Eternal combines the infinite possibilities of a deep strategy card game with the pace and polish of a modern video game. In Eternal, build any deck you can imagine by freely mixing cards from an expanding collection, and plunge into lightning-fast battles. The only limits in Eternal card game are your own creativity.

I recently decided to try this game after leaving MTG - something I hope more players choose to do (give ECG a shot, I mean).
It is the best digital card game I have ever played; full stop. I was hooked the minute I tried it. As a guy who prefers PvE, it just offers so much more content than the alternatives, and it's not over-simplified like a lot of digital CCGs. And the flavor stays true to story and world.
That's why I was distressed to learn that it's been so long since the last set was released, and the relative silence from the devs. So I was hesitant to buy in.
But you know what I decided? I don't really care. Perhaps they just need a show of support. I sold a few hundred dollars worth of MTG cards and put it directly into Eternal, to help build a collection fast. I want DWD to know that people will still pay to play this game - repeatedly, if they do manage to produce more content going forward. I would spend and spend to keep this game alive.
They might not produce more though. They might not keep the servers up for too long. It's not a safe investment, and it could bite me in the ass. But after leaving MTG, I realized I'd rather lose out investing in something I believe in than safely investing in something I don't.
DWD - MAKE IT ETERNAL.
Found this game while searching a card game out of the big 3 (hearthstone, marvel snap and magic).
Played runeterra a lot, peaked at diamond before they killed the game.
The new Pokémon game is slow, too much slow and there's basically nothing to do.
Finished the tutorials on this game and I think this is what I've been looking for.
Is the game in a healthy state? Is still updated? Can someone tell me where can I look for decks? YouTubers or web page both works for me.
Also while I'm still learning, can someone tell me what cards/regions should I look for if I enjoy control decks?
Thanks in advance for any help and any answer.
I know Riftfeeder Wasp is considered on of the best, most versatile legendaries in the game, but after recently purchasing The Devouring expansion set, I don't really know what deck types and other ards from the set that will be used more often. I just made a Feln hunt and devour deck as shown below. (I only play expedition ranked battles now because I've been playing on and off for years and only a month ago got back to the game after a two year hiatus so I'm still learning Behemoths of Thera and Battle Lines mechanics strategies.) What am I doing right and wrong with this?
I've been looking at some netdecks (yea, I know it's evil, before anyone asks), and stumbled over some promo-cards I can't craft? I've bought and played every chapter, all the campaigns and stuff too, and yet I still can't get Listening Bug? Am I missing something?
I used to play this game a lot, some of you might even remember me. Long story short, I got really excited for magic again after Bloomburrow/Duskmourn, started looking into UW control in pioneer, and found out that even that format would be universe beyondified in the future. Just did my first draft and I'm really glad there's been a lot of new cool stuff added to the game and I'm looking to play control in one of the formats the first chance I get.
P.S. if anyone has a cool control list to work towards, I would really appreciate seeing it.
Hey everyone I came back after I don't even know 3 years? 4 years? And went right ahead with my favourite hobby... deck crafting :)
So what I came up with:
https://eternalwarcry.com/decks/d/9Tkwvg0crHM/rift-gooning
Deck tries to play Rift's Edge on turn 5 and get as many activations as possible.
3 abilities:
Utility spells that deal damage (Vara's Favor) become very good removal and even finisher (Sealed Writ) later on on top of giving life back! They synergize well with Razor Lash giving every spell Decay.
Cards such as Battle at the Gates , Wrath of Caiphus and Cull the Deck let's you control the pace of the game!
Drawing a 9/9 Moldermuck can win you the game PS: There is a cute interaction when buffed by Vine Grafter, the first copy of Muck retains it's stat since it has Regen.
If you find any ways to improve on it please let me know.. :)
I plan on adding Fall to Ruin but I don't own it yet. I theory crafted a bit, while Muck creates copy of itself and then goes to your void it should be increasingly easier to activate it's secondary condition/effect
Explanation: I just started yesterday and am already in love with the game. Just played my first 5 ranked games (went 3-2 with a free deck) to unlock the last game format - events. Now I see it is a monthly sealed league that ends today. I have a lot of time today to spend on Eternal and am wondering is it worth it to start it now? I assume I need to play a ton today to make it worthwhile?
TL;DR Should I start monthly sealed event today and how many matches should I play (I guess 40 minimum)?
EDIT: Just for some info, I did not join the sealed league after all. As I haven't even finished Forge runs and still had a lot of puzzles to do, I decided to skip this month and join the next league. As I love sealed in MTG I am excited to play this months league for a few games each week.!
