv with ok-ish flight time. Where do I start and what should I be looking for?

Just curious. Specifically which size handles closest to 5" while on 1s. Also ESC/AIO amperage for your chosen size?

I've spend lthousands (not an exageration) of hours in flight sims as a child with just a keyboard for controls and I've tried the Liftoff on the Oculus 3 and while it doesn't have acro mode (that would be my ideal use case for FPV) I'm feeling quite confident once I pick up on FPV they won't just catch dust like my many other "hobbies".

So the next step for me would be to get a radio and try Liftoff and other sims on my M1. I'm weary of getting the radiomaster tx16s mk2 as it seems a bit bulky and my gear aquisition sindorme makes me research it much deeper, but for the radiomaster pocket I feel I can just purchase it now.

I could easily see myself spending 2-3 hours a day in the simulator -- will I regret buying the radiomaster pocket over the tx16s quickly or can the radiomaster pocket be used much further in a potential FPV future?

I’m just starting to get into the FPV drone world and bought a Radiomaster Pocket to play on a simulator. I’m using Uncrashed, and I’ve only logged about 3 hours of playtime over a couple of days. Honestly, it feels super hard and frustrating. I keep losing control and crashing all the time, haha. I’m starting to lose hope. I don’t know if I’m just really bad at this or if the learning curve is truly this slow. Could anyone share their experience and let me know how long it took you to get good control of the drone and reach an advanced or professional level? I’m not talking about doing crazy expert tricks, but at least having advanced-level control of the drone. Tips and recommendations are welcome. Thanks!

I want a digital freestyle 2-3s drone that I can also use as a indoor drone for cinematic footage I would prefer it with DJI o4 so I can use goggles n3 and will mostly be ripping around a playground in my community or in the open grass area (I already have meteor75 pro) I would also take recommendations for analog and DJI goggles because I really want to use one for both.
