People often cite this as one of the if not the worst lyrics in Eurovision history, and I don't exactly understand why. I lowkey think it has a nice ring to it. I'm from the Philippines and not a native English speaker---although I do consider myself quite fluent.

Merry FiKmas to all of you!
Today is the special night on the Festivali i Këngës where the 30 selected acts will perform historic songs for this contest. Probably in duets.
After that, 15 or 18 (depends of the site they say one number or another) of the 30 entrants will be selected as finalists to perform tomorrow and get a chance to win FiK 63.
In our experience the live chat threads on Reddit are still too clunky to use for our live threads. They're also a pain to use on old Reddit and third-party apps. Until Reddit makes this a better experience, we recommend using this:
Enjoy!
There is not much philosophy in my question. Estonia, Germany, Luxembourg, and probably a few more have participants with no ties to those countries. Many writers, maybe not even that? I find that dull. Unless you are San Marino with a literally single-digit number of professional artists who would want to participate, you shouldn't have random artists from neighbouring countries or even further representing you. Obviously, it's up to the country to decide, but it loses the point of Eurovision, doesn't it?
I want to vote international, is there a certain website?
It's so good to see she still has it 💖 Also, this was an RTVE show, so who knows, if she still has ties with the broadcaster we miiight see her in Benidorm Fest some day... 🤔
Merry FiKmas to all of you!
Today, the other15 of the 30 entries will be performed in the Palace of Congresses (Tirana) with live orchestra.
The show will last about 2h 20m.

Hey everyone! With Eurovision coming up, I was wondering what everyone's favorite way to watch is? I've been exploring streaming options, and I've found some interesting solutions that work well for international coverage. Curious to hear what you all use!
Disclaimer: I do not accuse anyone of stealing/copying/rip off anything.
So yesterday the songs from Luxemburg's NF were released. the first song was Rafa Ela's song named "No Thank You"
I liked the song very much. but for some reason, I thought in my mind "Why this song sounds so familiar to me?". this thought did not leave me. So I found myself listening to the song one more time just to realize what song this reminded me of. and then one more time. again and again. I gave up and stopped. but after ten minute the thinking about that song left in my head and I just had to find what is the song NTY remains me so much of. so I gave few more rounds. and then, it hit me!
the song NTY remains me of is Megan FoxKeysi's song Chilli Pepper from the 2020 Belarusian NF.
while it's not 100% the same, the two songs really sound to me like each other. I thought that the creators of the songs may be the same people. but looking in EurovisionWorld showing that it's two diffretne teams. so it is very weird coincidence
now, I don't think this is a rip off. I mean, while Chilli Pepper was the best song in the selection (sorry Val) why ripping off a random song that was the 4th place in the national final of a cancelled year, and the Belarusian NF out of all the countries?
this is maybe a dumb post with no conclusion. but I really want to know if it just me or the two songs relly sound like each other
The Council of RTVSLO has just decided the following:
The management of RTV Slovenia should immediately initiate a request within the framework of the EBU that Israel not perform at the Eurovision Song Contest. The RTV Council and the public should be kept informed of the efforts.
They were also thinking about withdrawing in case of Israel's participation.
Last year was my first NF season, and I managed to keep up for the most part, although wasn't able to watch FiK live, as it overlapped with my exam season here in the U.S.
But while watching tonight, it felt like there were some stark contrasts in the stagings. In particular, some songs got no staging at all, while others had props and dancers and such. Don't get me wrong, I like Ardit's song, but he had eighteen dancers and a giant prop while all Shkodra Elektronike got was their soundboard (which was even more than most of the artists).
So I was wondering, is this a decision that RTSH makes? Do they maybe pick their favorites to give these stagings to? Or are they possibly self funded by the artists themselves? I get it if artists have to find the stagings themselves which can lead to more established artists having more elaborate stagings, but at what point is it just a huge advantage?
I love the song but after watching the music video I always found the live performance to be underwhelming due to me finding its presentation to be less appealing than the one in the music video. Did they make this choice due to budget issues? the 6 person limit not allowing them to have the purple men who represent russia? Did the EBU consider the music video to be too political?
Before asking this I should really ask this first: Have Vesna or any member of the Czech Republics entry spoken about this? Or would any answer to my questions be purely speculation?
