Barbieri out, what's next?

So, with 10 points and three games left, what's next? Juárez has been eliminated from the Liguilla, but they can still learn something about this ream.

Can Juarez still do it⁉️

With wins against Puebla Mazatlan and Santos we have moved up to 13th. This means we aren’t dead yet. 3/6 of the teams we face in the coming weeks are ranked below us meaning it’s still very possible we can qualify for the liguilla. Our next match is Leon who are 14th

Fc Juarez draws against St Louis City SC. And they absolutely destroyed them on pens thanks to Jurado. Vamos Bravos 🐎🐎

On the bright side of our loss vs Frankfurt

Juarez lost 1-2 to Frankfurt, but there’s some positives from this game. First of all our goal was scored by an under 23 player and assisted by an under 23 player, Cesar Lopez (22) scored a header assisted by Sebastian Perez Bouquet (21). Speaking of young players a lot of our lineup and subs were young players here’s a list of them:

Starting XI:

Denzell Garcia🇲🇽 (20) Sebastian Perez Bouquet🇲🇽 (21) Cesar Lopez🇲🇽 (22) Eder Lopez🇲🇽 (18)

Subs:

Diego Barrera🇦🇷 (20) Karel Campos🇲🇽 (21) Jan Carmona🇲🇽 (20) (from Chihuahua city) Diego Campillo🇲🇽 (22) Alejandro Moreno🇲🇽 (22) Cesar Sosa🇲🇽 (20) (from Juarez) Ralph Orquin🇲🇽 (21)

As you can see a lot of our players were young with one of the starters being 18, and we still only lost 2-1 and one of those goals was a pen 🤷‍♂️ I’d say that was pretty impressive

What’s everyone’s prediction for League’s cup?

Hey everyone! It’s almost time for League’s cup and almost everyone I’ve talked to hates it and the major discourse rn on the LigaMx sub is sharing their frustration with the tournament. That being said we’re in the tournament whether we want to be or not so I’m gonna share my predictions about it and feel free to share yours.

So when the groups dropped I certainly wasn’t happy, for those that don’t know St Louis City and Fc Dallas are the teams in our group and at the time they dropped St Louis was first place in MLS’ western conference and Dallas was 7th in MLS’ western conference, that pretty much means we’re getting grouped right?

Well we got lucky, at the current standings we’re looking at Dallas being 11th and St Louis being 13th. That’s doable given the fact we drew Atlas (6th currently in LigaMx) and only lost to Toluca Pumas and Club America by 1 goal. We also beat Deportivo Cali and New Mexico United (who beat a top 5 western conference team in the USOC btw) things might look bad rn but we aren’t in an absolutely shambolic state it’s doable.

Unfortunately I don’t have any idea how League’s cup brackets work but I do know we wouldn’t have faced LAFC last year if we topped the group then so topping the group is pretty important for us if we want to go far.

One thing I will say it it is far more likely we beat a team like America or Chivas in a League’s cup match rather than a LigaMx match because top teams don’t seem to be taking league’s cup seriously whereas teams like Queretaro did, although I think some teams will certainly take it more seriously this year. Anyway feel free to drop your opinions in the comments. Vamos bravos

Tldr: we have an easy group St Louis and Dallas are both in shambles rn

Internal divisions surface after loss

The Pumas result wasn't what we wanted. And, apparently, Barbieri is angry.

Here's his press conference, with translation, courtesy of Alberto Urureta:

Start of the conference, clearly testy. Appropriately says Bravos playing well, and on an uneven playing field.

https://x.com/alberto_lgo/status/1813868543978754454/

Strong accusations against the institution for not signing promised reinforcements, and forcing exhausted players to play on short rest.

https://x.com/alberto_lgo/status/1813871027019211212/

Alludes to leadership not making promised moves and referring reinforcement questions to them.

https://x.com/alberto_lgo/status/1813872253010120744/

Surprising shots fired from the coach, though this gives some context to the rumors about Fassi potentially leaving.

What do you think? I felt like there were some big rumors flying about acquisitions, but minimal action.
