Anyone know where I can get 14mm fixed hub for my volume thrasher 14mm dropout
I typically ride a 58. I have an aluminum Felt TK2 track frame set in great condition size 54. I’d like to use it to learn spins, bar spins and fakie. I am a bigger guy at 190lbs.
Can the Felt frame I have handle doing a 4 foot drop, or the kind of regular abuse FGFS bikes see?
I also was curious if riding a smaller frame would be more difficult for fakie, or if it was encouraged to size down?
Considering how well wheelie vids do on yt, there's a definite lack of how to wheelie in reverse. I'm learning the hard way - fakie, lock up the pedals and pull back, try to keep momentum at the balance point... loop out or land hard on the front wheel. Any advice to help smooth the learning curve would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone in the Central Valley/ Bay Area down to ride tomorrow 10/5 I’m mobile I can come to the bay Sacramento or Stockton or something. Lmk
Hey, I've been wanting to get myself a fgfs and don't know whether to build one myself or buy a stock one? I'm asking because I'm rather tall at 195cm, inseam 95cm and long arms. Any recommendations on brands/components?
Cheers
Looking to get back on a fixed gear, but want to be able to go some distance (no 26”). I’ve narrowed it down to these two. Differences, opinions? I’m really oblong looking to do bars, 180s and manuals nothing serious.
Hey! I was wondering if anyone knows the measurements of an Euro BB. I’m kind of looking into making one myself.
Sup everyone, so, I’m going to build my first fgfs and I have absolutely no idea about what rear hub should I get.
Any suggestions? It’ll be for a 26’ build.
Hi!
I'm looking for a pair of 700c rims that are tough, v-brake compatible, and, if possible, are available somewhere in Europe. I've heard of the Sun Ringle Rhyno Lites, but they seem to be discontinued, or insanely hard to come by, some guys at the local bike shop also suggested I go with the Sun Ringle CR18s, I don't really know what to do.
What would you suggest?
Hopefully, I've posted this on the correct subreddit.
Thank you in advance!
Hello, I recently cracked my Alpina carbon fork on my Dolan Pre Cursa doing fish and chips and trying to wheelie. I'm now looking for a steel BMX fork I can beat up, that ships to Italy, is not too chunky and wide, and won't ruin the look and geometry of my bike. The only options I found were the PS Bikes STREET MEAT FORK 24"/26" and the Cult Crew Sect Fork 26" or 29", but the steerer tube is only 162.5mm and I need around 266mm. I am searching for a 26" or 24" BMX fork as I've seen that they should both fit my 700c 28c tires. Do you have any recommendations under 100-150€?
