Anyone gone over the 8 point threshold and still didn’t get fired?👀 I have 9 points so I’m debating on showing up to my shift on Tuesday..

i recently started working in stowing and i have a lot of..thoughts about it. listen, it’s easy and all but it’s very overwhelming and overstimulating sometimes. i used to work at a sortation center, which i enjoyed a lot. which is why i think i’m not a big fan of stowing because i’m just standing in one place for 10 hours (well obviously with breaks and all).

what are your guy’s advice for stowing? like do you have any methods or things you try to do first? also any advice from keeping your feet hurting? i’m thinking i might need to get soles or something. any recommendations maybe? (thank you! sorry for the rant lol)

Hi all, I am working at a sortation center (new) as a seasonal with flex +/- 1 hour on a four hour schedule. We flexed down and everyone went home an hour early (Or at least everyone punched out?) When I looked at my a to z app when I got home, it shows that I was absent for the last half hour of the original shift? And that I was now scheduled in two parts, three hours with a half hour in between and then scheduled for the last half hour? It also took 30 minutes off of my UPT. I am totally confused. Did they just change the schedule after everyone left an hour early? Am I supposed to check my app with flex down to see if they call me back? This makes no sense. Thanks for any info!

My first day is November 9th and the shoes I ordered are a half size to big. I am just wondering how long it takes to get the credit back to order a different size in shoes? Im afraid I won't be able to have new shoes here by the 9th and don't really have the money to buy any myself right now since my husband has been the only one working. Not sure what to do?

So i just started at a new IXD facility and its like hundreds of new ppl at once im starting my second week tomorrow and i asked abt problem solve training all they did was take my username down and say they’ll put me in next class , will they automatically call me or will it pop up in a to z because every training so far has just been as big groups and i kinda been feeling sick so being in learning all day wont be that bad

I've been working 16-20hrs at SC (Blue badge). I just changed my schedule from 5d/week to 6d/week and it got approved. I'll start my new schedule on Nov 11th (Base hour 24hrs/week + up to 6hrs flex up). Is it possible for them to change my Class Q to H once I start my new schedule? Or I have to quit/transfer and reapply for a position with new hours? How does it work?

Does anyone know how a hardship transfer works from state to state. I’ve done internal transfers before within the city but this time i’m confused asf, like will my benefits carry over state to state and will my badge work day one? Will i get a tour ? Do i just walk in and start picking 😭

Hey people, so if your site ends up downflexing for the shift, but they end up taking UPT from you anyway, can you just cover it with PTO for the sake of more 💵🤑or would that count as time theft since your shift technically wasn't running at that time?

At my FC, we have 2 smaller break rooms on each side of the building, along with 2 more break rooms on the 2nd floor Mezz area as well

I liked the smaller rooms more since I was usually alone during my breaks, even though most people usually went to the main break rooms

Furthermore, the smaller break rooms still have refrigerators, microwaves, vending machines, and Keurig machines & pods, which is all I need

Thankful it seems as a seasonal warehouse worker, I will be qualified for health insurance. Upon the end of the seasonal term, what happens? Is there a number of employed days necessary to pay for COBRA insurance? That is where I pay what Amazon will pay for the insurance (a discount). I would be most happy to continue work beyond the seasonal time, but reading posts here it seems out of my control. I'm in Louisville KY where there are several warehouses.

Was hoping it was a glitch but doesn't seem so. I live only 30 miles outside PDX (zip 97051) , one of the closest hospitals to me is Kaiser. We don't have any hospital in my town.

I went to enroll with my Healthcare and used "alex" to help me decide. To where Kaiser was listed but when I was done it went back to the main page and apparently Kaiser isn't offered. This is so weird.

Any recommendations for people that live near here and what they use? I normally don't go to the Dr but plan to as I have stacked issues I've dismissed over the years and now want to get some basic and thorough tests done. Potentially one day procedure.

I wrote a comment about the sexual harassment and racial abuse at my delivery station and an Operations Manager (or at least this Redditor claimed to be one) sent me a hate message trying to disparage me for talking about my experience.

I have every right to say that I am uncomfortable with Leaders and other AA’s calling me and my coworkers “n|ggers” while we’re working. I have every right to report this to the EEOC.

Amazon shouldn’t have people like you using your title and station in the company to bully and harass people who speak up about sexual harassment and racial abuse in the company. It’s telling that you referred to the people working under you as “ghetto” and wrote that you’d rather have a different race working for you instead.

So many of the managers and associates on here defend racism and racial abuse against Black people. It says a lot about this company and the peoples it employs.

Not sure what happened at the sort center but about 20 of the containers that came into the delivery station today are way done the fill line. Sort center, please mind The fill line.

Hey I was just wondering if it's possible to get blue badge during seasonal work? I worked before as full time but got fired for negative upt but now eligible for rehire. I start November 21 at a delivery hub if it makes a difference? Will they just let me go in January? Can I ask someone there if I can convert?

Usually you're given the option to pick up 10 shifts during Peak, if you're FT. This year at my site, we were notified about this requirement through INSTALLMENTS. We were advised to pick up the obligatory 10 shifts VIA SHIFT CHOICE!!! Since when is this an appropriate notification, bypassing a text or email, that you've opted into? This was literally never announced during stand up (start up). My husband and I work at the same NASC, and work FT. We looked today, and since we did not pick up the MET via SHIFT CHOICE, they assigned up MET. This is understandable, and expected... However, they have SIX days/week... So fucked up 💔😭

I didn't show up to work on MET day. I figured they would take time out of my UPT. I checked my UPT balance and found out I still have all my UPT left, and my timecard showed I worked the full shift on the day I wasn't even there. Should I keep my mouth shut and get this FREE money? OR say something now just in case they catch the mistake later, and I get in trouble for not saying something?

I'm a college hire inbound L4 and been with Amazon a little over 10 months. My shift only has 2 AMs for over 300 AAs and an OM that is in a strecth role covering for our senior OM. We cannot keep a manager for whatever reason. And going into my first peak, I honestly think I will have a mental or physical breakdown if I stay on.

I have a masters but the job market sucks right now and all offers I've gotten have been so low

What are my options internally and externally?

I accepted a shift from 120AM to 1150 AM. However I have NEVER worked 3rd shift. I just wanted to get my foot in the door. I have been hired on as seasonal. I heard I can possibly switch shifts in the near future? Do they have to be hiring for that shift? Because my shift was the ONLY available one at the time of application. N they aren't hiring at this moment. I had to really watch the site and jumped on it when I seen the opening.

They are pretty much working 24 hours now.

I recently got fired by Amazon investigators for submitting a fake D.R. note. Am I ever able to get hired by Amazon again if so how long? Has this ever happened to anyone? Thanks.
