I believe in the future of agriculture, with a faith born not of words but of deeds - achievements won by the present and past generations of agriculturists; in the promise of better days through better ways, even as the better things we now enjoy have come to us from the struggles of former years.
I believe that to live and work on a good farm, or to be engaged in other agricultural pursuits, is pleasant as well as challenging; for I know the joys and discomforts of agricultural life and hold an inborn fondness for those associations which, even in hours of discouragement, I cannot deny.
I believe in leadership from ourselves and respect from others. I believe in my own ability to work efficiently and think clearly, with such knowledge and skill as I can secure, and in the ability of progressive agriculturists to serve our own and the public interest in producing and marketing the product of our toil.
I believe in less dependence on begging and more power in bargaining; in the life abundant and enough honest wealth to help make it so--for others as well as myself; in less need for charity and more of it when needed; in being happy myself and playing square with those whose happiness depends upon me.
I believe that American agriculture can and will hold true to the best traditions of our national life and that I can exert an influence in my home and community which will stand solid for my part in that inspiring task.

Hi there! I got a random refund check from FFA and I'm not associated with them AT. ALL. I also don't have a loan and I've already gotten my refund from my college for financial aid. Should I be concerned? Please someone help!

Is it okay for me, my brother, and my father to take a group picture in our jackets? My father is of course not in high school and my brother graduated recently, and I'm not sure if it's the respectful or right thing to do.
Hey! I want to know how yall enjoyed the convention if u were there. there was so many people but it was so fun. so lmk who you are, where your from and how much you liked or didnt like it
My chapter is leaving today, and I figured some of yall are too, so I wanna ask what your favorite part of convention was, if you went this year.
Mine was either Temple Grandin's speech and Carter's retiring address, or walking through the main expo hall, reading your badges, and talking to random people like I've known them for years.
Hello! I am an older and influential member within my FFA chapter, we tend to not have much to do! I am trying to find activities that are inexpensive and engaging for my high school chapter for the 2025 convention. We’ve done skyjump, ate, shopped and all general FFA activities. Advice needed
I've been working on cleaning my FFA's office last year bleeding into this year, but don't know how to clean the statues without damaging them. It seems someone from years passed even spilled something on some of them and despite it being there since before covid it still looks wet and sticky. If anyone knows how to clean them without damaging them or stripping the paint I would greatly appreciate it. (Neither myself nor my advisor could find the proper name for them if anyone knows it I'd greatly appreciate it.)
I'm very new to FFA and tomorrow will be my first CDE (floriculture). I have never had to dress formal in my life, at least not since I was very young. I do have some black slacks from a wedding and a white collared shirt I got from my brother a few years ago, but I don't have dress shoes nor do I have cowboy boots. I was able to get ahold of some dress shoes that barely fit me without socks, and I assume I need to wear black socks as without them you can see the top of my foot. I'm not sure what I should do about this and I would love some advice.
I got chapter president
I am a new officer, and I want to know what we do in the COLT meeting

It’s my first year of FFA and I ordered a standard customized jacket with my name, and I need to know how long these orders usually take. Thanks

Hi! I’m new to FFA and was wondering where I could buy my show halter. I am showing goats, and have been to multiple stores that only supplied show “collars” I have seen some halters online, but am not sure about the quality and wanted a personal opinion. I will also email my ag teacher for more info, but wanted to see what yall think! Thank you :)))
So I'm wanting to apply for chapter office and wondering what some of the positions do such as the secretary, the reporter, and the vice president. Could somone please explain what they do? (Also my advisor said there were 3 extra positions, anyone know what they could be?) Thanks!
Hello!
My girlfriend and I are looking to start up a farm. We're currently in college right now, but our 10-year goal is to own a livestock farm with cows, chickens, pigs, and horses.
We want to support our local communities in aiding to teach kids about FFA and 4-H competitions because, when we were growing up, we didn't have access to this sort of thing.
Does anybody have any recommendations as to where to start? We want to learn more about the competitions and become qualified to teach and coach on them.
TIA!
I'm so excited to compete in CDEs again this year, specifically wildlife, but I wanted to find some ways to study for the online exam portion. I know some of the content I should be studying from my state's wildlife handbook, but of course the content changes slightly every year so I don't know what I should expect. Does anyone have tips on how I can find relevant information relating to wildlife that would be on the online exam? I live in AZ and I know that Wildlife competitions (Animal ID) can differ depending on your region.
What's everyone's favorite CDE that they've done, or what's one you're wanting to do?
