i am an incoming freshman for the class of 2028 and will begin in summer 2024. my highschool had us fill out final transcript request forms so they could send them electronically to our schools, but I missed the deadline for this form as nobody mentioned it. They only sent out an email that but I never saw it.
I did submit the form about 5 days after the posted deadline and emailed my counselor but she hasn’t responded..
i’m kinda scared that this means FAU won’t receive my transcript and I can’t enroll but idk. Will I be able to send it myself or have to mail it or am I just.. cooked?
Is there a dress code? My hair is terrible, I want to wear a beanie
Why are some courses not published on time? For instance, two of my summer classes have yet to be published even though the semester began on 05/11.
I have a professional headshot but am not a fan of it, but if the headshot doesn’t matter that much (I.e. doesn’t get sent on with my med app) than I’d rather submit my old one for convenience.
What happens if I enroll in a course, take the course entry quiz and then decide to drop the course
Here is a regularly updated playlist dedicated to new independent French producers. Several electronic genres covered, but mostly chill. A good backdrop for concentration and relaxation. Perfect for my late-night study sessions.

We were looking to get our daughter a computer for her high school graduation, so she has it when she starts FAU in the fall, and we’re just wondering if any current FAU students have a preference or if professors have a preference? Thanks
Just got an email stating I’m at risk of losing my financial aid for failing to complete 67% of the credits I attempted and not meeting “Pace” standards? I took 3 classes this semester and passed all 3 so I don’t even know what this means
I just got accepted to Fall 2024 despite being waitlisted and applying just before the deadline! Everything is possible; Don’t lose hope!
I’m gonna be a senior and I’m quite worried about college. Ik not to make conclusions early on but I’ve got a top three:
Help
Hi! Is it possible to change your status from an online student to a in person one? I wasnt able to register for in person classes due to this classification
Hello everyone,
I’m a rising undergrad freshmen and was placed on the waitlist for fall 2024. Is anyone else in this predicament, and are the chances high that I will get in?
Don’t know if anyone is in a similar situation!
Any help is appreciated
I have all my classes done so now I'm just looking for some easy 3 credit electives/class suggestions. More specifically for the summer.
Just finished my freshman year and wondering if it’s hard to transfer from Fau, with credits transferring and shit. I’m a Mechanical Engineering major with 30 credit hours and a 3.45 GPA.
I pretty much just wanted to know opinions on Dr. Sree Ranjani Rajendran. Im a transient student attending her class and can't seem to find any reviews on Rate My Professor, Reddit, etc. Thanks for all advice especially on CDA 3203 Logic Design!
I’m not in a major that uses microscopes but I wanted to see if my hair was low porosity or not. I am near the honors campus however I can sometimes go to the main campus too
I applied for fall 2024 with 1200 SAT, 3.69 Unweighted GPA and 3.8 Weighted. (I will say though, I did apply kinda late… Like, in march.) I am a florida resident, 30 mins from campus. They said that my final decision will be given on may 31st the latest. Will I get in?
Can I take some of my BS required courses in PBSC and have FAU credit them?
Title pretty much says it all but for added context I fucked around a bunch when I first got into FAU and that lead to me getting suspended. For about 2 years I’ve tried really hard to stay on top of school and get my GPA up but I messed up this semester and got dismissed.
Obviously I wanna keep going to FAU, but more importantly I just don’t really know what to do with myself now. Is there anyway to appeal my dismissal early? Or does anyone have any advice on what I can do to strengthen my appeal or just really move forward in general?
TLDR; just got dismissed cus my GPA and grades were too bad, so I need advice on what to do now.
I went to PBSC for my first year this year, and I did absolutely terrible. I’m working two full times and trying to balance it out, I definitely wasn’t able to.
I want to possibly switch to FAU to reset my GPA (if that’s even possible) and just get a clean slate, not working next year. Ontop of that, PBSC has been a bad match for me.
I’m trying to become a teacher in the future and get a bachelors in secondary education.
I believe my PBSC GPA is a 2.0, but my high school GPA is a 3.2. I haven’t taken the SAT (I’m pretty sure I’d get a pretty average score) but I’m willing to take it now to try to get in. Would I be able to use my GPA from high school, or do I need to use my PBSC GPA?
Is it worth trying?
I got a 4.0 gpa for 12 credits this semester and was just wondering if the College of Comp Sci and Engineering does a Dean’s List/President’s List and if so, when? I’m not sure how to tell if I made the list
I am an out of state student applying for Fall 2024 for architecture. I have a 4.13 W Gpa and 1160 SAT score, I applied March 28. I also did a lot of activities and volunteering and wrote the optional essay on commonapp. Im still waiting, any chances? 😭
I have a 3.4 uw and 3 years of soccer in 11th right now. I'm in some clubs and other extracurriculars and decent community service hours. I took the SAT haven't gotten my score yet but it was pretty easy, didn't take the act yet and I'm in some ap and honor classes. am I cooked?
So I'm taking in person summer courses for the first half of summer and recently found out that the dining hall is closed all summer. For those who have done this, how did you do it?
I'm not worried too much about breakfast since I can easily make oatmeal with materials that don't take up too much space, cost, or refrigeration. For dinner, I plan to pay for breezeway stuff, but Im not sure what the costs are since I normally rely on the dining hall.
At the moment I dont have a car, so shopping isn't too much of an option. I also have a small fridge, so there is only so much I can refrigerate or freeze. I do have a microwave, though.

Does anyone know when the contracts for summer dorms release for summer B? It says late may on some pages but others don't mention it whatsoever. I know I got in to housing because I applied the first day, I just haven't heard anything from housing.
Hello all,
I’m a current student here in Texas and am torn apart where I should spend my next four years of undergrad. Im the top of my class for my public high school and im undecided on what I should study, but have a feeling it’s going to be somewhere in the business area. It is close to the deadline and have to make a choice soon, and I know that at UT I would for sure get on campus housing when compared to FAU where id know have to live in an off-campus living space. I understand UT has a bit of a snobby reputation, so it makes it a little hard. Any opinions about either university would be much appreciated !
