As stated in the title, almost everything I drink leaves a horrible after taste and just tastes so bad to me. As a kid I was able to drink things with a lot of sugar like Fanta or mountain dew. But now, if I try to drink anything which has the same amount (or at least a close amount) of sugar as mountain dew or something it tastes so bad. I don't even taste the sugar, it's just that when I start to drink it, it tastes kind of bad but it's still not that bad, but after I swallow it my throat gets all sticky and my saliva becomes very VERY thick and it's just disgusting. It's been this way for a few years and I can't tell why.
In the upcoming UK elections Labour are expected to have a large majority but a party like Reform could get 20% of the votes and end up with maybe six seats. I can't believe that 400 constituencies will have more people voting for Labour than any other party.
I don't know anyone, from various backgrounds and across the country who would vote for them so how can they win such a large majority?

I'm not talking about phrases like "let's get the boys," which also exist and are used quite frequently. I'm talking about addressing someone.
It's much more common for me to hear women being called girls. And you can't tell me "men get called guys" because that's not the same. The equivalent of "guy" is "gal." The equivalent of "girl" is "boy." People don't use the term "gal." They call women the term used to refer to children: "girl."
It's as if people are infantilizing women and taking away responsibility from them: He's a man, but she's a girl. A tiny, little, innocent girl.
