About Eurorack stuff.

I’d love to get some kind of modulation hub that gives me maximum control over all modulations going around my system. I’ve currently got 2 Intellijel Quadratts and they do a good job but I’d love to go deeper, anyone got any suggestions?
Hi everyone! So I found this little cosmetic case a while back and I put custom rails in it, translating it into a 5U/60 HP (1 row of 3U and two rows of Intellijel 1U).
I've come up with a basic idea in ModularGrid with the intention of making it a drum/rhythm rack, but obviously it could pretty much do anything since Rample and Plaits would be the main voices.
The one thing that might bother me is Bartender as a mixer – it's a great mixer (I have one in my current main rack) but it's pretty big as you see. With that said, I like that it allows me to modulate each channel's levels, pan, and has two sends although I could only currently use one with the MultiFX module in the upper right.
Pam would be used mostly for clock sync (or generation if the rack is used by itself), modulation and pitched CV, while Steppy is on gate duties.
A few things I've considered adding are: Plonk, Tymp Legio, and smaller mixers like Rebel Technology Mix 02 (I have one already), or Erica's Black Mixer V3. Obviously I was running out of space, so I couldn't add them. Finally, I have some LPGs in there to fill in the smaller spaces (2hp in the 3U and 6HP in the bottom 1U).
If y'all know of a smaller mixer that has close to the same feature set as Bartender, let me know! I thought of using Ostrawa from XAOC Devices but it's only 4HP smaller than Bartender, so not really a big save on space.
Any other mixer ideas that would save space but not sacrifice too much on functionality?
Each New Year I set myself goals for the year, rather than resolutions. This year one of them was to build myself a Eurorack 'synth' (a full usable voice really). I have just about completed it on time and thought I would share the details, especially the costs as that was a key reason for going DIY (however building it has been great fun).
I ended up getting all the modules from CubuSynth. The first ones I got were easy to build and well documented (and worked!) so as all the other modules I wanted were available from them, I stuck with them. As you can see I just went with 'traditional' modules for now, however they are fully featured and not basic so lots of scope for learning. The modules I built are:
Engine V1
Exhaust V1
Dual CS-20 VCF
Dual vintage VCA x2
4mix
ADSR x2
VCLFO V1
4VCLFO

I started with no parts/tools and learned as I went. I bought PCB/Panel sets and sourced my own parts for most of the modules unless I couldn't do that and so for one I bought a full kit (Exhaust V1), and another it had smd pre-soldered (4mix). Costs I have listed include the parts only (a lot from AliExpress but also other places) and not tools (but really that's just a soldering iron from AliExpress which was about £40).
Case is a Behringer 104 Skiff (used off Reverb £50), and power supply is Arturia Rackbrute 3U (used off reverb £40 and installed into the skiff as it was too deep to fit!) and two Rakit STICKY busboards (£12 each). I Included this in the costs. The only non DIY module in the case is a 2hp buffered Mult from York modular which was £18, I haven't included this is the costs as it was just filing a 2hp sized hole.
My DIY cost: £652 (including case, power supply, all PCBs/Panels and parts) - about 50% of that cost is parts
Estimated cost non DIY: £1283 (includes the same second hand cost of the case/power as DIY costs)
So, it cost me about half as much than buying fully built, however there is the option of second hand, which might get you somewhere between the two. It did take many hours to build, but I absolutely loved the process of learning and building the modules and I am in the predicament now that I want to build quicker than I can learn to play. I have moved onto surface mount so that is slowing me down quite a bit for now! (also in case anyone notices, I do need a few more matching knobs to finish it off properly).
Rather than type an even longer post here I am happy to answer any questions people have. Today I tried to record audio to my PC and it seems to have worked, I think this is a SoundCloud link so you can listen to the very basic patch I have put together to show it does actually make sound, but I have a lot to learn!
I'm new to eurorack and am looking to build a small LFO setup for my DFAM and Subharmonicon. I'm thinking a suitable 4ms pod and preferably four LFOs where I'd use two of them to modulate the other two, and then patch that to the moogs. I don't want/need anything expensive/fancy that involves screens and menus. I'd prefer simple units with just rate and depth control, and of course the ability to route one LFO into the other to achieve a modulating rate+depth to send to the moog. Any suggestions on units that fits the bill?
Here’s my current Eurorack setup—what kind of music do you think I’m making with it? Curious to hear your guesses and see if anyone nails it!
The eurorack modules are :
After Later Audio - nRings Behringer - Brains Doepfer - A -135-1 Quad mixer Pamela’s New workout Knobula polycinematic Black Noise QBI Doepfer a106-5-12db SEM filter
I am new to eurorack and i own a squarp hermod+ in a Pittsburgh cell which i was using for my synths.
Please help me decide
the reason for wanting to swap the hydra is: I am moving abroad and moving the 20kg + case beast that hydra is along with all my other stuff proving to be more expensive than buying a new one.
EDIT: i have swapped it for the moog sub37 , after realising that id rather take my time finding my sound and hand pick modular gear one by one rather than getting a bulk load of stuff that i dont know about

I am an old jungle head at heart.
I love this process so much. Every patch is full of discovery and experimentation as I blindly fumble through this new world. What would you do with this? Where would your music take you? If you could add one thing what would it be? If you could get rid of half of it, what would you part with? Thanks for your thoughts and ideas.
Long-form drone performance.
So I have an acoustic drum kit, as well as a cheap Alesis electronic kit. My idea is to use the electronic kick along with real hi-hats and snare. I’d like to mic the snare and hats, but also have them trigger something else with each hit. I’m also wondering if I can use the electronic kick as a modular trigger. Can anyone recommend a good resource to figure out how this could be done? Any video tutorials on integrating drums and modular out there? Thanks so much!
Does anyone know why the sinewave from my instruo tona suddenly looks like this? There is no modulation or anything on it just the raw sine output!

I'm finally giving up on my mfx because the summing of the stereo inputs is a blocker for me. i have 6 to 8 HP in my rack available for 1 stereo or 2 mono delays but i need them to clock synch. Most of the 2hp and Pico delays i'm seeing have cv input for time knob modulation only. anything out there that can fit? I should also say, i've tried the disting and i'm not a fan of the delay options even though it boasts true stereo clocked delay. even the wmd dplr does not synch. i wish i could squeeze 10 out of my rack but i just can't.
And i checked perfect circuit yesterday and they’re all sold out that fast. I figured they would go fast as i couldn’t find any on reverb ever aside for one listing that popped up the day they were released on perfect circuit.
I’ve loved the Voltage Block for years, one of my all time favs - I sold some of my kit and have always intended to get it again. I wondered if there is something similar (or perhaps better?) that you might suggest.
Thank you.
