I drive a 2011 F150 2WD and on my way to work today my ABS, Brake and Traction Control Lights all suddenly came on, My brakes work fine and i’ve done some internet look up and could it possibly be from low brake fluid/ worn brake pads causing the systems to go off? Or could it be my speed sensors/ a combination of both?
Added on a set of air bags to help with towing, they have a minimum psi of 5 to keep in the bags at all times. If I set it around 15 it is empty or low with in no time. If I am at 20 psi of above it seems to hold. I have used soapy water and can’t locate any leaks. Any ideas?
So I got a P0430 code thats been popping up for the past 6 months (every time the weather changes) but always clears itself. A few days ago my 2015 F150 with 200K wouldn't start. I would hear it trying to turn over (quickly not slowly ... so I don't think its a starter) but never start.
I'm thinking its a fuel pump because someone told me a bad cat alone wouldn't prevent your car from starting.
Sparkplugs have 40k miles on it but I'm thinking it's a possibility that could be the issue too.
I was thinking of first replacing the fuel pump then the plugs, but maybe I should just replace all of it at once. Thoughts? Maybe its not even a fuel pump or the plugs?
Thanks
I have the antenna on my roof but I don’t have options for satellite radio in my sources on the screen. Do I not have the receiver built In even though I have the antenna?
I just picked up a 2021 f150 5.0 4wd, w/carplay and I’m loving it so far. First f150, first vehicle with CarPlay.
Help me decide on a tire for a Readylift 2-inch level on stock rims for my 2023 Tremor: Falken Widepeak A/T4W 35/11.5r18 or Nitto Recon Grapplers 295/70r18 SL version. I want a quiet and comfortable ride. The Widepeak is a 6-ply tire when you go with a 35/11.5 vs the typical e-rated 10-ply, and the Recon Grapplers are SL instead of E-rated. I am assuming the 35 will still fit even with a 2-inch level instead of 2.5-inch level?
Does have anyone have any comments on the blue cruise feature? I enjoy it on the highway when enjoying a coffee.
(With audio) battery is dead and this sound is coming from the dashboard.
Anybody have experience with a kill switch they’d recommend for the f150? Thefts getting bad in TX
The truck is 2022 xlt f150 4x4 bought used with 67000~ km. Beautiful truck that i pay for, im 22. first its transmission was acting up the 10 speed brought it in said it was bone dry that was first month. “parking break fault service now” past few weeks they say the wire on the harness is corroded and needs to be replaced. They looked for trans leak as I mentioned it was running crap again. No leak and fluid was full. What the fuck. They said this was one of the only trucks they could get Me in but i think they wanted to sell me this pos. I love the truck but it was like 55k before tax and im pretty sure i get 7%.
Where can I find body molding for the sides of the truck like this? My 2013 King Ranch came standard with this. Want to add to my monotone 2021 King Ranch. Also plan to do fender flares.

Planning to install a topper, RSI SmartCap to be specific, on my 2023 F150 Platinum 3.5l Ecoboost.
I wanted to understand from folks that use a topper (in general) whether the rear visibility from the rear view mirror is partially or completely gone?
Also, I will occasionally be towing camper trailer (up to 3k lbs - something like this). Will that be a hard thing to do with a topper - mainly looking at the trailer every now and then to ensure it’s doing good.
Thanks for any help in advance!
2022 XLT super crew 503A if that matters. My truck has been making this “errt” noise on the rear left side when starting from a stopped position and also when driving over bumps but only when I’m on the gas. I can’t replicate it by jumping up and down in the bed or rocking the truck back and forth. Dealer wasn’t able to find anything.
I took a couple videos today trying to isolate the problem. It is coming from somewhere around the wheel/axle area but I can’t tell exactly where. In the second video it does seem to coincide with the top leaf spring making contact with the bottom. Is this it or likely to be something else happening inside the axle? Leaf spring model is p ML34 5560 BH. I believe these are composite.
How’s towing with said specs? I was hung up with a max tow but this is a good deal. I don’t haul often but a few times a summer I would be towing a 8000lb camper maybe 50kms one way..
Truck has tow package, tow mirrors, 6’5 bed, crew cab, fx4. Will be putting air bags in.
Hey reddit im looking to put a aftermarket diff cover over the front and rear with drain plug. + new seal and bearing on my f150 2009 4.6 3v 4x4 I have the 8.8 rear end. The front one what i see online seem identical to the 8.8 rear.
In the past few days, the alarm on my truck has been triggered 4 times for no apparent reason. My fob batteries are still new, the truck cranks and does everything else fine. I’m almost certain now, they even told me during my state inspection that the battery is going bad and it just went off for the 4th time while writing this post. Can anyone else confirm?

This is something of a unicorn in the F-150 world... I'm looking for a bench seat, and Ford CoPilot Assist 2.0 aka Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering (Or Bluecruise, which isn't the same thing.
So far, I've found 2 trucks that are configured this way, out of hundreds. Maybe I'm trying too hard.
Here's the question... can I take a 501A or 500A Lariat, and add the Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, and Lane centering at the dealer instead of finding a factory one?
Worth it? 160k miles. One owner. Company truck. Asking 17000
I’m in the market for a used f150. I’d like to be in the 20-25k range, 100k or less on miles, has to be a super crew and prefer 4x4. Also prefer 2016 or newer. If you guys have any sites or know of any dealerships where this is common, let me know. Also if you have any advice or suggestions to make, feel free. Outside of the super crew and 4x4, I’m really not too picky. I don’t like bright colors on trucks except white. Blue (I don’t hate dark blue) and red are no go.
I’m looking at 2021 and newer trucks. How annoying are the updates? Service manager at a dealership told me that if the truck is out of warranty then they cost money. He has a truck in right now that needs $800 worth of updates? Is that correct? Why aren’t these things free?
I have taken out all bolts and have removed everything and it won’t budge. I have a broken coil pack bolt that I couldn’t extract is that what is holding it on? I can’t get any of it to move at all. Any advice?(2003 f150 5.4)