Didn't take any screenshots, but: I'm playing a bit of Throne. Deck: my own Aurelian Flying Strangers. Opponent: 5f Strangers with Creation Project (loved the idea, tbh). Matchup: strange, pretty much unwinnable for either side. My only wincon: milling out my opponent with Makkar's Stranger (times three at the end). Luckily managed to draw a banish to get rid of their Grodov's Stranger they drew from me. Pretty much the whole last four turns was just: play 0-1 cost strangers (both sides had a Tracer's Farm), draw a lot of cards from them, and then use Strange Navigator to get back the sacrificed Strangers to continue, until my hand was filled with 12 power cards.
That's the reason why I loved Slivers in MtG, and adore Strangers in Eternal. The mirror-match is a completely unique experience.
Just starting the deck essentially, I played very briefly a few years ago and I might have 900 gold. A little confused what the first thing to do should be. I started a draft I think it was but the one that's free against AI. Some starter tips would be appreciated thanks!
I have 30k shiftstone, 14k gold and just netdecked a simple aggro deck. Any advice on the best way to start farming a collection?
...and I am surprised that I joined in at rank 1258. There aren't that many players anyone, it seems. Maybe a lot of you don't join sealed for the packs anymore? Is sealed the unloved child nowadays? Or is Eternal mostly populated by the old core of players who still love it for what it is, an amazing CCG developed for the digital space?
Fuck Universes Beyond, fuck reneging on your word for money, fuck playing Phyrexians vs the Bikini Bottom crew featuring Dr. Who. I'm done with it.
I'm looking for a card game to switch to, and while I love MTG mechanically and have supported it for 15 years, I can't stand to support its creation anymore. Is Eternal the closest digital CCG to Arena in modern times? If so, where is the best place to start learning (outside of game tutorials and such of course; I mean more like meta)? Is the economy fair enough? Are wait times a problem for a smaller community like this? Thanks in advance.
Since B4ller1na tournament series comes to an end i ve decided to create a new series of tournaments to keep things rollin, that in the future (waiting for in-game tournament support) will have some (small) prizes. This is a test tourney cus its the first i ve ever organized, There are 8 slots open so if you wanna participate dont wait! The theme is: we are back to the start of the Expedition format and the future looks bright, Empty Throne, Defiance , Dark Frontier and The Trials of Grodov are the only Legal sets; time to let Sand Titan shine again! (or whatever you like to brew!)
And this is the link to the Tournament Discord : https://discord.gg/AebqxbMZnT
Last time I drafted I had a terrible experience with extremely long queue times and and really unbalanced gameplay, has the format improved at all in the last year?
This guy is playing a 140cards deck in draft 🤔
This Sunday (27th of October), at 7 pm CEST (11 am MT), the last of the 7 Revival Series tournament will be held in Singleton format. This weekly tournament series, designed and organised by fellow player B4ller1na, uses double eliminitation format and best-of-3 matches and comes with a new deck building restriction each week.
This time you are only allowed to play a single copy of each card (including sigils and all other power cards) in your deck and you are not allowed to play anything but cards with the bargain keyword in your market.
You can register for the tournament (for free) on battlefy: Revival-Series 7/7: Highlander's Journey by Revive Eternal
And you need to join the Revival Series Discord because the tournament is organised there: https://discord.gg/GQYYq5c933 (the link on the battlefy front page doesn't work, but this one and the one under "contact" on battlefy should)
Hi, LordPerth here. In this new monthly series I take a deck that I enjoyed playing on ladder and post a video in which I explain the idea behind it, talk about potential swaps you can make and play a few games to show it in action. In the first episode I talk about an old classic from Isomorphic that I tried to revive, JPS Keelo Combo.
You can find the decklist here: Deck tech #2 - JPS Keelo Combo by LordPerth | Eternal Decks | Eternal Warcry
And the video here: Eternal CCG deck tech + gameplay #2 - JPS Keelo Combo
So, I’m gearing up to get a bunch of the non PVP achievements that I don’t currently have and realize I’m only 200,000 damage shy of the 1,000,000 damage achievement.
I make an Order of the Spire deck with a bunch of copy creatures cards and the typical empower package and get ready for the long slog to 1,000,000.
First AI opponent in the first match and they run out a flamestoker. I give it a few turns while building up my board and it occurs to me that the AI will attack into my 999/999’s Every. Single. Turn.
All I have to do is block with all of them.
So 40ish turns later and boom over 200,000 damage done in a single game.
Now if only the 10,000 pvp wins or 50 7-0 drafts were that easy.
I'm returning to ECG and I'm enjoying it! Played a lot in the early days, throughout "The fall or argenport".
I mostly want to focus on Expedition and I have a few questions:
-Are there any old-school staples that are expedition-legal and playable? (I'm thinking Sandstorm titan, Xenan Obelisk, Statuary maiden and the like)
-What chapters/campaigns/bundles are worth buying? What are for you the most valuable cards locked behind them?
-How can I find good decklists to start with in Expedition?
Thanks in advance
These are the four most playable cards released in the same month that I can remember. The art on them is pretty cool. And the avatar is a kickass bird. If you are a person who might ever buy a chapter upgrade, have a look at this one.
