hi, does anyone know how the fau lsat prep is? i’m wondering if it is through zoom or just recorded lectures.
Hey
I'm a senior at an out-of-state college looking to move back to Florida after graduation. I'm pre-med and plan to take FAU or Palm Beach State science classes during my gap year.
Would y'all say FAU has harsh grading policies or professors? Is it hard to get A's in general?
I'm hoping to improve my science GPA.
Hey so this is lowkey kind of a weird question but me and my girlfriend both live on campus and we want a private place to hangout. By hangout no I don’t mean sex but there’s some things still meant to be in private. Study rooms have cameras so that’s an obvious no and we don’t have anyone’s dorms we could use. Is there anywhere on campus where you can be alone?
Hi guys. Im looking to commute closer to the school and am looking for apartments. Just wanna make sure this place is legit b4 i decide touring the place. Anybody had good experience via staff, neighbors, interior, etc. I’m sure the place will have some noise considering it’s aimed for students. Any advice would be great.
Over the past few years I have received messages from FAU students who were interested making money helping my autistic son write papers for his classes at PBSC. I can’t find those numbers. If anybody is interested, please DM me.
Just wanted to get sense of the computer science program at FAU online
just want to hear the experience of those of you who have gone through the program and what the job prospects are like.
I have been accepted in an Environmental Science Masters program at Florida Atlantic University. I am looking into areas of which i could relocate to, and open to commuting (1-2 hours). I am wondering where most students that commute live and where in that area would have the lowest cost of living, yet still be safe and a commutable distance to FAU.
In addition, if anyone has completed or currently in the environmental masters program at FAU, how is the university and program? Where were most of the courses in the catalog located?
Thank you!
My stats : 2.81 unweighted, 21 act, 23 superscore

This is my second time trying to apply to the School of Architecture at FAU, and I just wanted to know if anyone can tell me how hard it is to get a spot in the upper division as a transfer student. I completed my prerequisites and Design 1 through Design 4 here in Florida. I applied for Fall 2024 but sadly got denied. I don't know if they are biased towards different colleges here. Also, I don't know, but if you get denied once, are you more likely to get denied again?
hey guys!
pleeeease help me with that, chances of getting in FAU

Has anyone taking philosophy of video games at the Wilkes Honors college? It fits perfectly in my schedule, but also don’t want a huge workload since I’m taking advanced sciences in spring 25.
Hello! Has anyone had success finding a tutor with Python? I want extra help with time complexities and algorithms within Python. I have gone to the free tutoring lab on campus, but am looking for something in addition.
hey guys, I was looking for a class in STA 2023 for the coming semester and was wondering if anyone knows a good professor with not too heavy workload. im also hoping if possible for the work/tests to be able to do at home… any recommendations I appreciate!
I checked my plan for spring semester but thought my registration date was today (it's tomorrow) and noticed my Spanish class I thought was online is actually in person and I can no longer do it (I'd have to run across campus in 10 minutes and there is no online option). So I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?
I'm going to be a sophomore next semester and my major is Psychology: the other classes I plan to take next semester are: BIO1010, SYO3100, ANT2000, and DEP3053.
I am thinking about taking a different language for this semester (I was thinking maybe Italian) or maybe another elective, I'm not really sure. I have a wide array of interests so I'm willing to consider many different courses!
I only want to register for 3 classes(9 combined credits) in total and for some reason the registration site is telling me I need to take 12 credits but I really don’t have time to take 12 credits this semester. Anything I can do to be part time student and not have to take 12 credits. Thanks guys!
Hi, I have a GPA of 3.2(basically) 3.3, but my SAT score is 960. I hoped to retake the SAT on the 2nd and do something with that. I have other activities like working, volleyball one year, track one year, and others. Do you think with this info its enough to get in?
Hi guys! so i’m trying to pick a prof for mac 2233 and im decent at math… who should i take 😅
My husband owns a small business, and we are looking to just update his website and announce a moving date for the business. Nothing huge, but it's nothing my husband and I have time for or know how to do. Would love to hire a student who has experience to help out for this small project. Our daughter is actually a student there but this isn't her major. We would rather help out a student with some cash. Thanks!
I’m currently registering for classes but their are to courses where I keep getting that “class restriction” message. And I’ve tried all classes for both of these courses. It’s the same message every time. I have no holds and I meet all the class requirements. Not sure what’s going on.
